OUR ANNUAL "CARE-A-THON"
Today and tomorrow The Neal Boortz Show will be broadcasting from the AFLAC Cancer Center at Atlanta's Children's Hospital. It's our third annual "Care-a-Thon" to raise money for the treatment and care of young children from around the nation suffering from childhood cancer and blood disorders. The show will sound almost normal (as if we ever sound normal) except that you'll hear an occasional plea for you to send in a few bucks. Just think .. if every Boortz listener sent just one dollar ... it would be millions!! Do you have a dollar to spare for a young child suffering from cancer? You can click on this link to make a donation. Please ...

NEW OVERTIME RULES
Just the first chapter of the new rules on who does and does not get overtime pay is 159 pages long. That's just Chapter One. Now we have the Imperial Federal Government of the United States telling private businesses which workers it must pay overtime to and which workers it doesn't have to pay overtime to. It is going to cost U.S. businesses millions of dollars to try to figure out and to implement these new regulations. Why should it? In fact, why should the federal government be involved in this question in the first place? In a truly free country the worker and their employer would negotiate and reach an agreement relating to overtime. It's a basic part of economic liberty. Have you ever heard of any matter being made easier through government "clarification"? Neither have I. This is just more of the same. ONE MAN, ONE VOTE....IN TWO PLACES
This should not come as a surprise. In an exclusive, The New York Daily News is reporting that some 46,000 New Yorkers are registered to vote in both New York and Florida. It's against the law, but it happens all the time because officials don't investigate across state lines.
Think about that....46,000 potentially fraudulent ballots. Bush won Florida by 537 votes in 2000. What's worse? Of the 46,000, 68% are Democrats. Adding insult to injury, at least 1,700 of those that vote both places actually have absentee ballots from the other jurisdiction mailed to their home.
The 2004 Democratic voter fraud machine is already gearing up.
KERRY CAN'T TAKE IT
Let me begin this bit by addressing those of you who are getting fed up with this presidential election. I'm with you. There are so many issues we could be concentrating on in a presidential election. We could be discussing Social Security reform and explaining to the black men of this country that, on the average, each and every one of them will see about $10,000 of their life's earnings seized for redistribution to an old white woman. We could have presidential candidates with competing ideas of tax reform. I, for instance, yearn for the last election when I could in good conscience propose support for the Libertarian candidate. Then, of course, there's the war on Islamic terror. That's why I'm not supporting the Libertarian candidate this year. Nothing -- no issue -- is more important than protecting our country, our people and our economy from the deadly designs of Islamic radicals. There is no doubt which candidate is more willing to seek these Islamic terrorists out and destroy them. George Bush has shown through his actual leadership that he is willing to do what it takes to seek out and destroy Islamic terrorists and the regimes who support them. John Kerry? He talks about giving the United Nations veto power over U.S. troop deployments and setting a specific date for withdrawal from Iraq. OK ... back to being fed up with the tenor of this election. Just remember ... it was John Kerry, not George Bush, who decided that this election would be all about his service in Vietnam. In 1992 when we had a Democratic draft dodger running for president Kerry was saying that the presidential election should not be about who served and who didn't. Then when he decided to run it was ALL about who served. John Kerry didn't make one single campaign appearance during the primaries where he didn't highlight his tour of duty in Vietnam. Then, of course, there was that goofy "reporting for duty" salute at the convention. Kerry set this table, now he doesn't want to eat at it. Yup ... Mr. Vietnam War Hero ... the man who will turn his PCF into withering enemy fire to rescue a colleague, is now showing that he can't handle someone telling their version of Kerry's Vietnam exploits to the American people. This man who wants to be president of the United States is actually asking the very government he wants to lead to use force to prevent critics from stating their case. He wants the Federal Election Commission to order the Swiftees to pull their ads. The adds, according to Kerry, are from the same people who tried to do this to John McCain a few years ago? Oh really? These Swiftees were campaigning against John McCain? I don't think so. The Kerry camp seems to be in a spot of panic. The Poodle's handlers know that to minimize the damage they have to discredit the Swiftees. That shouldn't be a problem, should it? Doesn't John Kerry have quite a bit of experience when it comes to trashing Vietnam Vets? Well ... John Kerry has experience along those lines -- discrediting Vietnam vets? And something else....where are the Texas Air National Guard Vets For Truth? Can you imagine the media reaction if there was a veteran's group from Texas that was opposing Bush? They'd get the red carpet treatment from the media.....whereas now the media is ignoring and bashing the Swift Vets. Media bias at its finest. Observe, please ... the media focus on the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth has been more on investigating who is funding them rather than investigating what they are saying FACT: The Kerry Campaign continues to question President Bush's service in the Texas Air National Guard. The Bush Campaign has never questioned Kerry's service in Vietnam.

HERE COMES THE NEXT AD ... THIS ONE FROM KERRY
Today the Kerry campaign will release a new television ad accusing the Bush campaign of using a front group to attack Kerry. There is absolutely no evidence that the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth are operating as a front group for Bush. What do the Democrats have? They have a homebuilder in Houston who has contributed $200K to the Swiftees and who was once invited to visit the governors office. This is their evidence? And on the other side of the equation, we have the Hungarian financier George Soros who has pledged tens of millions of his personal wealth to defeat Bush. Soros is the one who funds Moveon.org and The Media Fund, the folks who put those anti-Bush ads on television. I guess the Swiftees are agents of the Bush campaign, and Moveon.org is a charitable group, right? THE QUESTION ABOUT ENEMY FIRE
Enemy fire? Now we do know that the Viet Cong were rather adept at killing Americans. They did it over 50,000 times. So would someone please tell me how in the world the Cong can be firing on five boats, one of them disabled, from both sides of the river and not wound one single sailor. How does that happen? How many officers were there in that action? Six, I believe. And out of those six officers only ONE said that there was any enemy fire. Just one. That officer was John Kerry. There was only one officer who wrote a report saying that there was any enemy fire. Just one. That officer was John Kerry. And remember ... we have a consistent course of conduct here. Remember Kerry's first purple heart? Same controversy. Kerry says he was wounded by enemy fire. Crewmates on that boat said there was no enemy fire. Kerry's commanding officer says there wasn't enemy fire. You see it? A pattern, folks. Kerry gets involved in an action where he, and very few others, see enemy fire. Then he ends up with a medal. Even the staunchest Bush-hater can't be comfortable with the way this picture is unfolding.

