STARTING MONDAY!

The Neal Boortz Show debuts in several new markets on Monday!  First .. we're on our way to Pittsburgh!  Starting Monday, January 5th, you'll hear Boortz on WPGB-104.7 FM  (formerly WJJJ-FM) from Noon until 3:00!  I can't tell you how proud Belinda, Royal and I am to be included in this hard-hitting lineup.  Spread the word!  Boortz is on the way with some insensitivity training for his home state of Pennsylvania! We're also starting Monday in the Santa Rosa - San Francisco area on 1350-KSRO from 9 to noon!  If this keeps up I'm going to have to stop calling myself America's best-kept talk radio secret.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Wasn't is just a few weeks ago that we were worrying what was going to happen when the now-infamous Y2K moment hit?  People were stocking basements with cash, water, bread and toilet paper in expectation of a world-wide calamity as soon as our computers faced the problem of dealing with the year 2000.  Now, suddenly, it's 2004.  My wife has an explanation of why time seems to accelerate. Let's say that you are ten years old today.  The last year represented one-tenth of your entire life.  But if you are 48 years old today the last year only represented one-forty-eights of your life. There ... now you know why each successive year seems to go by faster.

The best possible New Year's Resolution.  Simple .. I stole it from Og Mandino many years ago.  "Use wisely your power of choice."  The greates influences on the direction your life takes during this year will come from the choices you make every single day of our life.  Your lifestyle, your standard of living ... your very happiness or despair is a direct result of the cumulative effect of the choices that you make.  Every choice counts. Use them wisely.

WHO IS CAROL MOORE?

Carol Moore is one of the people pushing the "Boot Boortz" movement to get the Libertarian Party to boot me off of the convention speaking agenda in 2004.  But Carol Moore seems to be so much more than that.  Here's a recent posting From Carol More to a Yahoo chat group.  This posting was made last June ... well before the blatantly anti-Semitic Ms. Moore turned her sights on me.

Sharon would love to have Hamas killing American troops, just like he's delighted to see them killing Jews, since it makes his facist goals of "leibenstraum" and grabbing the rest of Israel that much easier by inflaming the public.

I'm getting tired of turning on the news first thing in the AM and seeing the TOP story is what is going on in Israel. And it disgusts me to have to watch a congressional sub-committee dominated by pro-Zionists reaming Bush for the TINY little bit he is doing to try to keep the Israelis from driving the Arabs out of what little is left of Palestine, which the goyim obviously dare not ask ANY question of the Bush official that might be interpreted as criticism of Israel. And we've seen how Bush is back to Kissing Sharon's Ass. (See my new collection of ANTI-BUSH and Busharon buttons http://www.carolmoore.net/buttons

And Mr. Sass wonders why this issue keeps coming up here.. If the Israel's just kept their oppression over there, it would be far less annoying.

Dealing with the nefarious influence of Israel Firsters on Congress and in the media (which is mostly owned and/or controlled by pro-Zionists, mostly Jews) has got to be a prime goal of the peace movement -- but good luck, with left and right wing pro-Zionists ready to yell anti-semite at the drop of a hat. Even the Buddhist Peace group I went to recently was dominated by pro-Zionist Jews. ARGHGH!!!

What really is a joke is that Howard Dean is running on a theme of "let's take America back" but he's already met with Sharon and has stated he agrees with Likkud polices. Of course, if he wins the pro-Israel anti-Democrats will be in a real tizzy since they'll want to attack him for foreign policy and go after his wife -- but his wife is Jewish (and doubtless very pro-Israel given her spouse's views) so they'll have to pull their punches.

Meanwhile Israel keeps building up it's 400 nuke arsenal and can now deliver them any where on earth.

Anyone else want to concentrate on nonviolent SECESSION from our Special Interest (corporations, labor union, military-industrial, Zionist) controlled government??

CM

Now .. if you want to read Carol's posting from the actual chat room .. here's your link.  I can't express how proud I am to have someone like Carol Moore opposing my appearance before the Libertarian convention.

And thanks to Gregory for these words of support:

"I'm of the opinion that most Libertarians are out of touch.  As a Libertarian for 30 years (I voted for Hospers for President) I don't understand the anti-war message they are sending. You and Larry Elder are the true torch bearers of Libertarian philosophy."

Another messsage, this one from Robert, echoes the sentiments of many:

"The Libertarian Party is making a huge blunder by taking such a myopic view.  It's pretty bad when you are too liberal to attract republicans and too conservative to pull any democrats.  The Party has effectively shut itself out to the majority of Americans.  If they changed this one view on the war they would immediately become more attractive to conservative republicans and democrats.  They still have a problem with immigration. 2004 should be the greatest opportunity the Libertarian Party has seen in years.  The democrats have nothing to compete with.  President Bush is the only show in town and he's pissed off a large segment of his base. The libertarians can make some adjustments to their platform to make themselves more attractive to a larger audience without compromising their values.  Unless they make some changes they will never be more than they are now."

