"When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men living together in society, they create for themselves in the course of time a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that justifies it."

Well ... here's your latest cost estimate on the PelosiCare bill from the house. It's $1.2 trillion. This is a small price for the looters when the aim is control over the people. It's a huge price, and likely to double, when the goal of the people is independence and liberty.

While the big battles are being fought in Washington, Democrats are quietly racking up smaller victories that have been on their wish lists for years. The Wall Street Journal has more.

Uh Oh. Now this is just not going to pass muster. It seems that ALL of the active ethics probes being carried on by the Democrat-chaired ethics committee are focused on black lawmakers. Bunch of racists, I way. We need a quota overhaul here.

Do you wonder why Al Gore refuses to debate the global warming nonsense? Could it possibly be because he has a huge financial stake in promoting this fraud?

Here's a hard luck story ... but the Texas Lottery Commission has this one right.

Just what the Republicans need ... a civil war.

Seems that the voters in Iowa are starting to figure out that they were conned by this hopey-changey thingy. It's not just in Iowa.

And if you're still signed-in to Obama's hopey-changey message, for goodness' sake don't read this. You don't want to find out that to The Community Organizer, it's all about money .. money flowing his way.

Jeremiah Wright is back in the news. This time over a video where he praises Marxism. Sounds about right.

Suspended for a half-game? Hell, this thug should be out for the season.

Ford, the only Big Three auto maker not to take a government bailout, recorded a billion dollar profit, thanks largely to restructuring and renegotiating union contracts.

And then we get this news ... Taxpayers are unlikely to recover their full investment in General Motors or Chrysler.

Has anyone read the Copenhagen agreement? What exactly are we about to get ourselves into.

Hillary Clinton is doing a slam-bang job of handling the Middle East peace process. Or not ...

Obama says he wants to get serious about creating jobs. Wait, wasn't that what his economic stimulus package was for?

According to Obama's chief dog washer, Valeria Jarrett, the GOP is becoming more and more extreme and marginalized.

Is this the future of the Republican Party?

A report from the Congressional Research Service shows that the United States has the largest energy reserves on Earth. But because of our government, we can't do a darn thing about it.

What does immigration enforcement have to do with national security? Here's something the Democrats (and some Republicans) don't want you to see.

An analysis found that 3 million registered voters are dead and 12 million are ineligible to vote.

Here in our home base of Georgia, $1.8 billion in stimulus money created/saved 16,000 government school jobs.

The media is warning that despite GOP victories today during elections around the country, the Republicans still have a long way to go for 2010.

The government of Venezuela is having to ration water, and the leftists blame this on ... capitalism??

A massive wind energy project off the coast of Massachusetts could be held up indefinitely because ... it could harm the rituals of a local Indian tribe?

Is a Muslim headscarf considered a hat? Here's a story from Dallas that has the Muslims in a rage.

"Dumbing down" ones resume has become common place in this economy.

Recent studies have found that bad moods can actually be good for you! Tell that to my staff.

Avg. rating: N/A

What others are saying

  • George Hutchins site blocked in China
Not sure why they blocked his site since I didn't see anything anti-Chinese. That said, I hope this clown isn't the future of the Republican party otherwise it will be a very short future. Seems like another abortion and drug war fixated flake to me.
  • Venezuela
Just got back from there with a glimpse of our future. $17 for a McDonalds combo, $50 for a Dominos medium cheeze pizza, rolling power blackouts daily. Spread the wealth.
  • Neal approves of fraud?
Do libertarians approve of fraud? A man buys a lottery ticket and is tricked by a store clerk who gets the
ticket and cashes it. And Neal has no problem with that? The buyer of the ticket is unemployed and black...which in Neal's world means that he's worthless scum. Nice lesson in ethics and morality, Neal.
  • "Here in our home base of Georgia, $1.8 billion in stimulus money created/saved 16,000 government school jobs."
As an employee of Georgia State University... I want to know where our created and saved jobs are. If you want to argue that my co-worker of 13 year's job was saved, then you should go talk to him in the unemployment line. It was saved at best for a month or two.
  • Georgia, $1.8 billion, and 16000 jobs....
    here comes some calculator abuse:

that's $112,500 per job. I didn't know that teaching public school paid so well.
  • Job Creation & Healthcare Reform - Cost Inefficiencies
"Officials say nearly 400,000 education jobs nationally have been retained or established thanks to $100 billion in stimulus money." That works out to $250,000 per job. Presume avg. teachers' salaries are $85,000 annually, inclusive of benefits. This leaves $165,000 in administrative costs per job. Efficient? No.

Private sector jobs, "created or saved," would be done at a minute fraction of the $165,000 per job expense. Further, the marketplace would determine jobs based on supply and demand principles rather than through a political payback scheme.

