The latter constitutional amendments preserve/define our politics. We need to get back to ther first amendments and preserving our freedoms and country - bring it into the 21st century - rethink taxes and religion - only those that don't do harm to our country - construct a fair tax and allow religions that don't promote violence/terrorism/destruction of our way of life - not too many (only one comes to mind).

Something in Islam legitimizes violence. All religions have unbalanced adherents, but only Muslims shoot or blow up people in the name of their religion on at least a weekly basis. We need to deal with this, and if it means targeting or restricting the activities of Muslims, then so be it.

In the US Army every soldier and civilian employee are required to receive annual SAEDA (Subversion and Espionage directed against the US Army) training. Part of this training consists
of informing US Army personnel of their responsibility of alerting superiors of any attempts by anyone who attempt to harm the morale and cohesiveness of any unit of the US Army. I cannot believe that US Army personnel did not notify their unit commanders or Military Intelligence units of their concerns about this commissioned officer. It is not about targeting muslims but rather about following instructions.
