THE "BOYS" ARE TOUGH ON HIS WIFE? Would someone please give us a big-time break here? Bill Clinton had a few things to say yesterday in Charleston, S.C., about the treatment his "wife" has been getting from the other MoveOn Democrat candidates. He said "those boys have been getting tough on her lately." Surely he can't be serious. He's actually complaining because these "boys," as he calls them, have been tough on Hillary? If I may be so intemperate as to ask a simple question, do you think that these "boys" have been tougher on Hillary than you have been? You want to talk about being "rough" on your wife? Let's do a short review: We'll start with a few names: Gennifer Flowers, Dolly Kyle Browning, Then there's Monica Lewinsky, Juanita Broaddrick, Kathleen Willey and Paula Jones --- plus goodness knows how many more. These are just the names of some of the women Bill Clinton either assaulted or has had affairs with during his so-called "marriage" to Hillary. So Bill calls it "getting rough" when Hillary's campaign opponents question her flip-flopping on the issue of driver's licenses for illegals, or make statements about Hillary's planted questions (see next item) during campaign stops. That is "getting rough" on the lady ... while having multiple affairs and being a serial sexual harasser including at least one rape is not? If putting your "wife" in charge of cleaning up after multiple affairs and assaults isn't "being rough on her," then what, pray tell, is? The fact is that Hillary Clinton has been engaged in a fraud marriage for decades ... a marriage born out of a desire for political power rather than an endearing love and dedication. The problem here isn't that the "boys" are being rough on Hillary, or that Hillary and Bill are playing the gender card in this primary ... the problem is that we have a woman who has conspired with her husband to disgrace the institution of marriage trying to pass herself off as a loyal wife and dedicated mother in order to appeal to women to whom the institution of marriage actually means something. The real question here is why various pundits and columnists don't step up and call the Clinton marriage what they and everybody else knows full well it is ... a fraud and a sham. When I give speeches I love to tell people that one of the greatest status symbols one can acquire in this country is a long-term marriage. You can't buy one, and you can't inherit one. You have to work for it ... day after day. There are times you'll want to quit; times you think things are looking grim. Stick to it, recommit yourself, and you'll get there. When I say this to an older group they invariably applaud. When I say it to a younger group (those students at the University of Georgia a week ago, for instance) they just sit there. That's fine. They'll learn. It disgusts me that these two people continue to engage in this phony marriage of theirs while the media just plays along. The institution of marriage in this country is to be valued and defended, not made a mockery by two people engaged in a political alliance with a dedication to one, and only one thing ... power. "IT WAS NEWS TO ME" What a crock. This is what Hillary Rodham had to say about the disclosures that her staff was planting questions in the audiences at her campaign appearances. When asked about the planted questions she came up with that absurd "It was news to me" comment. Pardon me .. but horsecrap. Hillary is a control freak. There is nothing that goes on in her campaign that she doesn't know about. She is in complete and absolute control .. and her staffers operate in such fear of her legendary temper that they wouldn't dare plant a question in the audience without her prior approval and blessing. Hillary Clinton is an accomplished pathological liar. We're just going to have to hold out hope that the voters figure that out before it's too late. MOVEON DEMOCRATS Democrats have appointed their new soft-money man, expected to build a colossal independent money machine to elect a Democrat in 2008. And who did they choose to head their campaign? Washington's director of MoveOn.org Tom Matzzie. You may know Matzzie for his hand in the "Betray Us" ad that ran in the New York Times. That's quite a guy the Dems have chosen. He has left his job at Moveon.org. Matzzie will be running a $100 million plot that centers around "issues and character." He was hired just two weeks after the largest donors in the Democratic party got together in Washington to discuss where they will put their money in the '08 race. He will head an organization, which will advise 527 groups on how to spend their money to help the Democrats. These 527s are groups named after a section of the tax code that allows them to influence elections so long as they disclose their donors and expenses. OK ... why is this a big deal? Remember, several months ago MoveOn.org bragged that they "owned the Democrat(ic) Party." Well, now it looks like they've made good on their boast. MoveOn.org wants to run a major part of the Clinton/Democrat fund raising ... when MoveOn.org says "jump," Democrats ask "how high?" IRAN'S VICES Iranian police have published a list of vices as part of a police drive to arrest "thugs", raid underground parties, seize satellite dishes, and street check improperly dressed individuals. Some of these