"When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men living together in society, they create for themselves in the course of time a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that justifies it."

Sorry .. but I'm beginning to think he's not wrapped too tight. Actually .. I think I told you I was feeling this way back around Monday. Now that Eric Massa is showing his true nature the ObamaMedia is trying to paint him as the new darling of the right. Yeah ... we'll see how well that sticks. The guy is Richard Simmons in a suit.

What others are saying

  • Glenn Beck screwed this one up!
The sole intentions of this interview was for Beck to get "dirt" on the left. I am by no means a democrat; I claim libertarian as my party of choice but Glenn Beck is a conspiracy theorist right wing nut case. The fact he claims to be libertarian is concerning and embarrassing.
  • once again libs prove they are racist
“but he couldn’t sell watermelons if it, you gave him the state troopers to flag down the traffic.”

    Dan Rather 3-7-10
  • The Navy stuff is pretty weird
Massa does seem a bit strange, but in his defense, the Navy "rituals" he is referring to do seem to be the norm. Many of my friends in the IT industry are ex-Navy, and some of the stories they tell sound very weird to someone who has not been in the Navy. For example, the ceremony for "Pollywogs"
who are crossing the equator for the first time is quite bizarre; in the Army, you would probably get your butt kicked trying to do that to somebody. The Navy is a different place, with men cooped up on a small gray island together for months at a time. Submariners are particularly strange, but I guess you would have to be a bit crazy to agree to be sealed in metal tube underwater for months at a time.
  • railroaded
He reminds me of the nut who tried to sell Obama's senate seat.

Half of the Democrats in congress are queers. Why do they have a problem with this one? They obviously railroaded him.
  • 'he is on our side'
???? With all due respect...he disagrees with healthcare reform but that doesn't mean he's on our side. Hell, I don't trust Lindsey Graham who is 'on our side'.
  • he is on our side
well, he is on our side on this health care bill, so lets support him
  • Former Navy...
I think you hit it on the nail! LOL. Maybe he was near Key West. I'm still chuckling about he and Rahm and their 'moment'! Thanks for clarifying the ceremony.
  • Shellback ceremony
I don't know what ship this doofus was on but I can assure you my shellback initiation (crossing the equator) did NOT resemble a Roman orgy. He must have been on the Good Ship Lollipop or something.
  • Massa
When he referred to the 'Crossing the Line' ceremony on board the New Jersey in 1983...I assume he meant the International Dateline but...what did those guys do to him? Or am I better off not asking? Weere there small animals involved? PETA is the only group left out of the mix so far.
  • kicks are for trids..................
I wonder if he is going blind or growing hair on his palms.........

he appears to like SELF ABUSE......A LOT!!

him and rham naked????? oh my eyes....poke them out.......
  • Re: comments about the electorate
Folks, if it took this situation to let you all know their are "dolts" in the electorate, then you've been asleep.

Let see, what about Obama, Grayson, Maxine Waters, Mark Foley, Pelosi, Durbin, Rangel, Edwards, Kerry - the list goes on and on, and not just in one party (though I admit my list above is skewed Dem).

The fact is, because there is no requirement that a person actually have a clue before voting, and so many don't pay attention to candidates before or after the election, they're just swayed by slick marketing, this type of representation is the best we can ever hope for.

The fires are already burning and Nero (Obama) is fiddling.
  • Massa
I do not have much to say about it except something is off with all (Massa, White House, & Democratic Party) involved. I suspect what he has done is all about to do nothing. I disagree that he is a closeted gay or leans that way—If he was gay, it would not make sense to hide it since he is of the democratic party which pride itself of being the party of the gays, black, illegal immigrants or any other minority that “feels” disenfranchised. I do believe the Democrats do not like him because he is contrarian to their health care and cap & trade bills (he agrees with them but has a different view on how to implement their progressive agenda).
One thing I truly want to ask and wish Glenn asked him is/was “why quit if you are the deciding vote?” I understanding your health issues but could you not have hang on until after the vote on the health care bill because if you are the deciding vote that would mean this health care bill you disagree with and I believe is far from health care cost reform would not have passed due to your "no" vote!!!
  • Massa having tickle fights...
    on the publics dime...awesome. LOL.
  • STOP!!!
You know, the Right isn't doing ourselves any favors by parading this guy in front of the cameras and giving him his 15 minutes of fame. I know we salivate that a DEM has been exposed, but the more air time we give this guy, the more the left will associate him with us.
  • Found: The 4th Stooge!
This guy is all over the map! Does he qualify for ADHD or just D? On the brighter side, he may be turning Rahm Emanuel into a gay icon. And Rahm could always use more friends.
  • And...
    ...his last name is racist!

