SO, THE ISSUE IS JOBS?

First of all, let's get this out of the way. American workers are not seeing "their jobs" go overseas. They are seeing their former employer's jobs going away. The jobs belong to the employers, not to the workers. Workers don't create jobs, businessmen and women do.

Now we have Barack Obama telling us that Obama is oh so very concerned about jobs. Well, if that's so, they why is he talking so proudly about his plans to raise taxes on the very people who create and provide those jobs? Can someone out there smarter than I am please explain this to me?

You may be an Obama supporter. Super. Good for you. Just try to noodle through this one if you would. Right now about 70% of existing jobs in the American economy are in small businesses. Eighty percent of all new jobs are now being created by small businesses. If we want our economy to turn around we need these small business men and women to do the heavy lifting. These small business owners generally report their business income on their individual income tax returns. Are you with me so far here? This isn't all that difficult, but then again we are dealing with people who were educated by the government here. OK ... so we have small businesses creating eight out of ten new jobs ... and along comes Barack Obama who promises to raise income taxes on these people! This amazing super-human wants to bring back jobs by raising the taxes on the very people we will depend on to create those jobs! What an amazing concept!

Now Barack Obama knows he's vulnerable here ... so he cranks up the teleprompters and tells the people he is going to cut capital gains taxes on America's small businesses. Well isn't that just so very special? The problem is, these small businesses don't pay capital gains taxes. They pay income taxes ... the taxes The Chosen One wants to raise! Most of the Obama-bots are fooled. Are you?

And please tell me this. Is having a certain skin tone in the White House really worth your paycheck? (Yup, the job belongs to the employer – the paycheck belongs to you – at least whatever part of it Obama thinks is "fair" for you to keep, and that would be the part you don't "need.")

By the way ... the above will most certainly be categorized as a racist comment by someone, somewhere before the day is over. Suggesting that people are going to vote for this fraud because of his skin color is verboten.

Think, people! Think! You only have 28 days to avert this disaster!

SOMETHING ABOUT JOBS ... PART DEUX

I got an email from my publisher yesterday asking if I had been giving the two FairTax books a big push. It seems that sales of The FairTax Book and FairTax, the Truth have been spiking. Well .. it wasn't me, so I guess something else is going on out there.

That call and the spike in sales of the FairTax books does give me the opportunity to remind you that there is no better job creation took out there right new than the FairTax. With implementation of the FairTax several things happen:

1. Business begin operating in the U.S. with no tax component on capitol or labor. This means that businesses who have been sending their jobs overseas will immediately start bringing them back home. Thos jobs left to find a more favorable tax climate. What more favorable tax climate could there be than a no-tax climate?
2. Foreign government start screaming bloody murder because their corporations start shipping their jobs here to the U.S. Again, the no-tax climate would be the draw.
3. Trillions of dollars that Americans have sent overseas to work in lower tax countries start coming home as well. These dollars will fuel the greatest explosion in the American economy – and that means more jobs – in history.
4. You have to hide under you bed to avoid employment.

Obama counters with McCain's relationship with Charles Keating. How easy is this to handle? It is just this simple.

Charles Keating was not KNOWN to be a corrupt businessman when his relationship with McCain began. Bill Ayers WAS known to be a terrorist when his relationship with Obama began. If you buddy up with someone who later turns out to be a crook, that's one thing. If you begin an association with someone known to already be a crook – in this case a terrorist – that's quite another. Come on, folks. This stuff is so easy. The truth is that the best friend Barack Obama has out there is not a terrorist but is an uninformed celebrity-worshipping electorate.

WHAT JOHN MCCAIN NEEDS TO SAY TONIGHT

I know ... I know ... I have been saying this for a while now, but if John McCain has any chance of winning this race, it may all come down to tonight. Last week, Sarah Palin did all that she could do and she did it well. Now, it is up to John McCain to save this campaign. Tonight's debate could really be the end of this thing. With the economy going down the tank (no thanks to government there ... Democrats or Republicans) it is inevitable that the party not in charge of the White House gets a boost. In this case, that would be Barack Obama. But that isn't the only reason why he is going to win this election. He is going to win this election because the people of this country don't know any better.

So here are a few things that John McCain should say tonight during the debate ... but won't.

