"When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men living together in society, they create for themselves in the course of time a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that justifies it."

  • Clear image
"...why wouldn't it be very blurry on a bird a few inches from the lens?"

Basic photography. With a very small aperture you can have a depth of field from a few inches to infinity.
  • no way
I'm not buying it. If that's the same camera that is shooting a clear image of the cityscape 1/2 a mile away, why wouldn't it be very blurry on a bird a few inches from the lens?
  • Those weren't Foo birds, were they?
They sure weren't the bluebirds of happiness.
  • It's Australia
Every animal there is either highly venomous or strong enough to rip a grown man apart (except the sheep, and they aren't native). Of coarse they have big birds.