vices include makeup, un-Islamic dress and decadent movies. The list fights against extortionists and drug dealers. It also fights against "inappropriate clothing," which it characterized as short, tight or see-through. "Wearing boots with short pants, wearing hats or scarves which do not fully cover hair and neck instead of the proper head veil. Putting on unusual make-up that contradicts public chastity (is forbidden)," the list said. It also says, "Wearing Western-style clothes and insignias of deviant groups (usually a reference to referring to Satanists or rappers ... and probably Methodists)," was on the list alongside "production and distribution of decadent movies as well as private home-made videos." Police say this moral crackdown popular with the public. Yeah, riiiiiight. Every day I just love the peaceful, serene, loving and serene religion of Islam more and more. What warm and fuzzy people! CONGRESS' NEW FIGHT This Democrat controlled congress just can't get its work done. A new record has now been set in delaying appropriations bills. Though congress can't get the real work done, they sure have time to address college students downloading stuff from the Internet. Here is a bill that currently in the Congress. This legislation says that if colleges don't police their networks and do what the Recording Industry Association of America wants, then the colleges will lose their federal funding. So now, colleges must divert resources to buy its students Napster ... just so they can hang on to millions of dollars worth of Pell grants. In other words, the federal government says that you will hand over names of students engaged in illegal downloading to the recording industry, or the entire campus loses its federal funding. It's amazing what you can push through Congress with a little bit (or should I say, a ton) of money and lobbyists. But wait a minute ... think of the outcry when Congress wanted to withhold federal funding for schools that did not allow military recruiters. Boy did that cause an uproar. But when it comes to the music industry, I guess nobody sees the harm. UK BANNING BURKAS A group of councilors in Great Britain are proposing their staff be banned from wearing a burka and niqab. Calderdale Councilor Allen Clegg demands that staff be banned from wearing religious Muslim dress because "it intimidates people." He then went on to associate the Muslim full body veil and cloak with the outfits worn by the KKK. The proposal is going before a group called the Equality and Community Cohesion Group. In other words, a feel-good group that serves absolutely no useful purpose whatsoever. Clegg says, "We want to be an inclusive council but at the same time need to question whether clothing like this can restrict that inclusivity and cause problems with understanding." Of course, the Muslims have something to say about this. Amjid Mahmood, the secretary of the Muslim Association of Calderdale says that Muslims will protest if the ban goes into effect. (There's a real surprise.) He says, "If a person wishes to express their faith through dress, which causes no harm to anyone, then for the council to approve such action would be an infringement of their rights." It's really hard not to side with the Muslims on this one. AUSTRALIA'S GOVERNMENT HEALTHCARE How about a few horror stories ... just so we can get a taste of our future! In Australia, health reports show cockroaches crawling on operating tables during surgery. In one case, an operating table was so old that it collapsed with an unconscious patient on top. The patient survived only because the doctor was able to catch him before he fell too hard. How about high-pressure hoses exploding and injuring nurses. Or a woman having a miscarriage in the bathroom of the hospital's emergency room. These stories were revealed at a New South Wales parliamentary inquiry into the Royal North Shore Hospital. The submissions came from a senior orthopedic specialist who finally quit after 16 years in disgust with the conditions of the hospital. The hospital tried to contract cleaners to come and fix things up before a tour by the parliamentary committee, but everyone saw right through it ... government healthcare is nothing but bad news. Procedures at this hospital already cost $400 more than neighboring hospitals, and bed availability is a continuing problem. The hospital is already over budget, even though it received a $9.5 million increase this year. Almost $10 million folks ... and nothing has come from it. That's government for you. Aren't you excited about government health care coming to America? BILL NIGUT IS BACK! Bill Nigut is the Southeast Regional Director of the Anti-Defamation League. He used to be a political reporter for our sister television station. I'm told that Nigut had some things to say about me in a recent column or story that appeared in Mundo Hispanico, an Hispanic newspaper published in Atlanta, Georgia. I spent a good bit of time last night trying to get the Mundo Hispanico page to load ... but could not. I finally got a translation through some weirdness called "Babel Fish." There I found Nigut saying: " ... the behavior of other people, such as radio commentator Neal Boortz, has led to Georgia in creating a climate of distrust toward Hispanics in general, particularly toward Mexicans." Nigut and I go back quite a way ... 