Sent in by listener Greg Waddle.

There's a ten-year-old boy in Arkansas who is refusing to pledge allegiance to the flag at his government school ... until gays and lesbians have equal rights. The boy says, "I looked at the end and it said 'with liberty and justice for all.' And there really isn't liberty and justice for all. There's -- gays and lesbians can't marry. There's still a lot of racism and sexism in the world, yes."

Well I don't know what racism and sexism has to do with it ... but I want to teach this fifth grader a lesson he would NEVER learn in his government school. He probably would also never learn this lesson at home from his parents, because he parents are child abusers - sending their child to the government to be educated.

Look ... I've been through this before. I've challenged my listeners to come up with one single legal right that I have as a straight man that a gay man wouldn't have. Now before you get all hot and bothered with the email ... let's test my theory a bit:

You can marry the person you love. A gay man can't.

Yeah? I can marry the person I love IF she happens to be a woman. I cannot marry the person I love IF he happens to be a man. The gay man enjoys exactly the same right.

Actually ... I think I pretty well wrapped it up with just one example. There is not one single constitutional right enjoyed by straight men not enjoyed by gay men. You'll be hard-pressed to find any legal rights in any jurisdiction that differentiates.

This Arkansas 10-year-old needs some lessons in logic.

BOWING TO THE EMPEROR

You saw it, didn't you? Barack Obama damned near bounced forehead off the floor when he met the Emperor of Japan. That's how deep his bow was. Obama does the same thing for Saudi princes. With the Emperor Obama didn't just dip his head .. he bent 90 degrees at the waist. Some protocol experts say that a deep, 90 degree bow represents a humble apology for some sort of a transgression. Don't know if Obama is smart enough to know that ... but it's worth considering.

In the meantime ... when Clinton was in office he, too, met the Emperor. Clinton dipped ever-so-slightly at the waist, and The New York Times gave him hell. The times said it was inappropriate for a President of the United States to bow before a foreign leader. Let's all hold our collective breaths while we wait for the Times to take America's Dear Leader to task on this one.

USE WISELY YOUR POWER OF CHOICE

Last week, beauty queen Carrie Prejean dominated the news for two reasons: she had a book coming out and an ex-boyfriend revealed that she had filmed a sex tape. She said that the tape was the "biggest mistake" of her life. Well it looks like Carrie has a few more big mistakes to explain .. how about eight sex tapes and 30 naked photos.

Also .. have you seen some of her interviews lately? Sorry, Prejean fans. This lady is starting to reveal her true colors ... she very well may not be wrapped all that tightly. Sure is pretty though!

THE NUMBER OF DRUG ADDICTS INCREASES

It's been a while since we have picked on filthy, smelly, ignorant smokers.  Yes, I said it.  You know that I have no sympathy for someone who pathetically chooses to this drug day in and day out.  Research shows that smokers have lower IQs, which makes me question why any employer would ever higher a smoker.  Not only are they not as intelligent but they are sick more often, costing you money and productivity.

Easy, big guy ... easy.

There's a reason I bring this up .. other than to give Cristina and Webguy more hate mail to sort through ... we have some new reports show that for the first time in almost 15 years, the number of smokers is on the rise.  A 2008 national survey by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found that 21% of Americans smoke cigarettes, which is the first increase in smoking adults since 1994.

Oddly enough, this increase in smoking coincides with the tanking of our economy.  So many people out there are without jobs.  They are without the luxuries of life they maybe used to enjoy.  But by God, smoking is NOT one of those luxuries they cannot live without.  I bet that 80% of Americans that smoke support a government takeover of our healthcare system.  They clearly are unable to make wise choices on their own, and they would probably prefer the government to do that for them.  I bet a majority of these smokers are on food stamps, complaining that they can't properly feed their families.  Yet they will still spend hundreds of dollars a week on smokes.  This is the American entitlement culture at its best.

You know .. there's probably another reason for the increase in smoking.  With a weed fiend president, maybe smoking is cool again.

Well .. on the good side.  It does put some interesting people into those smoking-area leper colonies out in back of your office.  Go peer at them through a window and thank your lucky stars you're not one of them.

We're learning more about Major Nidal Hasan.  We now know that many of his colleagues thought that he was dangerous.  They thought he might go postal.  They couldn't fire him though.  Why not?  Because he was a Muslim .. and they didn't want to go through all of that "discrimination" nonsense.  So ... 13 people are dead.  PC dead.