If you do not recognize that your freedoms are quickly being eroded... WAKE UP!

Examine some of the Federal Government's track record:

GM & Chrysler - The Fed acknowledges taxpayers are quite unlikely to ever be paid back for the billions of investment dollars issued during 2008 & 2009.

Social Security - Bankrupt; In 2006, the Social Security Administration said the program faces over $4 trillion in unfunded liabilities over the next 75 years.

Medicare - Bankrupt; In 2006, the Government Accountability Office estimates Medicare faces $28 trillion in unfunded liabilities over the next 75 years.

Medicaid - Bankrupt; In 1966, according the Office of Management and Budget, Medicaid cost $770 million. It is projected it will cost $264 billion in 2011.

Post Office - Deep financial trouble

AMTRAK - Prime example of a private/public partnership gone bad and costing much more than any government official projected. $40 million was invested by the Federal government in 1971 with an "expectation" AMTRAK would break-even by 1974. That never happened. Annual Federal subsidies allocated through 2013 are now $2.6 billion.

Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac - both Government Sponsored Entities (GSE's)which failed and are now under federal conservatorship Bankrupt

With this track record, and demonstrably stunning cost inefficiencies, can you support the Federal Government notion that it can efficiently manage healthcare reform, or 1/6th of the economy? I cannot.
  • Ford
Ford made that much profit and no one has investigated? There has got to be a law against this, they are obviously price gauging the American people. It has to be Bush's fault, or maybe Cheney. We MUST limit these profits or the country will not survive. Don't tell me the stimulus ain't working.
  • China to be part of New World Order
According to Soros! Of course this dimwit interviewing him doesn't push him AT ALL:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ve1FnCsTkRg
  • George Hutchins Web Site.
Oh sweet Jesus, my eyes!! That is the most vile website. Apart from that, he supports the war on drugs, blames gay men for the decline of Western civilization, is obviously color blind, and his grammar & punctuation is less than satisfactory. He'd lose my vote for those reasons alone.
  • Excuse you Bill?
    Texas Lottery
I know what Neal thinks of lotteries. However the clerk that is alleged to have stolen the ticket is just a smart and successful Libertarian. He found an opportunity to be more successful and took it as Libertarians care nothing about lying, cheating or stealing their way to "success".
    By Bill

Do you even know what a LiberTARIAN is? I hope you meant liberal.
  • aaaah, my eyes!!
Bluesman and Micah got to it before I did, but did I heed their warnings? I really tried to check out Hutchins' site, but my eyes started wigging out fast.

I'm not sure I should use this place to offer my design services, but George, do your campaign a favor and hire a pro! It'll be well worth it.
  • Muslim head scarf
Wouldn't this also be an issue of sanitation? Do those things get washed every day?
  • Mark great math, but missed one
That 1.2 trillion (which you make into 2.5) is not to cover everyone. That's just to cover the uninsurable, the can't afford it crowd and the admin costs. You'll still have your own premiums to deal with.
  • Texas Lottery
I know what Neal thinks of lotteries. However the clerk that is alleged to have stolen the ticket is just a smart and successful Libertarian. He found an opportunity to be more successful and took it as Libertarians care nothing about lying, cheating or stealing their way to "success".
  • Al Gore
Al Gore being financially motivated to spread lies about global warming, oh sorry "climate change" is not even remotely new. This has been known for years, but I am glad that it is starting to become more public knowledge. I just skimmed the article but it seems pretty slanted in his favor though about how he is just putting his money where his mouth is; it downplays the wealth he has accumulated doing this and I guess his profits aren't "immoral" because he donates "every penny" he has made from his investments into his OWN nonprofit.
  • OBAMACARE COST
Why aren't more people calling-out the Dems for this absurdly low projection cost for public healthcare.

Medicare (in 2007) covered 43 million Americans.

Medicare cost (in 2008) $386 billion. NOTE: It is projected to cost $452 billion in 2010, but let's use 2008 numbers.

My (very quick) research did not give cost and number covered for the same year, but we can still use the data for a little insight.

EASY MATH: 40 million medicare recipients cost $386 billion. THEREFORE, 300 million Obamacare recipients will cost $2.9 trillion.

    $2.9 trillion!!

Using the government's own numbers for a program that already covers one-seventh of the US population projected to cover everyone does not cost $900 billion. IT COSTS $2.9 TRILLION.