WE'LL KEEP YOU ABREAST OF THIS SITUATION
It's getting a bit ridiculous out there folks. According to The Drudge Report, Janet Jackson is saying that the Bush White House used her boob to distract the American people from Iraq. This brings to mind two interesting apparent facts. - The White House has some sort of control over Janet Jackson's Boob.
- Michael Copp, the Democrat FCC member who raised all the FCC fuss over Janet's boob is actually working for the Bush White House.
Some of these entertainers are pure idiots. AN INTERESTING LETTER CIRCULATING IN FLORIDA
| Power Companies Warning from Florida It's been a week here in Florida since Hurricane Charley. My workplace got electric power back Wednesday by a crew from Georgia Power. My new job at a small business employer is getting tax relief, so I got paid for the days I couldn't work. No lost wages is pretty cool. My home power was restored a day later by a power company from somewhere while I was at work. Power companies from more than eight states have poured into hurricane ravaged Florida according to a local newspaper. I have seen power workers from Georgia, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Texas, West Virginia, and Ohio. I was giving everyone with these power crews I saw a big thumbs up. And praising them, until someone told me the awful truth. I didn't believe it at first. But the truth is right there to be seen by everyone, once you know where to look. Our state is being criss-crossed by these huge electric power trucks and telephone pole haulers. Look on the backs of these trucks. They all have Bush-Cheney bumper stickers on them. That's right. Our state is being invaded by President Bush Supporters, probably sent here by Halliburton. To get back the White House, we must hate President Bush, everything he does, everything he stands for, and everyone who supports him. These power company guys left their homes and wives to come here and spread lies. Their wives are now left in their home states to fend for themselves, so they don't care about women's rights. Don't go near these guys. Many have children left at home, so they are also anti-abortion. Spit on them. They probably make big money and pay little taxes. They are the future fat cats, evil conservatives, and religious nutballs. According to the new Michael Moore documentary being financed by the DNC, they are running secret wires to tap into the electronic voting machines. They are also putting in communication lines, so the military absentee ballots will count this time. What a great spokesman he is to be representing our Party. Listen to the truth from the DNC. "We must stop thinking of the individual and start thinking about what is best for the Democrat Party". We in Florida cannot be bought by low taxes. J F Kramer |
Remember the Prime Directive READING ASSIGNMENTS Now we have former Republican Senator Bob Dole is questioning John Kerry's Vietnam Purple Hearts. "But three Purple Hearts and never bled that I know of. I mean, they're all superficial wounds. Three Purple Hearts and you're out." You've heard me talking about Office Max's rubberband man? Click Here. There are about 46,000 people registered to vote in both New York and in Florida. This is a crime. These people, snowbirds, generally vote Democrat. Question: Do you think any of them will actually be charged? Americans are cheering for Europeans in basketball. Here's why. As for me? Thankfully I realize that there's more to life than heavy base and round balls. John O'Neill, author of 'Unfit for Command' has issued a challenge to The Poodle: If I'm wrong, sue me.
Even the mainstream media is admitting Kerry is in trouble. Here's a piece from Newsweek. Also, Joe Klein in Time says Kerry is in a straight jacket.
This is nice....government schools in Sacramento have banned any physical contact between school children during recess. More zero tolerance nonsense.
North Korean communist crazy Kim Jong-Il has called President Bush an "imbecile" and compared him to Hitler. At least now Moveon.org has somebody else on their side.
Did The Poodle spend Christmas in Cambodia? Michael Barone looks at the many contradictions of John Kerry, and says the character issue is important.
So why do both sides keep running so many negative ads? Because they work, as Jim Rutenberg and Kate Zernike explain.
The Poodle likes to talk about his 'Band of Brothers,' but as William Kristol explains, we're now hearing from his real Band of Brothers.
So how long did the mainstream media ignore Kerry's Christmas in Cambodia story? At least 10 or 11 days, says John Leo. Media bias? You be the judge.
Why are we talking about something that happened 35 years ago when there are more pressing issues to discuss? Because The Poodle brought it up, says Thomas Sowell.
So what is the real story behind President Bush's troop realignment plan? Robert Novak says it's related to base closures, and nobody is talking about it.
The Abu Ghraib hearings are starting in Germany, and naturally, it's front page news.
Here's a Marine's report from the front lines in Fallujah. Further proof that we just need to level the place to make our soldiers' jobs easier.
Joe Piscopo might run for governor in New Jersey....hey, he can't do any worse than the current occupant.
And now, the story of an Olympic sore loser...brought to you by Russia's Svetlana Khorkina. North Russia hosts a rafting tournament...on sex dolls. Too bad this sort of thing is probably illegal in Georgia, and 7 other states.
To continue our quest for bizarre or inappropriate Halloween costumes, how about this blue-balled monkey? [not safe for work] A blogger is trying to find the weakest endorsement of Alan Keyes. How about "We're going to support Alan Keyes and hope for the best." bugmenot.com is back!! Find out why it was down. |