And this from Indiana:

Mr. Boortz:  Keep up the good work and may your new year be better than ever.  Please show up at the convention. My fellow libertarians need a does of reality.  My friends here who work hard in the Indiana Party agree with you as do I. So I still belong to the Indiana party.  I will not however send a dime to the national party until they purge the leadership of the losertarians who are setting our party back decades by the childish view of world politics. VTY as a proud member of the Neal Boortz wing of the Liberatrian Party. BDMc

We'll close with this ... a note from Jeff Smith a Libertarian who is helping to circulate the petition to have me bounced off the speaker's list:

While circulating the petition, I've had some LP activists whom I respect a great deal express to me concerns about the intent of the petition.

It's been (very politely so far) suggested to me that those of us supporting the petition are holding rigidly to our own preferences and point of view, to the point of intolerance.

Is this really an issue that involves the right of free speech?

First of all, no one that I know of who had a hand in getting the petition together is afraid of Mr Boortz' views per se. Our concerns are purely strategic, having to do with the link-up in the public mind between these views and the LP.

I ask that those concerned with the free speech issue consider one simple truth.

The Libertarian Party is a voluntary membership organization, in which members have every right to influence the way our organization is presented to the public.

Naturally, those who disagree with the petition have that same right.

It's no different than a private corporation that has just hired a CEO. Suppose that this person absolutely refused to come to work in anything close to proper business attire, while treating prospective customers with outright disdain.

The stockholders would have every right to bring their concerns before the corporation's board of directors, and ask for the new CEO's dismissal.

Those opposing the petition may differ with petition supporters on what the definition of "proper business attire" should be for the LP, but they shouldn't try to make their case on the basis of a perceived violation of rights.

Once again.  Voters won't support a political party that won't protect them from the America's enemies.

PLEASE DON'T READ THIS

I'm serious.  Don't read this.  Though I'm including this in Nealz Nuze ... I don't want you to read it.  It's just too upsetting.  I'm just doing this for the typing practice.  Seriously ... don't read it.

I have a source .. who shall remain unnamed .. who from time to time feeds me some behind the scenes information on the goings-on inside the beltway and elsewhere.  I talked to this friend recently about Saddam Hussein.  We were commiserating on the apparent desire of so many of the Democrats to see things as they were in Iraq, not things as they are.  These Democrats are truly upset that Saddam has been deposed.

Now .. here's the part I don't want you to read.  It's about a particular type of torture that American officials have discovered was used by Saddam's goons in Iraq.  It's all very simple, really.  You get a piece of PVC piping .. say two inches in diameter.  You wedge a piece of cheese into the end of this pipe .. and Saddam's agents would take that PVC pipe, have their victim's pants removed, and then shove that pipe where the sun doesn't shine.  Then they would insert small rats into the open end of the pipe.  The rats would eat through the cheese ... and keep right on going.  In other words, the rats would start eating Saddam's victims from the inside.  This would continue until the poor SOB died of blood loss from internal bleeding.

There .. I told you not to read it.  But just in case you're not much for following instructions and read it anyway .. this is the man that Howard Dean wishes was still in power in Iraq.  No ... don't give me any flack on that statement.  If Dean was opposed to the action that ousted Saddam .. then that means he necessarily wishes Saddam was still in power.  Sorry, Deanie Babies.  You can't have it both ways.  Dean is sure he wants Bush out of power .. but he says it only "might" be a good thing that Saddam has been captured.  Oh .. and ditto for many libertarians, I'm sorry to say.

Yeah ... we want that guy as president.

READING ASSIGNMENTS

Michelle Malkin's list of the "Whiners of the Year."

This would be a very good list for you to read and digest.  Follow all the links within this piece to get the full picture.  It's a list of the top 10 stories of the year from Townhall.com.

Well ... it looks like all of this "they manhandled me" crap we've been getting from Michael Jackson and his family was just that ... bull squeeze.  Now the Santa Barbara County Sheriff has aired a video of Jackson's arrest.  The video ... actually two of them ... one from the car in which he rode to the airport, and the other at the police station, show no "manhandling."  There's Michael Jackson, singing and whistling .. and talking with police officers.

George Will says that the differences between the political parties is getting narrower ... especially regarding the role of the Imperial Federal Government in our lives.

Libertarian heroes of 2003.  No .. I wasn't mentioned.

Howard Dean telling intentional, gratuitous lies?  Naw, he wouldn't do that, would he?  Only George Bush lies, right?

Brave airport security screeners prevent tiny pet fish from boarding an airplane. God knows what damage this fish caused.

Some member of democraticunderground.com found out that his newfound girlfriend was a Boortz listener!  He went to his online friends to find out what I was all about.  He then decided to dump the girl for listening to me.  Here's your thread.
