If we start demanding that liberals get the same amount of time on air with conservatives, it's going to make us look bad. I do agree that conservatives make more sense than liberals do for the most part.

If the Fairness Doctrine is enacted again it only makes sense to extend it to ALL the marketplaces of ideas - such as academia and the MSM. Maybe we can get rid of some of these liberals indoctrinating our children.

What makes you think the Fairness Doctrine will be applied equally? The guvmint unfairly applies rules, regulations, and laws all the time.

For example, Congress has excluded themselves and a large number of government employees from having to participate in the Government option under Pelosicare and Obamacare. Is that fair?

The so called cash for clunkers program excluded newer vehicles (pickups, SUV's), even though the miles per gallon these vehicles got were less than the older vehicles. Is that fair or even logical or does it even make sense?

Despite Obama’s campaign pledge to not allow earmarks in Congressional bills, Congress still continues to put in earmarks, even though they have not been considered or voted on by the members. Is that fair?

It is not fair and it is the actions of 435 Kings, Queens, and Dictators who thing they are gods, ala Stalin, Pol Pot, Hitler, and Kim Yung IL, to name a few of history’s worst dictators, and we are peasants. Is that fair?

Frank, what is "fair" changes depending on who is in office at the time. So it's naive to think it can be applied fairly. Leave it alone.

I'm all for the Firness Doctrine if it is applied fairly. If this "political balance" is applied to predominantly conservative AM talk radio, then it should be also be applied to predominantly liberal television news and commentary. Ditto for newspapers.

Either everyone applies "The Fairness Doctrine" or no one should be forced to apply it.

The NWO oligarchs will allow Conservative Talk Radio to go on for a while because once the US/Global economy collapses talk radio will probably be pretty up in arms over the whole ordeal and it will help rally the people to fight the government which is exactly what the NWO wants.