9/11 MEMORIAL TOO CONTROVERSIAL?

A Connecticut man wants the words "Killed by Muslim terrorists on November September 11, 2001" on a plaque memorializing his son. The town of Kent says "no way." What is the problem with the truth here? Holocaust memorials make references to Germans. Memorials at Pearl Harbor make reference to the Japanese. The town just wants the memorial to say that his son "passed away." Muslim terrorists did this .. say it like it is.

.... and it happened about six yesterday morning. The clock change had me a bit messed up, so at six o'clock in the ayem I drove off to the local convenience store to get a good cuppa coffee and a copy of The Naples Daily News. As I pulled up to the convenience store I notices a small dark-colored SUV parked there with a VERY expensive bicycle on a rack. I mean expensive ... over $1000 expensive. The engine was running and nobody was in the car. Well, this is stupidity on a grand scale. So I walked in to get my coffee. There at the counter was a tall blond wearing all of the logo-covered spandex biking stuff. I gotta say, she sure did fill out that spandex nicely. But .. no matter: I said "Ma'am. I just saw someone out in the parking lot eying your SUV. You're engine's running, the key is in the ignition and there's nobody in the car." She harrumphed and raced into the parking lot. Seeing nobody she stomped back into the store to finish paying for her coffee. I just looked at her and shrugged: "I guess they ran away when they saw me looking at them." This tall blond had all of the personality of a Gila Monster. Someday someone is going to steal this idiot's car ... I want to be there when she comes running into the parking lot with a panicked look on her face. I doubt her thousand-dollar bicycle would be covered by whatever insurance she has. The quintessential dumb blond.

Who am I rooting for in the World Series?  Well ... first of all, I probably won't give the whole mess a second thought .. and if I do watch it won't be until we get to a deciding game.  If Bobby Cox isn't there I don't care.  But .. having said that, I was born in the Philadelphia suburb of Bryn Mawr ... so do the math.

ANOTHER AMERICAN FLAG DEBATE

Last week we had the story about the apartment complex in Oregon that wouldn't allow American flags on its property. Luckily ... and after a lot of pressure ... the apartment complex finally came to its senses. But now we have this story out of Chester, Pennsylvania. James Krapf has been a firefighter for 11 years. Last week he was suspended without pay because he refused to peel a sticker of the American flag from the door of his locker.

The department decided to implement a new rule that all stickers and statements be removed from lockers because they could be deemed "racist" or "offensive." Apparently the new rule was put in place after someone posted an "offensive" cartoon on a locker.

So last week, everyone removed paraphernalia from their lockers. But when it came to the American flag sticker, Krapf refused to remove it. The Fire Commissioner insisted that he follow the new policy, also insisting that it is not about the symbolism of the American flag ... that was not the issue.

This is 21st Century America under Barack Obama. You can't even put the American Flag on your locker at a fire department. Maybe if we replaced the Stars and Stripes with the Obama "O" it would be better.

Yesterday in Atlanta, we had a school in lockdown because somewhere in the area there had been a car-jacking. And I pointed out to the caller the fact that someday, these kids ... locked up inside a school, unable to play in dirt or eat birthday cake at lunch or play a sport that might cause bruising ... someday we are going to be asking these kids to fight for our country. Go, you little pansy, put your life on the line! There is no way in hell that these kids will be able to handle it.

And it is stories like this that just add to my collection of stories about the wussification of America. This story takes place in Delaware. Zachary Christie is 6-years-old. He recently joined the Cub Scouts. Good. I'm glad his parents signed him up for the Scouts, now we have to work on the whole government school thing ... but that is another rant. So Zachary joins the Cub Scouts and his parents take him to the store so he can buy some camping equipment. And Zachary is really excited about his new gadget - a camping utensil that serves as a knife, fork and a spoon. So Zachary packs his lunch for school the next day. In his lunch box he throws his new utensil so he can eat his lunch. So he gets to school, whips out his new utensil and it wasn't two minutes before Zachary is being harassed by school officials. Why? For bringing a knife to school.

Zachary is suspended from school. Not only that, but then he faces 45 days in the school district's reform school. Zero tolerance policies. He was accused of bringing a weapon to school and knives are strictly banned, "regardless of possessor's intent."

That, folks, is what we call the wussification of America. And you have government schools to thank for it.

