The Democrats are scrambling to fund their government dreams and schemes. As if taxing the achievers isn't enough, now they are threatening to impose new fees on the private insurance industry.

Remember last week when we talked about the House plan to force GM and Chrysler to reinstate dealerships slated to close? Barack Obama says that he opposes the plan. Got one right.

Barack Obama can give one helluva speech .. but that's not enough now that he is president.

One thing is for certain .. this government healthcare bill proposed by House Democrats promises to increase the size of government. Big time.

The Republicans have drawn up a chart to help the average government-educated American understand how the Democrat healthcare plan would work.

The federal government and all of these stimulus packages are really creating a lot of jobs in this economy ..... or not.

Here comes the flood of government money to turn our economy around. How is it going to do that? By weathering homes and paying the utility bills for poor people. Yeah .. that's economic stimulus all right.

A South Carolina judge has ruled that state law barring underage drinking is unconstitutional.

Just what poor people need .. cellphones provided by people who can afford to buy their own cellphones.

To find an auto plant that is hiring workers and earning a profit, you may have to go to ... Poland?

Parents ... the name you choose for your son may determine whether or not he leads a law-abiding life.
