That is fine w/ me, I will remain on my cheaper private insurance so i wont get pushed back in line, and people who want to will take the public option. Win-win. I forgot though that crybaby conservatives are only not crying if Americans lose.

History really repeats itself. For the past 200 years, this US Government took by force, land and possessions from the indigenous population in return to provide them health care (among other things). It's in a treaty! It must be real! That paper gave the US government tremendous power to hunt down and use any force necessary to enforce that agreement. Many men, women, and children died directly by government by government force. And in return? More death from the failure of this US Government to honor its treaty requirements.

Now, the US Government has returned to take by force, prperty from the new indigenous population (citizens of the US) in return to provide them health care. That paper in Congress grants the US Government tremendous power to hunt down and use whatever force necessary to take any and all belongings to satisfy its revenue raising requirements.

That bill in Congress is an Authorization document. It does not appropriate anything; but, it gives the US Government the power to enforce seizures. AND if there is no money in the US Treasury for treatment, well, life sucks. Currently I am paying out of pocket for my mother's cancer treatment because there is no money appropriated for Indian Health Care for her treatment.

A lot of this bill depends on new sources of revenue. Where is the US Government going to find that revenue??? Well, if I manage to make enough money to pay for my mother's treatment chances are this government will come after me for the money. So, let me ask you Mr Snarkybird. Those folks that you talk about needing health care, how happy would they be to find out that the piece of paper they get from the US Government telling them about their new US Government health insurance came at the expense of another person dying? How would they appreciate that? Must be ok. Why? Because being the filthy repugnant sanctimonious thieving liberal that you are, you would bask in the accolades you received from the people that you stole for. That's right, Mr. Snarkybird, you are the thief pretending to be Robin Hood. It's all about YOU and making YOU look like the great savior. It's YOU getting the US Government to steal from someone just as a thief would use a knife in a back alley to steal. And, being the filthy liberal that YOU are, not unlike the KKK of 40 years ago, you would gladly kill a people you find inferior to protect “your own.”