15 years or so. We used to get along, but that all changed when I mentioned on the air one day that I was going to stop my subscriptions to the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta. My complaint was that the offerings of the Alliance Theatre were too racially charged .. and I was getting rather tired of the preaching. Well, it seems that Nigut had some sort of a relationship with the person who was handling the publicity for the Alliance Theatre at the time .. and took great umbrage at my remarks. Things went downhill from there. Nigut used to regularly pigeonhole the management of my home radio station to tell them that I really needed to be removed from the air due to the fact that I was such an embarrassment to the company. On one occasion he cornered the station manager in the parking garage to tell him that he had found it necessary to criticize the station in a speech at some synagogue because they carried my show. The manager told Nigut that frankly, he didn't care what Nigut had said in his speech. The relationship worsened when I used tapes of one of George Bush's State of the Union speeches to illustrate how Nigut, with the use of creative editing, attempted to present the reaction to Bush's speech in a false light during an evening newscast. Oh yeah ... I really know how to make friends, don't I? So .. now I'm creating a climate of distrust toward Mexicans? And just how am I doing that? By asking that our immigration laws be enforced? Well ... excuse the hell out of me! Does Bill Nigut want to take me on again? Has he decided to use his position with the Anti-Defamation League to go on a few anti-Boortz diatribes? Is this what the ADL is paying him for? Keep at it, Nigut. I knew one of your ADL predecessors, Stew Lewengrub. Trust me, you're no Lewengrub. If you want to use your position with the ADL to reignite your petty little campaign against me, bring it on. You're employers are about to get their money's worth. READING ASSIGNMENTS: Republicans say that Fred Thompson will be endorsed by the National Right to Life Committee. BFD. Let's face it; Thompson has been a massive disappointment. Give me Huckabee. The Hillary Clinton machine seems to know how to manhandle the press .. and the press seems to love it! Since this article comes from The New Republic, you just know they had to place the ultimate blame on George Bush. That's because they couldn't figure out a way to blame global warming. Here's your global warming scare story of the day. Some U.N. official seems to be hinting that ignoring (gasp!) global warming could be a crime! The US military has started to reverse the troop increase in Iraq. Income inequality in the United States? Here's the real story. And Hillary is now focusing on her "passion" to get things done and help people. That's a load of footstools. Hillary's "passion" is acquiring power. Iran's Ahmadinejad says that critics of his nuclear policies are "traitors" and accused them of spying for Iran's enemies. Would someone please bomb this jerk soon and get it over with? American officials say that they will back a new UN document that makes governments and businesses spend billions of dollars a year to reduce global warming. Now that's what I call leadership! Remember, global warming is a scam. Period. Here's a global temperature chart from one of the top climatologists and a top meteorologist ... I'm sure Al just forgot this one in his slideshow. Lamestream media report. According to CBS' Bob Schieffer, favoring limited government means that you are "anti-government." I guess this means that you either accept the amount of government that the MoveOn Democrats want to give us, or you're just anti-government. This is for those of you out there who buy into those email scams. A radio station in Arizona has its sombrero in a wad because the police used the word "Hispanic" to describe a rapist. Instead they want to call him "dark skinned." It's all about "racial profiling." I'll give you time to toss your breakfast before the next reading assignment. Ready? Everything all cleaned up? Onward! ........ A new report shows that one-fifth of children are kept inside due to "dangers" in the neighborhood. And you wonder what is contributing to the wussification of America. This is also why so many mothers have their precious little kids playing soccer. Nobody throws anything at them, an they won't get hit. Government school officials in Illinois are going to hire an independent auditor to try and find out why high school students are testing at an all-time low on achievement exams. Call me. I'll do it for half whatever the auditors are charging, and it will only take a few minutes. Prince Alwaleed bin Talal is buying a $300 million "flying palace." The 6,000 square foot plane could include: private bedrooms, a movie theater or even a gym with a Jacuzzi. I get all excited just thinking of the carbon footprint this character is going to create flying to Nice for some shopping. You go Prince! Whatever happened to those dogs seized from Michael Vick's property? Here's an uplifting news story for you. An "Anonymous Friend" donated $100 million to the Erie Community Foundation in Erie, Pennsylvania. Women ... hosting Taser parties?? Where's my invite! Flowers don't work, maybe a taser will. |
