CHANGE?

We at The Neal Boortz show want you to know that we feel your pain. You got suckered. You were fooled. You bought into this "Change you can believe in" nonsense. You even put an "Obama - Biden" bumper sticker on your car. Now you're conflicted. You know that Obama is a complete and utter disaster. You know that the "change" Obama referred to was a change from a free market economy to a government-run economy. You know that Obama's "change" was from a society of opportunity to a society of dependency. But .. do you scrape off the bumper sticker to avoid the horrified or sometimes bemused stares of others on the highway ... or do you leave it there so that whatever liberal friends you still have that believe in the Acorn Administration won't ostracize you? It's a tough choice. Maybe your best out is to just buy a new car.

What others are saying

  • Chains We Can Believe In
I've got to give you credit, Neal. You were the only one in the conservative media with the guts to take a stand in the primaries, and support the only guy with any chance to beat McCain -- Huckabee.

Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter and the rest of the heavyweights stood there like deer in the headlights -- unable to get on board with the only one of that sorry crew who had any chance of stopping McCain.

Thanks, Rush, Coulter, and the rest of 'em for Chains We Can Believe In.
  • NO, NO, not me!!!!!!!
Not for one minute did I buy into the Messiah's BS propaganda....

He was a Black Nationalist POS then, and he is now with a healthy 'dose' of Marxism. Anyone who doesn't see that now is a moron!
  • other people got suckered...
...into thinking that John McCain was somehow different, with a different agenda from Barak Obama's. The incremental degrees as to what to do are smaller however the bigger picture is the same. The 2 candidates just argued in distractions to fool people into thinking they were different. No wonder some of the same large corporations were donating money to both Obama and McCain. I guess those companies knew the same agenda of govt take over, amnesty, unaffordable wars and world policing would come either way. Somehow though those same companies did not seem to be donating to Ron Paul though.....interesting.
  • Take a Look in the Mirror, Neal
"You got suckered. You were fooled. You bought into this 'Change you can believe in' nonsense. You even put an "Obama - Biden" bumper sticker on your car." Etc. etc.

What do you mean "you"? I didn't vote for Obama. Don't point your bony old finger at me, Neal.

Or do you mean ALL the American people are responsible?

Well then, why don't you say "We got suckered. We were fooled." Etc.? If I have to share the blame, Boortz, then so do you.

You're a real paranoid nut case, Neal. You love to point the finger at everyone else in the world - even at your own audience. What the hell is wrong with you anyway? You don't have a single ounce of leadership skill. You're just an hysterical ranter, a big whiney baby.

That's what's wrong with the conservative cause now. No leaders. Certainly not among the trashy chatters on talk radio, who seem to hold their own listeners in utter contempt, just because we're not a bunch of overpaid ass-clowns like they are.
  • @Butt
    Butt,

If you'd give me some of that 'shine, I'd make sure your pizza was nice and hot ;)
  • Poor Carlos
I'm guessing your sister is a public school teacher, otherwise she would probably know the two market segments that crashed were regulated by congress, both houses Dem controlled since 2006, a good 2 years before the crash. But hey, don't let facts get in the way of your opinion.
  • sooooo that's why.................................
hummmmmmm........now that I think of it it makes sense why my pizza is always cold and smells a lil' like gasoline......

a tip could cure that lil' problem????
  • @Ivan
x2 on Ron Paul. His ideas are all we have left to try and turn this thing around....if the GOP think neo-con ideas over tradtional conservative ones are going to win, they have another thing coming.
  • Actually the change Obama was referring to...
...would be the change that will be left in our pockets and all future generations pockets after the country goes bankrupt from trying to police the planet, unaffordable entitlement programs....and the inevitable hyper-inflation that is on its way because refuses to act like America and live within its constitutional means. Thank Bush/Obama...thank you federal reserve.
  • ACORN
When are we going to start funding ACORN again - October 31st has come and gone!
  • It's a real shame
We had a chance to really make a difference and put race aside once and for all. But our first non-white President had to be someone that will not go down in history as a great president, just a black president.

