I put my trust in... God Government Myself

Wasn't this a nice little story to erupt over the weekend! Obama goes to some private fundraiser attended by some of San Francisco's social and liberal elite to denigrate the rural people of Pennsylvania. We learn that Obama thinks that these people are bitter .. . and their bitterness turns them toward God and guns. Now of course we're getting all kinds of hemming and hawing from Mr. ChangeWeCanBelieveIn about his statement .. but no denial.

There will be conversation about this one on the air. For my part, his statement fits perfectly into the liberal mindset, and remember that Obama is currently rated as the most liberal Senator in the U.S. Senate. These people actually believe that most Americans are miserable, and the reason that we're miserable is because they aren't running things. In Obama's elite liberal world, Americans turn to government instead of God. They derive their security from government, not from protecting themselves and their families. All that it would take for these people to be saved from their bitterness would be for them to learn to worship the God of big government.

YOUTUBE TEEN OUT OF JAIL

You can thank Dr. Phil's staffers for this one. The 8 teenagers that thought it would be real cool to beat up on some girl and then post the video on YouTube ... A bondsman says that a Dr. Phil representative posted the $30,000 bond for the ringleader, Mercades Nichols. See the video. Isn't that just wonderful? These idiot teenagers administer a beating so that they can post the video on YouTube and be famous ... then Dr. Phil comes along and helps the ringleader become famous beyond here imagination.

I can guarantee you that when this celebutwit wannabe found out she was going to be on the Dr. Phil show she started immediately imagining herself becoming really famous, possibly to the point of moving to Hollywood and becoming an actor or something. Who knows? Maybe a reality show? Don't laugh here .. you're thinking with an adult mind. This idiot isn't.

Well ... looks like some second thoughts here, probably because of pressure brought to bear by saner minds. The Dr. Phil show is now saying that bailing out the girl was a violation of show rules and that the show will no longer go forward with the girls' story.

IRAN DEFINITELY HAS PEACE IN MIND

Iran has been suspected of developing long-range ballistic missiles that would have the capability of reaching Europe. Well now the secret site where they are developing these missiles has been uncovered by new satellite images. They pinpoint a facility where Iran launched its "research rocket" in February, claiming that is was a part of its space program. Analysis of the photos show "intriguing features" that indicate to experts that this is the same site used for developing a ballistic missile with a range of about 4,000 miles. Examination of the site reveals that it is part of a large and growing complex "with very high levels of security and recent construction activity."

Now .. for goodness' sake ... let's not do anything rash here, like destroying this site with one well-placed cruise missile. After all ... as the loony left will tell you, Iran can develop all of the nuclear bombs it wants. It can then load those nuclear warheads on long range missiles that can reach London. They can then start screaming that London must be destroyed because some of the toilets in public restrooms point to Mecca. They can do anything they want and we can't respond militarily UNTIL they actually attack. That, my friends, is the "no pre-emptive war" philosophy of mindless liberals.

VISUAL SEXUAL AGGRESSION (Whatchu lookin at fool?)

Some candyass politicians in Maine have created a bill that would make it a crime to "peer at children in public." Rep. Dawn Hill, a Democrat (of course) from York, says that she wants to strengthen the crime of visual sexual aggression against children. [original statute | proposed amendment] She got involved after hearing the story of police being called to a local beach to deal with a man who seemed to be watching children entering community bathrooms. But the problem is, the state could not do anything about this man staring and watching ... committing this heinous crime of visual sexual aggression of a child in a public place. So now, this government twit wants to do something about it – make it illegal.

Under this bill, if someone is arrested for looking at children in a public place, it will be classified as a Class D felony if the child is 12 to 14 years old and a Class C felony if the child is under 12 years of age. The York Police Chief Doug Bracy says that this is only a minor change that will help keep the children safe. Bracy also says that "there is a growing outcry by the public to protect our children," particularly from all of those pesky tourists from all over America that visit York.

Much of this "growing outcry" is no-doubt from hysterical soccer moms. Just why is soccer so popular with parents? Because they think (though they may be wrong) that it is safer for their kids. They won't get hit. Nobody will try to tackle them. Nobody is throwing anything at them. They just run around a kick balls .. nice and safe for the soccer mom crowd.

This idiocy would have gotten me thrown in jail many many years ago. My daughter was around four years old. One day at home I accidentally walked into the bathroom while she was on the throne. "Daddy! Don't look!" I immediately apologized, got out and closed the door. A few weeks later we were at a local park. She wanted to use the bathroom so I accompanied her to the ladies room (mommy wasn't there) and told her I would wait outside. When we arrived there was a line ... so I stood there with her waiting. Suddenly .. in a voice that was far too loud, she says "Daddy, why do you look at little girls while they're going to the bathroom?" I could have crawled under a rock. Of course, in today's world I probably would have been arrested.

Why did I tell this story? Two reasons: To illustrate why laws like this moronic "visual sexual aggression of a child" law, are dangerously absurd, and to give the MediaMorons crowd something interesting to add to their anti-Boortz posts. Now they can say that I was once accused of "looking at little girls while they go to the bathroom." That would be par for the course for the moonbats at MediaMorons.loons.

CRACKING DOWN ON ILLEGALS

In Phoenix, Arizona the mayor and the police chief are at odds with one another over illegal immigration. In fact, the mayor is so upset with the crackdown on illegal immigrants that he has asked the FBI to investigate whether the county sheriff has violated any civil rights laws. He makes no mention, however, about the laws that were broken by the illegals who came to this country. The crimes committed by the soldiers of the Mexican invasion don't seem to bother Mayor Phil Gordon.

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio believes that mayor is completely disconnected from the people he represents. My guess is that the Sheriff has this one right. So now the Mayor is going to Washington to try and turn the public against the raids. The Arizona Ecumenical Council and American Jewish Committee have determined that the sheriff's patrols are evoking a "police state atmosphere" and detaining people on the basis of a racial profile and dehumanizing innocent people.

God forbid we should ever try to enforce the laws in this country.

WHILE WELCOMING ILLEGALS IN SAN FRANCISCO

As Phoenix tries to crackdown on illegal immigration, cities like San Francisco welcome illegals ... so much so that they are using tax payer money to fund an advertising campaign to tell the illegal invasion force just how much they are really welcome. The advertisements will come in English, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, and Vietnamese and will essentially give the same message: You are safe here.

The campaign will take the form of brochures, TV and radio commercials. San Francisco really wants to make sure they are comforted by the idea that they will not report illegal aliens to federal immigration authorities. Even more so, the TV and radio campaign will be focused on telling immigrants that they are safe to access government services (paid for by the people who actually pay taxes) including government schools, health clinics and the local police.

Let's hope that San Francisco gets what it truly deserves from this.

On the campaign trail, Michelle Obama seems to believe that government healthcare and government education will solve the problems of the families she meets.

Reverend Jeremiah Wright opened his flap this past weekend to tell us that America's founding fathers "planted slavery and white supremacy in the DNA of this republic." Well, at least he knew we are a republic and not a democracy. We'll give him that.

One of the cofounders of Greenpeace says that it is wrong for the organization to view nuclear energy as "evil."

California is going to be the brand new home of a $600 million global warming research center. Aren't you tax payers excited? In a few years they'll change it to a "climate change" research center. Give us a decade or two and it will be a "global cooling" research center. Follow the money, folks. This global warming nonsense is all about money.

A Democrat in California wants to raise taxes on beer sales by 1,500% in order to fund government healthcare services, crime prevention and programs to prevent underage drinking.

Finally, someone in the federal government has the gonads to say that government regulations aren't always the answer.
