OH PLEASE OH PLEASE OH PLEASE Now Hillary Clinton is talking about having her name placed into nomination at the Democrat convention. Wasn't it just a week or so ago that she said that she did not want to be nominated? What has changed? Barack's polls, that's what. The Chosen One is not looking all that good lately. Changed positions, presidential seals, arrogance, his "People of the world, this is the moment we've been waiting for" attitude? Maybe Hillary sees a chance! Please let it be so. This bizarre election season could actually get better! Boortz, Hannity Uncensored

HOW SIMPLE IS THIS REALLY?
So ... you're a Barack Obama supporter. You can hardly wait until that magical moment when you can walk into a voting booth and cast your vote for him. Fine. Whatever works for you, right? But can you stop for just a moment ant tell me if this really is going to work for you? Let's talk about your job. Who do you work for. Are you part of that 70% of Americans who work for a small business? If you're newly hired, is your new job part of the 80% of all new jobs that have been created in the private sector by small businessmen? If so, your boss .. the man you work for; the person who signs your paychecks .. that is the very person that is right in the crosshairs for your candidate's proposals for tax increases. So, before you cast that vote ... know what is at stake. Know that Obama wants to raise taxes and raise them substantially on the man or woman you work for. Are you absolutely certain this is not going to have any adverse affect on your job? Tell you what ... why don't you ask him? Something to think about. OK ... LET'S JUST SAY WHAT'S REALLY GOING ON HERE
The city of Los Angeles wants to use the power of government to force private businesses to cater to illegal aliens. Here's what's happening ... the City Council committee voted unanimously to force large home-improvement stores to set aside space for day laborers. The plan must now be passed by the full council, but if it comes into effect it means that companies like Home Depot or Lowes or any private home-improvement store 100,000 square feet or larger must create a space for day laborers who are seeking employment.
Simple equation: Day laborers = illegal aliens. These shelters are required to be easily accessible and provide drinking water, bathrooms, tables with seating and trash facilities ... all paid for by the private businesses. Why not require the businesses to serve them breakfast burritos and coffee? The stores will also be required to develop a security plan and consult with the LA Police Department on how to protect these workers. Home Depot has asked that an amendment be added that would make the city responsible for operating the shelters. But as of right now, there is no such amendment. Just one of the problems from this asinine ordinance would be to increase the businesses exposure to legal actions should these illegal aliens (day laborers) get injured while loitering on company property waiting for a job. Now listen to this, Bethany Leal with the Multi-Ethnic Immigrant Worker Organizing Network says that this is an example of "immigration integration." She says, "By having public and private entities work together to create facilities used primarily by immigrants, individual residents, as well as the whole city, benefit." What word is missing from this? C'mon ... you can say it ... illegal. These facilities aren't just for day laborers, they are for illegal immigrants. And I'm not just BSing you (like I generally do). Look at the facts. There are over a million illegal immigrants in Los Angeles. Illegal aliens represent more than one quarter of all workers in the production, construction and service industries. In other words, there are a lot of them and there is a larger percentage of them working as day laborers ... how obvious could our government get? FYI ON BARACK AND 'BIG OIL'
Barack Obama is trying his darndest to link John McCain to "big oil" and Dick Cheney. Yesterday on the program we talked about Obama's latest McCain-Exxon ad, where he claims that John McCain has received $2 million in campaign contributions from people in the oil industry ... which is completely untrue. The actual figure is more like $1.3 or $1.4 million, but that is beside the point. What Obama failed to mention is that he himself has received well over $400,000 in campaign contributions from "big oil." Nice try, BO! Something else that Barack Obama has failed to bring up ... and that the media has failed to point out (there's a surprise) ... is that Obama voted for an energy bill in 2005 that included billions in subsidies for oil and natural gas production. Dick Cheney was credited with writing, or at least influencing, much of the bill. And yet Barack voted for it ... twice. Even more surprising is that John McCain did not vote for the bill "because it included billions in unnecessary tax breaks for the oil industry." The Obama camp says that he supported the bill because it included "huge investments in renewable energy." Yeah, like the ethanol industry ... and we know how well that has gone. Want another example of Obama's failure to tell the whole truth? He is also saying that McCain is trying to push a $4 billion tax break for the oil industry. Just what is The Chosen One talking about? That would be McCain's proposal to lower corporate income taxes. Currently the United States has the second-largest corporate income tax in the industrialized world. Our punishing tax rates are chasing businesses and capital overseas. Now if you do the math you will see that if McCain manages to get his cut in the corporate tax rate through would cut corporate taxes to oil companies by about $4 billion. So there you go .... Ignoring all of the other American businesses that would benefit, The Big BO is pushing the idea to his ignorant followers that this is really nothing more than a big break for big oil. SAY IT AIN'T SO ... A GAY HERO!
