Clearly I am not a fan of this left-wing footstool Michael Moore. But he made a comment so asinine the other day that I just had to share it with you. This is the logic of a liberal in support of Obamacare:

"Their only crime - for dying - their only crime that they would have committed was they were a citizen in the United States of America ... If they were a few hundred miles north of us here, they wouldn't die. Pure and simple, that's the only difference - they hold an American passport instead of a Canadian passport."

Yeah ... and that's why the Prime Minister of Newfoundland recently traveled to Miami for heart surgery. That's why doctors in my home town of Naples, Florida are so busy this time of year treating Canadians ... Canadians who wait until their annual migrations South to get their health treatments.

  • Who's faulty logic?
    I despise Michael Moore but I guess that his claim here is that the US health care system (compared to the Canadian system) is not very good for people with limited means (and pre-existing conditions). The fact that it is attractive for wealthy Canadians is a poor argument against that claim. Nobody questions the quality of care you can buy in the US, provided you have the funds.

    is CRIS, Cranial-Rectal Inversion Syndrome for which there is treatment available. Once the treatment is applied correctly then one will hear a "POP" and begin to see the Light!!

    Frankly, I think opponents of nationalized healthcare missed the boat on the prop parade. They could have easily trotted out foreign children who lost their parents to crappy healthcare, and it would have been legitimate theatre.

  • Tea party aginst Successful filmmakers
    This is absolutely ridiculous that someone like Michael Moore is so successful making film documentaries that are just as fair as fox entertainment(aka fox news). I think we need a tea party to force the government to have movie theatres show conservative documentaries despite the fact that nobody watches them or pays tickets to see them.

    P.S. What doctors do you see that tell you about their other patients???

    why didnt these people have health coverage? why did they not find job that supplied? why were they responsible enough to have it? why did the live out of their means so they couldnt afford it...no excuses u can get health coverage if u want it...just have to WORK for it. damn i hate entitlement mentality
