Wednesday -- April 5, 2006 RACIST HOUSE SPENDING RULES SNAG MCKINNEY Perhaps you didn't know it, but using taxpayer funds for political fundraising is against the rules of the U.S. House of Representatives. It now seems that Cynthia McKinney took $1000 from her congressional office budget to fly Isaac Hayes to her district last year. He was there to be the headliner at a political fundraiser for McKinney. Cynthia McKinney has broken the law. Now it looks like McKinney is going to have to pay that money back somehow. Obviously, this rule is racist. It was put in place to nothing more than to harass black female members of congress and to prevent them from using taxpayer funds to fly black singers to fundraising events. The ugly specter of racism rears its ugly head in America, the land of white privilege, yet again. RACIST DEMOCRATS SAY MCKINNEY A DISTRACTION The Hill, a Washington D.C. political newspaper that bills itself "The Newspaper for and about the U.S. Congress" reported yesterday that many Democrats in the congress are now saying that Cynthia McKinney has become a distraction. An aid to one Democrat office holder says "There's been a lot of eye-rolling." A Democratic strategist adds: "This isn't the view of Democrats that we want to project in the tough races, one of victims and race-baiting." The Hill reports that McKinney elicits strong opinions, even within the Democratic caucus. Obviously these Democrats are closet racists. The accusation that a black female causes a "lot of eye-rolling" is an obvious reference to Al Jolson's racist portrayal of eye-rolling black minstrels in his vaudeville act of years ago. Furthermore, the suggestion that McKinney, a clear and obvious of victim of intense racist hatred and discrimination for her entire life, is "race-bating" is a racist slur of the worst kind. Why can't we all just get along? RACIST HOUSE SENIORITY RULES DESTROY MCKINNEY RELATIONSHIP WITH PELOSI The Hill further reports that things aren't going all that well between House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Rep. Cynthia McKinney. It seems that when Cynthia was re-elected to the House in 2004 Pelosi refused --- not once, but twice --- to grant McKinney's request to reinstate her seniority. This, of course, was a blatantly racist move on the part of the minority leader, a move designed to keep the black sister down; a move designed to make sure this black female does not gain a position of respect and power in the congress. Pelosi obviously should be investigated. RACIST ATLANTA COPS HARASS BLACK MOTORISTS ON CYNTHIA MCKINNEY PARKWAY Reports are starting to surface that white cops have been seen giving traffic tickets to black motorists on Atlanta's Cynthia McKinney Parkway. These cops are clearly racists brutes who are obviously profiling black drivers. They're intentionally focusing on this particular street because it is named for Georgia Democrat Cynthia McKinney. Something just has to be done about these racist cops on the Atlanta police force. Before you know it they will be pulling black motorists out of their cars and clubbing them. SPINNING DELAY'S DEPARTURE
It's quite interesting to watch the media and the Democrats spin Tom DeLay's decision not to run for re-election to Congress this fall. The mainstream media would love you to think that this is bad news for Republicans. Perhaps not! Some Republicans are doing cartwheels up and down Pennsylvania Avenue right about now. Why? Because just like when Newt Gingrich stepped down several years ago, a lightning rod has been removed. Democrats are now being deprived of their bogeyman. DeLay had been in the news for all sorts of reasons...none of them good. His resignation takes him out of the headlines. So while Democrats did take him down, Republicans are relieved to see him go.
And what of the Democrats? Even though DeLay was their target, they didn't want him to leave so soon. Now they don't have someone they could run against nationally this fall. Their muddled message will become even less clear. If they want to rail against the 'culture of corruption,' who are they going to use as an example? DeLay's gone...well, there is Randy Cunningham, but he's sitting in jail.
So in the end, the Democrats scored a hit...but they hit the bulls eye a little too soon. Republicans couldn't be happier. It's a win-win situation, with the left winning a little less than the right. By this November, nobody will be talking about Tom DeLay and he'll be ancient history.
SENATE DEADLOCKED ON ILLEGALS
Members of the Senate are lamenting the fact that they can't get anything done on illegal immigration. There isn't the votes to pass George W. Bush's "guest worker program" (really just amnesty for illegal aliens.) So what to do?
