Yesterday fellow soldiers tried to surprise the two conscientious objectors but the privates were prepared and killed 12 soldiers who tried to force their way into the privates' barracks at Fort Hood.

Finally both privates were overcome and killed. Their psychiatrist major Hasan is in hospital recovering.'

Officials of the military have spun the story to make it seem the privates' doctor (who has a muslim sounding name) was the perpetrator so that the public does not understand just how much resistance there is to the middle east war in the military rank and file.

We have no permanent military bases in the ME. We currently maintain operational bases in areas where we are engaged in combat operations, but the last “permanent” base was closed some time ago.
As a matter of policy, we are not trying to convert Islam to Christianity and I challenge you to cite a single State Department or administration dictum so affirming such. That is a strawman. There are more active conversions of Christians to Islam here and in Europe than the other way around.
Our “interventionist” and “imperialistic” policies do not engage in occupation, disruption and disintegration of entire cultures and societies (Read British Colonial History). Invariably in every country that we have “occupied” ; usually after having to defeat it in war, the standard of living rose astronomically after we rebuilt the nation...ask Germany, Japan, and Korea for starters.

It's time we look at the possibility of kicking muslims out of the U.S. military. This is especially true for those who voice disapproval with our military for occupying their so-called holy land.
