THE MYSTERIOUS "WHITEY" TAPE
This may or may not become an issue today, but some are saying that there's a tape out there of Michelle Obama using the "whitey" label during some event she attended with Louis Farrakhan. Well, it's bad enough that she would even make an appearance with the hateful Farrakhan .. but you really have to stretch your imagination to believe that she would be stupid enough to start slinging the "whitey" word around.
The mysterious tape is supposed to surface sometime this morning. We'll see. In that tape some want you to believe that Michelle Obama, in referring to George Bush, said "Whitey cut folks off Medicaid" along with a few other charges. Some liberal blogs are already saying that what Ms. Obama was actually saying was "Why'd he cut folks off Medicaid?" Frankly, it sounds to me that some folks are trying to make a big deal out of nothing. This one isn't going to stick. Better to make a big deal out of the fealty that both Obamas seem to show to the repulsive Farrakhan. EURABIA
Now here is something you need to be paying attention to. Mark Steyn wrote an excellent book titled "America Alone The End of the World as We Know It." This book carries some excellent and well-documented information about the Islamification of Europe. We've gone over this several times on the air. [Listen to Neal & Mark Steyn discuss this.] In many European Countries and particularly in Spain and Italy Muslims are out-procreating native-born citizens by a dangerous margin. Steyn suggests that it is inevitable that these countries will eventually have a Muslim voting majority .. and I think we can form a good guess as to where things go from there.
It seems that some excerpts from this book were printed in a Canadian magazine named McCleans. Along comes the Canadian version of the Council on American Islamic Relations (The Canadian Islamic Something-or-other) to file a complaint with the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal. They say that the magazine's presentation of the information gathered by Mark Steyn somehow violates the rights of Canada's precious Muslim population. Oh, the humanity! You can read a blow-by-blow blog of the proceedings before this foolish human rights tribunal here. Then when you're finished reading this nonsense you might want to give some consideration to the fact that in Milan, the economic capital of Italy, the three most popular names for new male babies are Mahmoud, Ahmad and Hamid. Pay no attention to this. I'm sure it means nothing. DEEP THINKING CAN BE A REAL STRUGGLE FOR SOME
Atlanta Journal-Constitution left-wing columnist Jay Bookman published another one of his attacks on the FairTax yesterday's paper. So --- what did Bookman come up with this time? What great and wonderful objection to the FairTax did he reveal to an eagerly awaiting readership? Sit down, please, while I tell you that Jay Bookman says that Washington lobbyists will still be working the hallways of congress to get tax breaks for their business clients even after the FairTax is enacted. Fine ... let's noodle this one through. Actually, it doesn't take much noodling. The FairTax would completely eliminate the federal tax burden for businesses in this country. So Bookman wants us to believe that a business that pays no federal taxes is going to pay big bucks to a lobbyist to work some congressman to lower their federal tax burden? On what possible level does this make sense? One high point. Bookman says that this is probably the last time he'll write about the FairTax. That's a good thing. HILLARY'S LAST DAY?
Today could be it. Tonight Hillary Clinton is scheduled to make a speech in New York. She has also asked her staff to report to New York and turn in any and all expense reports ... to add to her millions of dollars that she already owes from the campaign trail. Even if Hillary wins Montana or South Dakota today, it's not going to matter. Nothing new there. It hasn't mattered for a long time now. Barack Obama will be the Democrat nominee. A virtual empty suit with no real accomplishments to his political name will be the Democrat nominee. Mass hysteria the American Idol mentality at work. Even though Obama is walking away with this he says that he and Hillary will be working together in the fall. This, my friends, is scary stuff.
Perhaps the best news to come of all this is Bill Clinton's declaration that "... this may be the last day I'm ever involved in a campaign of this kind." If only he had made that decision months ago, maybe Hillary would actually be the nominee. Unfortunately for Bill, I won't be the only one that is sad to see him go. Of course, you have to know there's already a video on YouTube all ready to celebrate this day. CLIMATE CHANGE BILL
Here's something that the lamestream media probably won't report about this climate change legislation. A study by the National Association of Manufacturers found that this Lieberman-Warner bill will cause 1.8 million job losses, as much as a $210 billion GDP reduction and as much as a 33% increase in electricity prices by 2020. But you environmentalists and anti-capitalists go on and justify this cap-and-trade scheme as the only means to save the planet. Save the planet from what? From warming? Tell me, just one thing: what is the ideal temperature for the Earth? Come on! I'm waiting? What is the Earth's idea temperature? Slowly but (hopefully) surely the American people will come grudgingly to the realization that this whole global warming is much more about damaging the American free enterprise economy than it is about saving the environment. I've been preaching this line for quite some time now ... but if you haven't been listening to me perhaps you will listen to Charles Krauthammer. Take a look at this Krauthammer column. To whet your appetite here is one excerpt: "Two decades ago, however, socialism and communism died rudely, then were buried forever by the empirical demonstration of the superiority of market capitalism everywhere from Thatcher's England to Deng's China, where just the partial abolition of socialism lifted more people out of poverty more rapidly than ever in human history. "Just as the ash heap of history beckoned, the intellectual left was handed the ultimate salvation: environmentalism. Now the experts will regulate your life not in the name of the proletariat or Fabian socialism but -- even better -- in the name of Earth itself." Listen up, folks. Your economic future is up for grabs here. AND BARACK WANTS TO REASON WITH THIS GUY?