Actually, if his was the vote to kill Obamacare, he could tickle me all night
  • Let's Dance, But first we need to decide who''s going to lead!!!
Glenn had given such a BIG BUILDUP about this "impending" interview to take place on 03/09/10 that I knew I must watch and listen. No disappointment here, and Glenn realized after the first exchange, he wasn't going to extract the revelations that he had possibly hoped for.
I sent the following e-mail to the Glenn Beck show immediately after the end of the broadcast.

You're correct in your final synopsis of the Eric Massa visit (can't really call it an interview can we). It was a waste of "OUR" time!!! I watched and listened intently and immediately knew that this guy was there to divert, obfuscate, dodge, circumvent, avoid, distort, deviate, confuse, deny, acquiesce, cover, and just about any other adjective and/or verb and can be reasonably inserted. This guy is a sympathy whore and you would've had a much more successful 42 minutes of air time had you decided to interview his "sweet" wife instead! One could see from your initial reaction in the opening moment of the questioning that you knew that you were being HAD!!! That's one of the things that your audience finds to be acceptable about you; you're an easy read, your expression(s) says it even if you don't. Remain true to us and yourself and stay the course. I thank you for your time and indulgence.

I stongly suspect that the results would have been pretty much the same
had it been an "R" instead of a "D". I am totally fed up with both and while we're on the subject.....TEXAS,,,,,WHAT IN THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU????? You reinstalled the same crapulence sans one!
  • Man, was that one bizarre interview!
I watched most of the interview and have to say that it was probably the oddest hour of TV I've seen in years. The guy is probably a closeted gay (not that there is anything wrong with it!) and is definitely an idiot. However, he undoubtedly experienced some nastiness while in Congress. Too bad he's not articulate enough to share the experiences. It would have been interesting to hear.

I laughed my rear end off at Beck. He simply didn't know how to handle Massa until the very end. Oh, the joys of live television!
  • " Tickle Fights"
Fifty year old men having tickle fights? A U.S. Congressman? Sort of speaks for itself. Now about Rahm stalking naked men in the shower....
  • Massa Creep Factor: 10+
As we say in Texas, he's about as useful as t*ts on a bull.

Massa is like a sleazeball informer in Goodfellas. A pure product of the left, and the confederacy of fools in New York who elected him to office.

Remember, this is the guy who used to pal around with democrap corruptocrat Elliot Spitzer--the infamous Client No. 9. 'Nuff said.
  • What does this say about the electorate that voted this bozo into orifice?
It says, in the immortal words of the eminent Butt Neckid,

    "WE'S SKREWED!"
  • Massa
    Why insult Richard Simmons??
  • Hypocrisy
Wow, who cares? I have never heard of this guy. If conservatives could ever move on and not care about useless situations then maybe the fox biased news wouldnt feed them so much nonsense.
  • Massa
What is stunning is that voters actually elected a moron like this into office. Goes back to that one quote that is circulating via email where the problem isn't so much Hussein Obama, but rather the dolts who elected an idiot like that.
  • Massa and Rahm (Deadfish)
So...still haven't gotten the word on this one, considering the whole business of meeting in the showers...Is Deadfish just a "minnow" acting like an "Orca" to compensate for a deficiency?
  • I am not really sure...
what to make of this Massa situation. This does not seem like a staged situation by either party. I believe him about the crazy amounts of pressure coming from Rahm and the naked shower thing, but it does not surprise me how the establishment has turned against him today in all the news headlines. Since this was not a staged action by either of the parties it really doesn't have any traction. The media will end up trashing this guy more than likely since the MSM is controlled by the Obama administration essentially.
  • Massa
"I forced myself out" yeah right

Said his groping investigation was nothing more than a bunch of guys tickling each other. That's 3rd grade behavior unless he swings both ways, which I suspect is the case