From the Atlanta area, a Cobb County teen is told he cannot dress as a girl at school.

THE PRIORITIES OF THE MOOCHER CLASS

Here's the story of a doctor who had a general surgery practice in a rural California town. She outlines her experience of dealing with patients who were receiving healthcare on the taxpayer dime all the while spending their money on luxury items.

According to Dr. Linda Halderman, the following items were commonly seen on patients or carried by their dependent children who's medical coverage was being covered by subsidized programs:

  • Cell phones and "BlackBerry" PDAs, including just-released models with a price tag of $400, plus an ongoing monthly service fee of $65-$150
  • iPods and portable DVD players
  • GameBoys and handheld electronic games
  • Artificial fingernails requiring maintenance every two weeks at a cost of $40-$60 per salon visit
  • Elaborate braided hair weaves, $300 per session plus frequent maintenance
  • Custom-designed body art, including tattoos covering the entire torso, neck and arms, as well as body jewelry piercing every skin surface imaginable-and a few unimaginable ones.
  • Custom tattoo work, particularly the "portrait-type" and "half sleeve" art popular in this area, runs from $100-$300 per hour and can require up to 20 hours of work, depending on the complexity of the design.

These people have all of this money to spend on non-essentials, but not enough money to provide for their own basic healthcare, or their children's.

AND SPEAKING OF TATTOOS ...

You may remember this story from a while ago. In California, a man by the name of Enrique Gonzalez had his 7-year-old son tattooed with a gang symbol. The dog paw print on the boys right hip is supposed to represent Fresno's notorious criminal street gang, the Bulldogs.

So now the case is in court. A judge will decide today whether putting a tattoo on his son (obviously a minor) is considered "permanent or painful disfigurement." If that is the case, Enrique Gonzalez would serve life in prison.

Life in prison may be a bit much. Just have "child abuser" tattooed on his forehead. And while we're at it have "HIV Positive" tattooed on his stomach just below his naval. That ought to lead to some interesting times.

Now ... remember this. This comes from a Hall of Fame radio personality and New York Times bestselling author .. then throw in hot air balloon pilot and lawyer (both requiring a lot of hot air) and you have the complete package. Ready? No woman anywhere at any time has ever enhanced her appearance with the addition of a tattoo. And for you fat chicks out there. Those ankle tats don't take off one ounce.

Can any of you understand how little I care that the F-bomb was dropped on SNL this weekend? Can we just get over it? First of all, the kids were in bed. Secondly, they hear this word every single F___ing day at school anyway.

Oh yeah, there's a bad word in this clip if you haven't figured that out yet. You have been warned.

Kanye just interrupted the Swayze funeral to remind them Michael Jackson had the greatest funeral of all time.

BEGINNING WITH PRAISE FOR OBAMA

President Obama weighed in yesterday on Kanye West's boorish behavior at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night. In case you slept through Monday, you can click on this video to see what happened.

Now West has apologized for this bit several times, and his apology seems genuine. But Obama has still weighed in on Kanye's actions. According to ABC's Terry Moran, Obama called West a "jackass" for his little VMA stunt.

Now we're hearing that Obama made that comment during a CNBC interview ... an off-the-record interview. Now ABC is apologizing for revealing the off-the-record comment.

Sure a lot of apologies going around.

Anyway ... it's nice to know that President Obama can recognize a jackass when he sees one. It would have been nicer if that part of the interview had been on the record.

It was the MTV Video Music Awards last night in New York. Taylor Swift won the award for the best female video. She's 19-years-old and she sings country music. That's not exactly the target demo for the MTV Video Music Awards.

Sooooooo .... Swift is on stage accepting her award when Kanye West runs up and grabs the microphone away from her and said "Yo Taylor. I'm really happy for you I'm let you finish, bit Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time ...." West then left the stage to boos .. and Swift didn't get the chance to finish her acceptance remarks.

Later when Beyonce was accepting her award for the best music video of the year (that would be male and female) she invited Taylor out on stage to finish her remarks. That showed real class.

Now .. since we're so busy slinging charges of racism around (see previous and next items) let's acknowledge that if it had been a black female on the stage and the microphone had been grabbed from her by a white male, all racial hell would have broken loose. Do you remember that presidential debate some years back when a Republican male candidate walked up to Hillary Clinton while she was answering a question? The media was quick to condemn the move as sexist. Let's see where those same people are today.

Kanye West once again shows that he is a classless pig.
