YES ... WE'RE WORKING ON LABOR DAY
The do call it "Labor Day," don't they?
The Neal Boortz Show will air its regular hours today live. No "best of" or substitute hosts. Its a good chance to bring in some listeners who are in holiday mode and haven't heard the show before ... and a good chance for some general BS with our regular listeners. Tune it! It' beats whatever you'll find on the tube and you're tired of the relatives by now anyway. Who knows, maybe putting the Boortz show on every radio in your home will get them to leave just a little early.
THE ARROGANCE OF THE PLUNDERERS
Bobby Harris is a City Councilman in Alabaster, Alabama. It is this very city council that is using force to seize some property from its rightful owners so that the property can be turned over to a developer to build a shopping center. Bobby Harris has a statement printed in the latest newsletter from the City of Alabaster. Harris's statement is below just as it appeared in the newsletter:
Can you believe the arrogance of this man? He tells these property owners that he "warned them to get their property appraised." He says "Now the developers are here, they will be here ... for years to come."
Yeah, Bobby Harris, the developers are there. They are there because you and your thieving cohorts on the Alabaster City Council are giving them everything they want. All you had to do is say "No, we are not going to use our power to take that property from those people and give it to you. If you can buy it from them, fine. If not ... get outta town." But nooooooo. These developers are offering you a lot of tax money, aren't they Bobby! Wow! Just think of all that sales tax revenue from that shopping center built on stolen land. Think of how powerful all that sales tax revenue will make you! Think of all the things you can use that money for and how many votes you can buy! Why, this may be a springboard into a nice legislative seat in Montgomery!
Yeah, Bobby Harris says "As your representative I placed you on notice over five years ago." Put them on notice? Here is how an honest man would have notified these homeowners of what's to come:
Attention Citizens of Simmsville! We, your Alabaster City Council, have decided that we are going to take your land and make it available to a developer. The developer will then build a privately owned shopping center featuring a Wall-Mart. We are going to get buckets of sales tax revenue from this shopping center that we can spend in ways that will make us more powerful. Yes, it's your property, but we have the power of force on our side, so you had better get out there and find yourselves another place to live.

