OBAMA'S DAMAGE CONTROL

Looks like Obama's getting just a bit fed up with his "former" pastor. He had a little press conference yesterday. We now learn that Obama is "outraged" at Jeremiah Wright's latest comments. Gee, ya think? Obama says that this isn't the same man that he met 20 years ago and that Wright's comments do not accurately portray Obama's perspective of the black church.

And why in the why in the wide, wide world of black liberation theology did it take until now for Barack Obama to become outraged? You know, some of us would have been a bit more than outrage the first time we heard out pastor ask God to damn America ... and don't give me that nonsense about Obama not knowing what was going on at the pulpit of his 20-year church. His response? "I gave [Reverend Wright] the benefit of the doubt in my speech in Philadelphia explaining that he's done enormous good. ... But when he states and then amplifies such ridiculous propositions as the U.S. government somehow being involved in AIDS. ... There are no excuses. They offended me. They rightly offend all Americans and they should be denounced. Just how do you give someone the "benefit of the doubt" over comments like that? If I remember Mississippi Senator Trent Lott didn't get much benefit of the doubt when he made those innocuous comments about Strom Thurmond's presidential candidacy. George W. Bush didn't get much benefit of the doubt with that Mission Accomplished statement that he (didn't) hang on that aircraft carrier. Fuzzy Zeller didn't even get much of a benefit of the doubt when he made that crack about the Champion's Dinner at the Masters golf tournament. Fuzzy was talking about fried chicken and greens .. and Wright was talking about America bringing 9/11 on itself! Benefit of the doubt? Give me a break!

So Obama sits back and sees that this just isn't going away any time soon. Day after day Obama gets knocked off his vapid "Change We Can Believe In" message by Jeremiah Wright enjoying his 15 minutes ... and now it becomes time to act. Now we wait for some race warlords out there to complain that the white man forcing Obama to denounce his own church and black community.

Here's the video for those of you who missed the press conference.

REVEREND WRIGHT ISN'T NEWSWORTHY ...

At least that is what the National Press Club thought two years ago. Yesterday on the program we brought you the story of Barbara Reynolds, a Hillary Clinton supporter, who organized Reverend Wright's speech at the National Press Club. It turns out that Reynolds pitched Jeremiah Wright as a potential speaker two years ago ... but the National Press Club felt he wasn't "newsworthy." I guess Reynolds now got her way, whether it was for Hillary's gain or not. You do know, of course, that Reynolds is a huge Hillary supporter. Maybe if she could have exposed Jeremiah Wright to the American public two years ago this whole Obama thing would never have derailed Hillary's dream? Come on, folks. Why – two years ago – would Barbara Reynolds be pushing Jeremiah Wright?

OBAMA'S GRANDSTAND FOR WHITES

After the Sean Bell verdict last Friday, Reverend Al Sharpton threatened to close down New York City. That's typical Sharpton. People protested in the streets all weekend long. And Barack Obama went on record saying that he didn't think the protestors needed to resort to violence to express their frustration. Uh oh. Big Al didn't like that. He has to fire back at Obama. So Al Sharpton says that he was disappointed in Barack Obama's words. A source for Sharpton told the New York Post that Sharpton hoped Obama would "side with the Bell family" and not use it as an "opportunity to grandstand in front of white people."

So Barack Obama says that there is no need for violent riots in the streets ... and this translates into him "grandstanding" for white people. Do you see this, folks? This is the kind of election we are going to experience. Everything that Barack Obama says or does is going to be interpreted by Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson or someone like them in terms of whether or not Obama is "grandstanding" for whites. We don't know which way this election is going to go. But one thing we have now learned: If Barack Obama becomes the next president of the United States we're going to have four years of constant race-based questions and accusations about everything Obama does or every criticism leveled against him. Barack takes an action that doesn't sit well with the race warlords, and he's grandstanding for whites. Whites criticize Obama for something he has done and they're racists. What fun that would be!

GLOBAL WARMING CAUSING AN AIDS EPIDEMIC

Here's a story that combines two of my favorite topics ... climate change and the AIDS "epidemic." A leading professor of health and human rights in Australia is warning that "global warming will indirectly make citizens of developing countries even more vulnerable to death and severe ill health from HIV/AIDS."

Hot weather, you see, makes people have unprotected sex.

