NEAL CHECKS IN!

Neal is apparently alive and well and enjoying his vacation. This morning he sent us a couple of pictures so you can see for yourself. I'm sure he'll share more when he can get a faster connection.

IS AMERICA SAFER? YOU BET

Do you think the world is less safe, more safe or about the same because of the war in Iraq?
less safe
more safe
about the same
A new CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll finds 55 percent of American feel less safe from terror because of the war in Iraq. This is a stupid answer to a stupid question. How can people possibly feel less safe because of the war in Iraq? The only explanation is either the poll questions are slanted and designed to produce a specific answer, or 55 percent of the people surveyed are complete idiots. And don't think for a second that the media doesn't slant polls to produce a left-leaning result favorable to Democrats. They write the story and then do the poll.

All facts point to an America that is more safe. Now, I realize facts are not a media specialty, but you'll just have to keep an open mind here. It is an irrefutable fact that Saddam Hussein was harboring terrorists. The world is more safe because that safe haven has been removed. It is a fact that Saddam Hussein possessed and used weapons of mass destruction. It is also a fact that Saddam Hussein was trying to build a nuclear device. The world is more safe because Saddam Hussein can no longer build that nuclear device and sell it to a terrorist.

Then you have the Saddam Hussein-Al-Qaeda connection. Now I know that makes the Michael Moore-worshipping UFO wing of the Democratic party upset, because they don't think there is a connection. Too bad, there definitely was. The world is more safe because Saddam Hussein is no longer providing safe harbor to Al-Qaeda terrorists.

So why do people think the world is less safe because of the war in Iraq? Because they're either misinformed, stupid, were educated in government schools, or they are willing to sacrifice national security in order to elect The Poodle.

Anyway, who makes you feel safer? A terrorist appeaser or a terrorist killer?

FILIPINO SURRENDER MONKEYS CUT AND RUN

Terrorists holding a Filipino hostage in Iraq have said they will release him if the government of the Philippines pulls out of Iraq. So naturally, you would expect that the Philippine government would follow in the footsteps of the United States, South Korea, Japan or other allies in refusing to negotiate with the terrorists. Well, unfortunately, they have chosen to take the appeasement route. They're cutting and running.

Just like the scaredy-cat Spanish surrender monkeys, they're caving into the terrorists. They are going to do what they're told by the Islamic terrorists holding one of their citizens captive. Too bad....looks like fewer and fewer countries are having the guts to fight the war on terrorism. Don't we help with fighting terrorism in the Philippines? Could be time to reevaluate that assistance now that they've joined the axis of weasels.

This is a shame because as more and more time drags on and 9/11 is fades from memory, people are losing the intestinal fortitude to fight the war on terrorism. People honestly believe that if we don't make them mad, they won't hurt us. After all, it must be our fault. The fact of the matter is Islamic terrorists must be killed. Terrorists must be exterminated before they kill more innocent people. All this pathetic display of weakness does is embolden the terrorists to continue killing more people.

As President Bush said, you're either with us or against us...and unfortunately the Filipinos have chosen to become appeasers. Too bad.

LOONY LEFT TAKES OVER NAACP

Yesterday, NAACP Chairman Julian Bond delivered a speech bashing the Republican party, accusing them of "playing the race card in election after election." This is interesting, because it is Democrats that play the race card in every election, not Republicans.

It is Democrats that insultingly pander to the black community, begging for votes in exchange for welfare spending and hiring quotas. Through the soft bigotry of low expectations, the NAACP and their masters in the Democratic party have become the new pimps in the black community. They want to keep everyone as dependent on government as possible.

Bond continued, further proving his own stupidity and intellectual bankruptcy by saying that the Bush tax cuts were put in place to "further enrich the already wealthy and to starve the government, making it unable to meet human needs." By that statement alone, Julian Bond is now an admitted Communist. After all, he believes it is the job of the government to meet the needs of the people.

Black folks would do well to ignore the NAACP entirely and pay more attention to what people like Bill Cosby, Thomas Sowell and Walter Williams have to say.

WHAT ARE THOSE 'BLOG' THINGS ANYWAY?

Now that bloggers will be given credentials to cover the Democratic National Convention resulting in national news coverage, some people are probably wondering what exactly is a blog. The Nuze is essentially just that. Commentary on current events. Links to stories for more information, etc. Here are a few more political type blogs from both sides of the political spectrum. (Yes, I'm being overly general. Don't bother writing to tell me that. --ww)

GUESTS THIS WEEK

Today, Court TV's Nancy Grace fills in for Neal. Wednesday & Thursday, Jay Severin is back to host a couple more Neal Boortz Shows.

READING ASSIGNMENTS

Radical protesters are already planning on creating a ruckus at the GOP convention at the end of August.  Some of their tactics include attacking and tricking the police.  How nice....now just who are the terrorists here?

One student is fighting back at the leftist indoctrination in his government school.  This shows there is still hope for America's youth.

This was easy to predict....somebody is now accusing President Bush of knocking down the World Trade Center towers.  This idiocy comes to us courtesy of a rap song on the #1 CD in the country.  Anybody who believes this is an empty-headed moron, and judging by the chart position, we have a lot of those.

Liberals are now forming their own faith-based groups to try and influence politics.  Here comes "the religious left."  Save yourselves.

The Poodle's campaign is doing its best to sweep Michael Dukakis under the rug.  The reason?  They don't want to be associated with another Massachusetts liberal who lost the presidency to a man named Bush.

Just in case you or someone you know has seen Fahrenheit 911 and are the slight bit swayed by the Bush-bashing pantload, John Lott and Brian Blase present some of Michael Moore's myths.

The left continues to peddle the accusation that "Bush lied."  David Limbaugh says not only is lying wrong, but so is lying about Bush lying.

Always nice when readers write in to columnists, and it's even better when they complain.  Professor Mike Adams takes on one such person.

Thomas Sowell looks at the supposed 'friends' of blacks, and wonders how people can truly be helping somebody when they're afraid to criticize poor performance.

Bill Cosby is still off the liberal reservation, and Star Parker is there with a full report.

President Bush has shunned speaking to the NAACP,  and rightly so, says Armstrong Williams.

An Iranian man who struck a suicide pact with his new bride over their guilt for having pre-marital sex is being held by police after he backed out on his side of the bargain...

WHAT THE HECK ARE THOSE POINTY HAND THINGS?