NOW THAT SCHOOL HAS BEEN IN SESSION FOR A FEW WEEKS
Have you put your kids on drugs yet? Have you let your government school teachers and administrators convince you that your child has a disease that doesn't even exist?
You see, within the first few days of school many teachers out there had already identified the children in their classes who had active imaginations. They knew that these kids would present somewhat of a problem during the school year. While teachers were busy teaching the dumbed-down politically correct curriculum to a bunch of glassy-eyed myrmidons some children were getting restless. They wanted to learn. They didn't need their self-esteem cranked up, they just needed to be challenged, and that just wasn't going to happen. So, get them on drugs. Tell the parents that their kid has some phony disease and get him on some mind-altering drug that will make him sit the hell down and shut the hell up in class. It sure beats actually having to gain their attention through effective and challenging teaching techniques.
So .. did you fall for it? Is your kids now part of the Ritalin generation? Are you now teaching your child that it is not only perfectly OK, but it is actually good to alter your behavior and enhance their performance with drugs! Maybe your kid will take this to heart and use drugs later in life to enhance his athletic performance? And then, when he finally gets a job out there, he'll learn to alter his mind and enhance his performance at work with drugs too! Maybe alcohol!
GIRLS GET EXTRA HELP, BOYS GET RITALIN
Ahhhh ... let's twist the knife just a bit more on you parents out there drugging your kids. Is that child you're drugging a boy? Then perhaps you would like to read this article from USA Today. It seems that girls and boys get different treatment from teachers in government schools. But that's just the other boys, isn't it? Your boy really does have ADD, doesn't he? Yeah .. you go ahead and convince yourself of that.
STILL WAITING FOR THAT LAWSUIT
About two months ago some lawyer of the female persuasion threatened to sue me. She evidently works for the Ritalin crowd and takes pride in trying to beat down anyone who exposes this ADD/ADHD thing for what it is, the greatest medical fraud of the last 100 years. Yeah ... she was going to sue my ass off, she was. I was causing all of this mental distress to these proud parents who are drugging their kids. Well .. I'm still waiting for the lawsuit. I guess she found someone else to bother, or she's just having a problem paying attention to details. Perhaps she should try drugs.
GUESS WHO THIS MAN WILL VOTE FOR?
I received this e-mail from a pharmacist over the weekend:
I'm a pharmacist and a redneck couple came in my pharmacy and wanted a cream to rub on his leg that was swollen to twice it's normal size with red rings and bit marks all over. I told him that you may have an infection because of the bit marks and the swollen foot so you should see a doctor. They replied that he could not go to the doctor for he was out of work and did not have the money for a doctor visit. At that point I became very angry because the stupid couple had $80.00 worth of beer in their shopping cart.
Now .. when the next election rolls around you can be sure that this man, IF he actually votes, will most certainly vote for whatever politician offers him free health care. You see, it's our job to take care of idiots like this, isn't it?
THE PIZZA BOMB MAN
I'm sure you saw this story on the news over the weekend. Some pizza delivery man robs a bank. He has a bomb strapped to his chest. The police catch him and handcuff him. Then he tells them about the bomb. He says that someone else put it there and forced him to rob the bank. If this man actually hatched the whole plot himself .. then you have to wonder what his last thoughts were just be fore bomb goes boom. If someone else did attach that bomb and force him to rob the bank .. well then just find that person, strap a bomb to them and let him wait for it to go off. We could make it a pay-per-view event with the proceeds going to the victim's family.
Now do you agree with me that murderers ought to die the same way their victims do?
SINCE TODAY IS A HOLIDAY ...
... let's talk vacations. This morning CNN was running a piece about how little vacation Americans get. In Germany and France the law mandates 30 days of paid leave a year. That's 30 work days. Those of you who were home schooled will immediately see that this adds up to six weeks. In England its five weeks. In America, the average is two weeks. The "activists" are stirring. It's time, they say, for the federal government to step in and make businesses give their employees more time off. Can someone please tell me where in our Constitution it says that the imperial federal government will set vacation schedules?
THEY'RE STRIKING AT YALE
Yale employees are on strike ... about 4000 of them. Among other functions, these workers provide clerical aid and take care of services in dining halls and the library.
Let's look at a column from William Buckley to see what these strikers already have:
- They make an average of $32,000 a year. Yale offered them a 44% salary increase over five years.
- These workers get pensions that, combined with Social Security, cover 85% of their salary after just 30 years.
- Totally free health care for Yale employees and their families.
- Seven weeks of paid vacation every year. That's right ... SEVEN.
- $46,000 in subsidies for college bills for employees and their families
- A $25,000 grant to help in getting mortgages in neighborhood housing.
And they're striking. They want more. They want to make what the employees at Harvard are making, though it is more expensive to live in Cambridge.

READING ASSIGNMENTS
It's Labor Day. How do most Americans feel about their jobs? The answers may surprise you.
Hey, I don't want to throw a wet towel over your plans for this day off, but would you like to take a few minutes to read what the Arab press is saying about America? Warning .. it will make you want to kick some Arab booty.
Uh oh. There's another book out there named "Losing Bin Laden, How Bill Clinton's Failures Unleashed Global Terror." Actually you can trace our failures in stopping global terror all the way back to Jimmy Carter and Democratic Senator Frank Church. No doubt Bill Clinton was spending a lot more time looking at interns than he did looking for terrorists. I wonder if the American people are ever going to understand just how much damage this man did to America. And now his "wife" wants to finish us off.
Speaking of "Losing Bin Laden," here's a column from Robert Novak with some details of never-heard-before details of some of the inaction of the Clinton administration against Bin Laden. Remember ... this isn't really trying to figure out what went wrong. This is just "Clinton bashing."

A poll shows that not many people are paying all that much attention to the Democrats vying for the presidential nomination. Maybe the pollsters are just asking the wrong people. Maybe they went out there and asked a bunch of people who actually have taken steps to provide for their own needs? Why would people like that pay attention to Democrats? They need to go out and ask people who want to use government as an instrument of plunder.
Another step. Marijuana is now a prescription drug in The Netherlands. It can be prescribed for chronically ill patients.
In 1986 Israeli aircraft destroyed a nuclear plant in Iraq where it is said Saddam was working on a nuclear weapons program. Iran has a similar plant. Israel reportedly is ready to take that plant out too if it looks like Iran is getting ready to produce any weapons grade uranium.
Another article from a Washington insider saying Hillary is getting ready to run. Remember, folks. Don't pay any attention to her repeated statements that she won't run. She's a proven liar of pathological proportions.