Professor Daniel Tarantola says, "It was clear soon after the emergence of the HIV epidemic that discrimination, gender inequality and lack of access to essential services have made some populations more vulnerable than others."

He is now saying that climate change is going to affect those who were already dependent on survival economies. This is because climate change is going to trigger a chain of events which will increase the stress on society and this is going to result in high vulnerability to diseases including HIV.

Wait a minute ... I guess it is stress that makes you have unprotected sex.

It's a scam folks. Global warming ... the AIDS epidemic ... they are all just excuses for the redistribution of wealth around the world.

ANOTHER STELLAR GOVERNMENT SCHOOL TEACHER

Stephanie Ragusa...
I'd hit it
Er, no thanks
This one is just so fantastic that we had to bring it to you here in Nealz Nuze. Stephanie Regusa is 29 years old. She taught at a middle school in Tampa, Florida. The other day she was arrested for having sex with a minor. But that's not the end of the story ... this is the third time she has been arrested in just six weeks for having sex with a minor.

She was first arrested on March 13th for having sex with a Davidsen Middle School student who was 14 at the time. While she was sleeping with this teenager, she decides to strike up a relationship with another Davidsen Middle School student who was 15. I guess she started liking older men. So now she is discussing the big bang theory with two middle school students.

After she was suspended and then bailed out of jail for sleeping with the students, she was arrested for sleeping with one of the boys yet again. She had gone over to the boy's house to "discuss the criminal case" and ended up hitting the sack yet again with him. Detectives then arrested Regusa as she was leaving the boy's house and ... getting into her boyfriend's truck. Boy has that got to be a blow to the ego. Not only is your girlfriend cheating on you, but she is cheating on you with a middle school student.

Terry weighs in on the subject with this email:

Where the hell were all these cute female teachers when I was 15 years old? All I got were blousy old trouts! I'd have killed for a sexual relationship with a cute teacher. I think they should make it mandatory in Government schools. At least that way, you'd lean something useful by the time you graduate!

REDNECK SCRAP BOOK

If you're going to have a redneck party, you'll need the right beer cooler. More in the Redneck Scrap Book.

READING ASSIGNMENTS

President Bush is upset with Congress for pushing a farm bill that subsidizes multimillionaire farmers and does not respond to rising food prices.

Won't this be a pair ... Hillary Clinton is going to appear on "The O'Reilly Factor" tonight. What? He won't have me on, but he'll have Hillary on?

Barack Obama may be having a rough time right now, but it is still close to impossible for Hillary to win.

The unions have already started attacking John McCain ... this time it is about his healthcare policy and the fact that McCain doesn't think government is the answer to rising healthcare costs. To unions, you see, government is the answer to everything.

Well, there seems to be one Congressman calling for a Congressional review of biofuel policy ... that would be Senator James Inhofe.

The DNC's latest anti-war ad against McCain is catching a lot of flack for using images of soldiers being killed by IED explosions.

This isn't terribly shocking news ... the Pew Center found that young voters are mostly responsible for Democrats' recent gains. Isn't that great? The future of our country is resting on people who think they have the answer to everything. Barack Obama .. the American Idol candidate.

One in every 194 households received a foreclosure filing last quarter ... that's one-half of one percent my friends. Quick! Everybody panic!

You'll be relieved to hear that the UN is setting up a "top-level" task force to tackle the global food crisis. Oh fantastic! The UN is so great at solving problems.

Analysts project that the US population could triple to 1 billion by the year 2100.

A Congressman from Illinois has come up with the brilliant initiative of "There Oughta Be a Law" where his constituents get to create a law for him to propose to Congress. This could only end badly.

Iran has now glowingly published letters it received from US citizens apologizing to Ahmadinejad for the way he was introduced at Colombia University.

Saudi Arabia has devised a new way to handle men who dare flirt with women in public ... cut off their hair.

Two airline employees in Denver made a noose and showed it to a black co-worker. The airline's response ... step up diversity training. Why just not fire them and go on? Oh, wait. They might be union members.

Scientology has decided that it is going to launch its own channel of YouTube in order to "share the truth."

Just for grins .. how about an amazing video of a hole-in-on!

Of course, someone has pulled together a website to follow the antics of these student-molesting teachers.