1. Barack Obama says that he wants to lower capital gains taxes for small businesses in America. Does anyone see anything wrong with Barack Obama's plan? How about the fact that small businesses in this country don't pay capital gains taxes, they pay income taxes. And guess what? Barack Obama wants to raise income taxes on anyone making over $250,000 a year, and that includes you small business owners or the person you work for.
2. Do you realize that under a Barack Obama administration, his tax policies will be dictated by what the government deems to be fair or neighborly? They will decide how much of your money you actually "need," and the rest is subject to seizure. Oh, that paying higher taxes is "patriotic." Since when is it the government's job to decide how much of your money you should be allowed to keep?
3. Just yesterday I made a speech outlining how Democrat policies, supported by Barack Obama led to the mortgage meltdown in this country. It was the Democrats who, for years, opposed any type of reform. I called for this reform back in 2006. President Bush asked for this reform. But the Democrats didn't want it. They wanted to continue funding subprime mortgages because that was the American dream.
4. And speaking of these subprime mortgages ... have any of you ever heard of a little organization called ACORN? I bet you Barack Obama has heard of it. Because he worked with ACORN as a community organizer. (Oh wait, I'm not supposed to say that. Now I am racist ... ) But it was organizations like ACORN that would bully and coerce banks into making subprime mortgages to people who should be renters.
5. My opponent has proposed nearly one million dollars in pork spending – we call them earmarks now – for every day he's served in the U.S. Congress. I've been here for decades, and haven't asked for one dollar of pork.
6. My running mate, Governor Sarah Palin, resigned a government position so that she could go after a member of her own party engaged in corrupt activities in Alaska. Barack Obama has a history of supporting the corrupt political machine that helped him rise to prominence in Chicago.

And that's just for starters .........

ANOTHER GOLDMAN SACHS ALUM TAKES THE REIGNS

Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson has found his man to head the new government Office of Financial Stability, which will oversee the $700 billion bailout. And that man is Neel Kashkari. He will be in charge of this nation's economic bailout until a full appointment is made, which needs Senate confirmation.

Kashkari worked for Goldman Sachs as a vice presidential-level banker in San Francisco. That's where he was when Henry Paulson tapped him to join the Treasury. And Kashkari was one of three Treasury staffer responsible for writing the original $700 billion bailout bill that was initially rejected by the House.

A Wall Street Journal blog says, "Kashkari's appointment is another example of how deep those Goldman Sachs ties go."

OBAMA CLAIMS IGNORANCE

Yesterday we talked a lot about the McCain campaigns latest attempts to remind the American people about Barack Obama's associations with domestic terrorist Bill Ayers. Look, we've been through this. You've read the research from Stanley Kurtz and others, you've seen Obama in interviews. They were pals, and no amount of gasping and protesting from Obama changes that.

The latest from Obama advisors is that when Barack Obama first met Bill Ayers in the 1990s, that Obama wasn't aware of Ayers' radical past. Well isn't that convenient. Did Obama read a newspaper while at Columbia in the 1980s, or bother to listen to people in Chicago who regularly cited Bill Ayers – a prominent figure in Chicago – as a an "ex-radical" and "ex-fugitive." It should have been "domestic terrorist" but you get my point.

Obama's advisors are lying. Let The Chosen One take the stage and tell us the he didn't know about Ayers' past when the friendship began.

The fact of the matter is this ... when Barack Obama was being introduced into the political culture in Chicago, he attended a "get-to-know you" event at Bill Ayers' house. Even if we are to believe that Barack Obama had no idea who the guy was, the fact is that he had plenty of years after that to disassociate himself with this man. And yet he chose not to. Sort of like Jeremiah Wright.

HOLLYWOOD'S LATEST PROJECT

Considering the buzz surrounding Barack Obama and Bill Ayers, somebody is looking to ride the coat-tails of fervor ... and that would be Hollywood. There is a new script making the rounds in Hollywood circles about Bill Ayers as a "sixties radical." It will be based on Ayers' 2001 memoir. While nothing is currently in the script about Barack Obama, the writer is considering adding Obama as a finishing touch to the script in order to capitalize on the current popularity of the subject.

AND SPEAKING OF HOLLYWOOD AGAIN ...

Hollywood does not want the conservative-leaning picture "An American Carol" to do well. There are investigations underway into whether or not movie theatres are crediting other movies with money spent on "An American Carol."

READING ASSIGNMENTS

It's important to keep in mind where Barack Obama got his political start ... with the blessing of a corrupt Chicago establishment.

Barack Obama wants to talk about Keating 5. Fine. Then let's also point out that one of the Keating 5 is a surrogate for the Obama campaign.

Uh oh. John McCain calls Barack Obama the big L word ... a liar. Actually, he doesn't explicitly call Obama a liar, but that's what the media will hype.

Many of you have been outraged by this Obama youth fraternity video. The government middle school teacher who posted the video of his students has since been suspended.

Coming soon to America ... Canadians are upset that private clinics are starting to pop up and they are providing better medical services, which is terrible because they are "taking away from the public health-care system."

The Media Research Center has created the Sweet-On-Obama Sixteen Media Bias Tournament, which is a play on March Madness but for presidential coverage.

Russia is sending nuclear warships to Venezuela to do an exercise with the Venezuelan Navy.

Hugo Chavez will give you a new car if you turn in a car considered a "gas guzzler." He'll also give you a free year's worth of gasoline.

Have you heard the news? Cindy Sheehan is starting her own political party! What? The Ignoranus Party? The Ditz Party?

A government middle school imposes a 5 step plan for students to take more responsibility for their behavior ... parents immediately complain about the "emotional impact" on their children.