If anyone one believe the US government can run a healthcare program that is seven times bigger than Medicare and somehow run it much, much more efficient, needs to pull their head out.
  • Small Democrat Victories: Hate Speech
The hate speech legislation the libs got passed is scary, expanding the definition AND allowing the Justice Dept to intercede when they believe the local authorities are not doing their job? To me this is reminiscent of "thought crimes" in the book 1984. Everyone is so focused on health care that everything else floats right on by...
  • it ain't a texas hat..............................................
a hat in texas has to hold at least 15 1/2 gal or it's a yamaka.......
  • George Hutchins
I think the plan with this website is for only liberals to visit his site in the hopes that their heads will explode like I felt mine was about to. Fortunately, when my forehead hit my desk, I inadvertently clicked the Back button and was spared a life of doing nothing more productive than blowing spit bubbles...
  • Is the head scarf a choice or a religious mandate?
That's the question I'd love to see a Muslim answer.

Many Muslims are simply interested in shoving their religion down people's throats rather than to merge into modern society. Now if you got into an argument whether or not Islam is peaceful and not oppressive, a Muslim WILL tell you that the head scarf is a woman's CHOICE.

We have to deprogram the hypocrisy of Islam the same way we had to deprogram hypocrisy of Christianity out of our laws.
  • GOP Civil War
This is exactly what the GOP needs, to get rid of the RINO's so they can retake their party, they should work WITH the Conservative Party.

    Go Hoffman!
  • Yes...this is the future of the Republican Party
Argh...what are we going to do?

Not sure if this site is worse than the "Roy the Bull" video - Just Damn

I will state the obvious just to make me feel better - Republicans stand no chance nationally until they can disassociate themselves from the religious right. Not sure how they can do that - the change will have to come from within the Religious Right - someone with "street cred" within the Religious Right needs to step forward and make the case for staying out of peoples lives through government force - One wonders if this person exists.

At some point - these moralists are going to have to understand they are part of the problem - many, many independents hold their nose and vote democrat - because of the Religious Right.
  • Border blaster Gore
I remember my Dad telling me about the old border blaster stations along the border that had pitchmen selling stuff like prayer cloths and goat gland therapy. Maybe Algore could fire up that old station in Ciudad Acuna, Mexico and sell his global warming snakeoil.
  • Arab doctor
the moral to this story is...if a resume comes across your desk and it has an obvious arab name on it then you should go ahead and place it in the "round file". it will save you and your company alot of headaches.
  • Dumbing Down Resumes
I know all about dumbing down resumes. I have 6 different versions of my resume and 4 of them are "dumbed-down." It's a hard time right now. A gentleman I go to church with is a retired Air Force pilot who has flown the small business jets that CEO's/Execs/politicians fly around in for the last 10 years or so, but is now working at a Panera Bread due to not being able to find any other job.
  • Re:The government of Venezuela is having to ration water, and the leftists blame this on ... capitalism??
Ahhh! The wonders of STATISM! A new name for every time it's tried, and a Failure every time it's tried.
  • READING ASSIGNMENTS
i was reading about republicans having a civil war when i spotted the name Dick Armey. Dick Armey is a hypocrite! he don't like government control of health care, yet he's had it his whole adult life.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rO_7T2Vcnuk

is this the future of the republican party? yes it is. that's why Constitution Party is taking ground. i like his "no pot" sticker too.

the muslim woman in texas. i would have said to her "what are you doing talking to males that aren't part of your family? you should be flogged. get out!"
  • Good Ol' Al Gore
What a surprise! Al Gore stands to make a profit from an agenda that he is promoting. Is Nancy Pelosi going to complain about his profits, or is that going to be OK, since he's not a greedy insurance company?
  • Is a Muslim headscarf considered a hat?
Is a yarmulke a hat, are there prohibitions at other hospital that apply to the jewish scull cap?
  • Eye Gouging
Little Jimmy climbs up in Santa's lap, believing that he can give him any present that he asks for. "Santa, the only thing I want for Christmas is to play football against the Florida Gators."

Santa looks perplexed, then finally answers.... "Here's a BB gun to play with instead. You can't play football against the Florida Gators. They'll put your eye out kid!"
  • georgehutchins.com
I think this guy might make an excellent representative, and certainly seems to be on the Conservative track, but PLEASE - FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY - HIRE A FREAKIN WEB DESIGNER!!!
  • George Hutchins
    http://www.georgehutchins.com

Not my state but based on his crappy website alone I'd be hard pressed to vote for him.

Why campaign in 2010 using a website that looks like it was created 1998??

I seriously hope he takes $1000+ plus from his campaign funds and hires a real web designer.

Current site looks like it was done by his 14 year old cousin.
  • What idiot thought they would get money back?
I want to know the morons that thought they would get money back from GM and Chrysler. We havent gotten our money back yet from iraq or afghanistan and those cost the taxpayers a lot more.