Parents in California are being warned by a conservative group that their children may be subjected to a "Gay Day." A bill currently under consideration in California would require government schools to have an official "Gay Day" on May 22nd of each year. The day would be dedicated to a man named Harvey Milk, who was the first openly homosexual person to be elected to a government office. Any takers as to which city he was elected in? That would be San Francisco. He was assassinated by a former San Francisco Board of Supervisors in 1978. The bill will require government schools to designate May 22nd "as having special significance in public school and educational institutions and encourages those entities to conduct suitable commemorative exercises on that date."
BECOMING A NATION OF BLUBBERBUTTS
If you ever want proof that we are becoming a nation of blubberbutts ... take a visit to Disney World and watch all the fatties running around on their rented scooters. Now there's a new government study shows that it's possible that every American adult could be overweight in the next 40 years. Sadly we don't have that far to go two-thirds of the population is already there.
Ok, those of you with racial chips ... go ahead and put them on your shoulders. Weight problems will affect blacks and Mexicans the most. All black women in America could be overweight in less than 30 years, as could more than 90% of Mexican men in this country. The black women don't have too far to go 78% are currently overweight or obese. And can you think of what this is really going to affect? Healthcare. The study estimates that healthcare costs related to fatsos will double each decade and will reach $957 billion by 2030. That would mean that one out of every six dollars spent on healthcare would be spent on the lardassification of America. And you want the government to be in charge of your healthcare? REDNECK SCRAP BOOK Brad sends us this amazing video out of Ohio...rednecks, catfight, blubber, and more! More in the Redneck Scrap Book. READING ASSIGNMENTS Continuing the absurd racial debate ... Is there sinister subtext in McCain ads? Just remember folks ... any negative comment about The Big O uttered by a white person is, by definition, racist. Get used to this new reality.John McCain continues his ads pointing out Obama's celebrity status. Looks like the people agree. 48% of people say they are hearing too much about The Big O. Nancy Pelosi has responded to the current Republican debate, which continues in her absence. She is blaming Republicans for failing to "support serious, responsible proposals." Yeah ... wind farms. In the meantime, Nancy has moved on to more important issues ... like asking President Bush to make sure that an Olympic speed skater can get into China. Nancy is worried about a skater .. but not about what it costs for you to fill your tank. Here's something that every liberal should read: How General Petraeus Saved the U.S. Economy. Scientists from the University of Washington have concluded that "there's no clear evidence that human-induced climate change has caused a drop in 20th century snow levels." Just in case you were not aware ... retiring early is now considered unpatriotic. The United States Postal Service lost more than a billion dollars last quarter ... it's a government operation. What do you expect? Things must be going horribly wrong in Flint, Michigan if you have to post a "No Ho Zone" sign in your front yard. Boy this is one lucky elevator repair man. Only a lawyer could think of this ... WhoCanISue.com. Okay, folks. Here we go. Pictures of John Edwards' love child ... take them for what you will. A woman in Vancouver decides that a great time to breastfeed would be in the middle of an aisle in a popular clothing store. When the clerks offer to get her a chair ... she complains. Forbes magazine has a list of the top 10 'Fastest-Dying Cities'. Any guesses as to #1? |
