NEXT STOP ON THE BOOK TOUR...FAIRHOPE, AL! Tonight we're at the Page & Palette bookstore in Fairhope, Alabama, right outside of Mobile and my high-school hometown of Pensacola, Florida!  NARAL PULLS THE AD
After several prominent pro-choicers came out and condemned NARAL's ad bashing Supreme Court nominee, they finally did what they had to do: they pulled the ad. Kaput. Gone. No more. Why did they pull it?
Because the ad was a lie. An outright falsehood. 100% a fabrication. The ad accused John Roberts of defending an abortion clinic bomber. Of course, what they didn't mention was that John Roberts would've had to have had a time machine...his legal brief was written 7 years before the bombing took place. Oops.
Nobody is really talking about this, but the real organization with egg on its face over this is CNN. CNN announced, with much fanfare, that they had reviewed the ad and agreed to run it. Who reviewed it....Bozo the clown? Anybody with a single, functioning brain cell could see that the ad was false.. I mean, there wasn't even a grey area on this one.
Must've been the $125,000. Perhaps things are getting a bit pinchy down at the CNN Center.
FAMILY DISOWNS CINDY SHEEHAN
 Yesterday, President Bush came out and acknowledged Cindy Sheehan and said that he wasn't going to pull the troops out of Iraq. Sadly, this will not stop avowed media whore Mrs. Sheehan from maintaining her vigil outside Bush's Crawford ranch. She says she will continue to hold her protest at the White House in Washington.
Finally, however, her family has had enough. Some of the Sheehan family issued the following statement to the Drudge Report yesterday, regarding her actions:
"The Sheehan Family lost our beloved Casey in the Iraq War and we have been silently, respectfully grieving. We do not agree with the political motivations and publicity tactics of Cindy Sheehan. She now appears to be promoting her own personal agenda and notoriety at the the expense of her son's good name and reputation. The rest of the Sheehan Family supports the troops, our country, and our President, silently, with prayer and respect.
Sincerely,
Casey Sheehan's grandparents, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins."
Looks like what's really going on here is that Cindy Sheehan has a few screws loose and her family knows it. Perhaps that would explain the complete 180 she did from last year, when she was praising President Bush, to this year, when she was bashing him.
But never fear..the media will give her all the coverage she wants.
ATTACK ON 9/11/05?
 The FBI says Al-Qaeda may attempt to use fuel trucks as weapons to attack L.A., New York and Chicago on the fourth anniversary of 9/11. That would be 9/11/05, which is just a month away. Not very comforting if you reside in those cities, is it?
What's more alarming is this is a very specific threat, including data on the time, place and method to be used. There will be some that won't take this threat seriously. They'll stick their heads in the sand, pretend that there's no such thing as Islamic terrorism and try to convince us all that the FBI is just making all of this up in order to justify its anti-terror budget or something.
But what if they're right? Since 9/11, the appeasers on the left have been blaming the government for not doing enough to stop the attacks. Now that they're actually doing something about it and giving us the information when they get it, people don't like that either.
The warning says that Islamic terrorists are seeking to hijack gasoline or oxygen tankers and ram them into gas stations to cause major explosions. All in the name of Allah, of course. So as 9/11/05 approaches, perhaps the next time you see a tanker truck rolling down the highway, you might peek behind the wheel, just to be on the safe side.
Is it the real driver, or a jihadist on his way to incinerate innocent people so he can meet up with his 72 virgins? 70,000 airline passengers in England are stranded because of a dispute between a catering company and its staff. The baggage handlers joined in when the catering company fired its workers. 1,000 people spent the night last night in Heathrow Airport. Man that sucks.
A lobbyist has been indicted on fraud charges. Since this lobbyist knew Tom DeLay, that means Tom DeLay was indicted too. Of course, that's the way the media sees it.
Heads continue to roll in the funding scam over at Air America. Two more people at the charity that made the loans have quit. Really, couldn't the radio network could have just gone to the bank? How about selling some commercials?
Some of the 9/11 widows are circling the wagons to protect former Deputy Attorney General Jamie Gorelick...they're actually blaming Janet Reno. Interesting.
The media and the Democrats are starting to talk a lot about activist conservative judges. Is there such a thing? Well, there was the Schiavo matter. David Limbaugh says don't believe it. Atlanta weekly Creative Loafing has something nice to say about Neal. What's that? I think hell is freezing over. Heather's Reading Assignments Waiter there's a drink in my fly! Now to extract the gene from the fruit fly and inject it's cells into humans... That is one cell transplant I think we could all appreciate. If he likes to 'recover naturally' so much, then why do we want to give a hater a new heart? Sure he may need one... but who gets to pay for it? They show you what they want you to see , regardless of truth. But we knew this. If you can't tell that you are boring the person on the other line and they don't hang up or fall asleep, it really isn't your fault. At least now your phone can tell you how dull you are, and then pass the message on to the person you called.