When Hillary was still in the running, I emailed through her campaign website (so I'm sure she never saw it) that as much as I would really love to see the first woman president in my lifetime, I would NOT want it to be her.

Too bad more didn't say the same to Obama.
  • Thanking Obama Voters
I saw a bumper sticker that said, "I voted for Obama. You can thank me later."

Well, you Little Five-Points twit, thanks a lot! Next time, don't do me any favors.
  • Best compliments
I never got as many compliments for any piece of clothing than my Obama/Biden tee shirt. Let me know how many hot girls compliment a W tee-shirt. HAHAHA, might have a better chance getting those compliments at a klan or arab rally
  • Intemperate Thought
I deliver pizza on the side to make a little extra coin. One thing I have noticed- if you come up to a house with an Obama sticker, there is a more than 80% chance you will get no tip or a .13 cent "keep the change" tip! I actually keep a log of where I go and what I get.

Very few minorities ever tip too. Since we know darn near 95% voted for Obama- well there you go!

BTW...good tippers always get hot pizza. If I get dispatched and know I have a good tipper, I always go there first. Those who don't can wait while I get gas in the car!
  • Change
I’m wondering when is this going to be Obama’s economy? At some point!
  • Already...
worse than Bush. This is amazing. Obama is destined to be the biggest failure in the history of the office. The screwed up thing is that it will be seen as HIS fault and not the fault of his puppetmasters. He was destined to fail. From day one. Lets make SURE that Ron Paul gets elected this next time around because it may be our last shot to save our country.
  • Hey Actually, Your a LIBERAL,
why are you even looking at
the church of the painful truth??
Go dry hump your "Messiah" Obama!!!!
  • haha, way to rub it in!
Funny, funny comments Neal! Another commenter has evidently experienced what I have. I work with a gentleman who was all about (I like the guy BTW) Obama during the election. Now, if you bring up anything to do with Obama he says he's not into politics right now.

Sad thing is I think he was one of the smarter Obama voters, and there are a lot left over that will not get over their love affair anytime soon.
  • Change you can believe in?
    Chump change ...

    that's all you have left.
  • Obama bumper stickers
My sister in law still has hers on the bumper of her little Saab convertible. But she's a public school teacher and Obama "saved" her job. Additionally, her retirement portfolio was wrecked by George Bush so she can't retire.
Maybe she can buy some touch-up paint for her Obama sticker.
  • @Hugo Ghost
Well yes, Hugo, there are still a lot of ignorant fools out there that are too fixated on shows like "Wife Swap" to pay any attention to the real world.

    Sadly, that will never change.
  • Obama Stickers
    Don't peel your Obama sticker!
Update it with our KEEP THE CHANGE stickers. They fit right over the Obama "O" to make a real statement!

    See them at http://keepthechangestickers.com/
  • Actually...
Obama's still quite popular. You, on the other hand...well, let's just say the word on the street is that fewer and fewer people are tuning in to the ol' talkmaster. Enjoy your retirement, big guy!
  • Blame Some Else!
Or, you could simply take the typical liberal "out". Blame someone else! "Some eeevil Republican defaced my car & took off my bumper sticker!"
  • CHANGE?
The "Cash for Clunkers" program succeeded in removing Obama bumper stickers from our highways.
  • It's A Tough Chore
My mom is friends with a professor, I think from the DC area. He's a total liberal nutjob. I asked her the other day if he's complaining of pain in his arm from furiously removing his 'Obama' sticker. She told me that, since the inauguration, he has yet to say a single word about Obama or about what a disaster he's creating. There's a LOT of silence going around from those suckers who bought Obama's bullsh*t sales pitch. Even worse, probably 50% of the people who voted for him have absolutely zero idea about what's going on. They got they man in the Big House and that's all they care about. Sad.