While reading this next little bit in Nealz Nuze, just keep one little thought in the back of your mind ... Barack Obama thinks that it is a good idea to go over there and talk to this guy without any conditions. None. A little talk with the ObaMessiah is going to change the very nature of this mad mullah. Riiiiight. On Monday, Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad predicted that Muslims would uproot "satanic powers" (the United States) and Israel will soon disappear. He said, "I must announce that the Zionist regime (Israel), with a 60-year record of genocide, plunder, invasion and betrayal is about to die and will soon be erased from the geographical scene." Isn't that pleasant? So for many of you out there, it is now time for you to whine "But this is Israel. Why do we care about Israel ... it's not like he is threatening the United States." For those of you who's mental processes operate at that level, Ahmadinejad had some news for you too. He said, "Today, the time for the fall of the satanic power of the United States has come and the countdown to the annihilation of the emperor of power and wealth has started." Prepare for the countdown. Can you imagine how Barack Obama will prepare for this countdown? How is Barack Obama going to defend our country from a man who has just put a ticking time bomb on our very existence on this earth? I'll give you a hint: he's not. He will talk. He will appease. He will create concessions. All the while he will be working to weaken the American military at least that is what he has promised. He will bow to the every demand of this Muslim dictator. He will make America weaker. He will make America vulnerable to those who wish nothing but to obliterate us from the map. That's the America you can look forward to. THE ATMOSPHERE BELONGS TO THE GOVERNMENT
This isn't a joke, folks. There is a law professor at the University of Oregon by the name of Mary Wood. Mary is a believer in global warming ... so much so, that she is taking her knowledge of the law and trying to find a way to force the government into acting on climate change.
She has developed this theory that the atmosphere is an asset that belongs to all but is held in trust by the government. Therefore, the government has a legal obligation to protect that trust from harm. Mary says, "The main problem with climate is that no government is taking responsibility for it and our government is sitting idle while this catastrophe is unfolding." In her professional opinion, here are a number of immediate steps the government should take to reduce CO2 emissions. Ban all new coal-fired power plants. Limit the amount of legal motorized recreation. Mandate renewable energy use. And, my favorite, ban all airport expansions. Now this would be one fun woman to debate. A law school professor ... Lord help us. Remember, those who can, do. Those who can't, teach. GOVERNMENT WORK ETHIC
A couple went to the courthouse in the Bronx, New York to get married. She's standing there in her white dress ... 4 months pregnant. No telling whether this guy she was marrying was the baby-daddy. But the couple is ready to get married when the court clerk decides that she's too tired and hungry and doesn't want to perform the ceremony. The clerk apparently had her thong in a wad about something and simply refused to do any more ceremonies. How's that for government service? But the day was saved when a lawyer, court officers and a judge stepped in to do the job of the incompetent government bureaucrat. READING ASSIGNMENTS Luckily, President Bush says that he will veto the climate legislation in its current form. He also says the climate bill would raise gas prices. Fundraisers for Hillary Clinton are eager to start raising millions for their new messiah, Barack Obama. For those of you with some time on your hands, here's the Vanity Fair piece that has Bill Clinton's boxers in a bunch. It's called the "The Comeback Id." Here's Bill Clinton's reaction to the piece. The Politico says that it might not be a great idea for Republicans or John McCain to criticize Obama for his inexperience. No-brainer Are conservatives more honest than liberals? Here's some insight into the differences between "progressives" and conservatives. American taxpayers could apparently save over $46 billion if the government decided to treat drug addicts rather than lock them in prison. What have I been telling you for years? The state of New York decided to put a tax on online sales ... two large companies are already suing and one has decided to stop doing business in New York. How about $235,350 for a new public restroom? Those are your tax dollars, folks. Take a look at your tax dollars going right into the pockets of Congressmen and their families in the form of "earmarks." Some parents in Texas are upset that their children are being taught about Islam by their local chapter of CAIR ... what did they expect from a government school? Here's a great blast from the past ... remember who else ran on a platform of change? Barack Obama is just carrying the torch. A 14-year-old boy stole $22,000 from a neighbor's home and started paying for family groceries and giving the money to needy friends and relatives. Now the boy has to go in for counseling. Owing $580 to your homeowners association could mean the HOA decides to foreclose on your house and kick you out. Maybe they could have saved some money by opting out on the McDonalds. A Hillary Clinton supporter was locked inside her car and couldn't figure out how to get out. A London artist thought it would be a cute idea to decorate snails with graffiti and let them roam around the city. Here's a link to the book Neal mentions from time to time, The Law by Frederick Bastiat. |