How about just enforcing existing laws? We're supposed to be a government of law, aren't we? Well ... enforce the law! It is against the law to break into the United States by sneaking across the border. How about taking the proper actions to tighten the border and throw the lawbreakers out? There are any number of ways this could be accomplished. A wall, a fence, barbed wire, more agents with guns and so on. Keep them out, out, out.
As for the 11 million or so that are already here? That's easy. Here's how you handle them: 1. Increase and then enforce the penalties for employers to carelessly or knowingly hire illegal aliens. Make the punishment so harsh that the practice of hiring illegals will virtually cease. In other words, tell corporate America that they are bound by are laws just like the rest of us. 2. Withhold all social services to people who are in this country illegally. The only exception would be emergency medical care and, of course, police protection. No welfare, no non-essential health care, no education .. nothing. The idea here is to yank the welcome mat. Make America a paradise for those who enter illegally, and a miserable experience for those who don't. Reward the behavior we want, punish the behavior we don't want. What we don't need is more government legislation. The laws are there...enforce them.
JESSE JACKSON'S LATEST CAUSE
It must be pretty hard being Jesse Jackson. The Sloganmaster has to sit around in his office...paid for by extorting corporations, by the way...and dream up new ways to get into the headlines. So now he has declared his latest cause: the well-being of Barry Bonds.
That's right...the same Barry Bonds that plays Major League Baseball for the San Francisco Giants and earns $18 million a year. The same Barry Bonds that a new book accuses of lying to a grand jury, tax evasion and using massive amounts of steroids. Yup..that's the dude. Poor poor pitiful Barry Bonds.
It seems the fans have decided to make fun of Bonds. Somebody threw a syringe on the field the other day. While throwing things on the field is not cool by any stretch, it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. By the way .. .there was no needle. But Jesse is concerned.
The Sloganmaster says MLB is failing to protect Bonds and the San Diego Police should be investigating who threw the syringe. Jesse actually said the fan should have been arrested. This could mark the first time Jesse Jackson is advocating the arrest of anyone for anything.
I'm sure before it's all said and done, Jesse will have Major League Baseball providing sensitivity training to all its employees. In exchange for a contribution to the Rainbow Coalition, of course.

Cynthia McKinney is making everyone unhappy. Reportedly, House Democratic leaders, including Nancy Pelosi, are furious with her for stealing the limelight away from Republican problems on the Hill.
Mother Theresa has to be spinning in her grave....at several thousand RPM's....as a movie director says he wants Paris Hilton to play her in an upcoming film. Somewhere somebody is about to be struck by lightning.

Perky Katie Couric is leaving NBC for CBS and is announcing it this morning on the 'Today' show. She reportedly took less money for the newer gig. She'll be the first solo female anchor on the evening news. Of course, not having to get up at 5 in the morning might have something to do with it.
Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani is predicting another terror attack. He's right...there will be one. Too bad no one is listening, however. The question is not if, but when.
Tom DeLay is taking some shots at the Republican leadership on the way out...and he's right. He says there's no agreed-upon message and that the GOP is giving Democrats too much power.
Tony Blankley says don't mistake the Tom DeLay resignation as any sort of good news for the Democrats....they're actually very disappointed. He also says Republicans are very relieved.
The Poodle says it's time to set a deadline to leave Iraq. While that would probably be a disaster, in the interest of being fair and balanced, here is John F. Kerry's op-ed in the New York Times.
When John Stossel broadcast his '20/20' piece on the hideous condition of government schools, teacher's unions protested...telling him he should teach for a week. He accepted their offer, but it will never happen. Too bad.
With the debate on illegal immigration raging, it's easy to lose sight of the real problem. Rich Lowry explains that what we're really doing in letting all of the illegal aliens in is importing Latin America's poor.
Michelle Malkin says Democrats in Congress are staying noticeably quiet over the whole Cynthia McKinney debacle. Don't they support the Capitol Hill police? The Wall Street Journal has an idea of how the Republicans can get their mojo back. By the way, so do I. |
