I took mangoes from a neighbor's yard when I was a kid. My mama marched me over there to tell her what I did. The lady said it was okay but mama said no it wasn't because I should have asked first. I never took anything without asking again & I have a strong sense of right & wrong. I have no emotional "damage" from it unless you can call morals emotional problems. My mom passed away 30 years ago,but I wish I had told her "Thanks Mom for loving me enough to teach me right from wrong."
