By now, I am sure you have seen the pictures of "I Swastika Obama" etched into golf course in Massachusetts. The Secret Service is now involved to investigate the incident. Who knows, maybe it will be considered ... wait for it ... a hate crime!

Who does this suck for the most? The owner of the golf course. Whomever vandalized his green should absolutely be held responsible for the damage.

But we will see how far this goes with secret service investigations into a possible threat against Obama.

The Swastika is a super-charged icon ... and even if it does represent the very economic system Obama has brought to this country, it represents so much more. Yes, Obama is an economic fascist. We have to find some other way to bring this to the attention of the American people ... the Swastika ain't it.

    The concept of "Hate Crime" is silly. This in my opinion is a racist / bigot type thing that is fairly unconstitutional. Seriously, a Hate Crime... bull biscuits on that.

    That is the original swastika which means "light" in many ancient religions. If the vandals did that on purpose, it is not a hate crime, it basically says that Obama is the Light. If they are dumb, well...no comment.

    As drawn in the grass (backwards from the Nazi swastiki), it represents veganism! While traveling in Taiwan, I saw this symbol all over the place including Buddhist temples. Also, when looking for a vegan restaurant, you always looked for this symbol. (I am not a vegan btw, but eat that way sometimes).

    So, are the vandals trying to make a 'green' statement? :-)

    If I had to guess, it's because fascists almost always require a cult of personality. In order to support Obama's policies and vision, one has to think that one extraordinary man can run a car company better than a veteran CEO, knows more about banking than lifelong bankers, and knows more about medicine and its funding than any doctor, administrator, or insurance provider. The common thread: these are all greedy institutions who "cheat the poor", and Obama's moral superiority is his quialification and mandate to take control of them all.

    That is why Obama supporters must consider him to be a messiah, not an ordinary man. But leftist values always fail, but don't count on the Obama supporters to rethink their values, no! They will blame the greedy, uncaring Obama haters for not having sacrificed enough.

    But what is that jerk trying to say, "I [backwards swastika] OBAMA"? Since the swastika has been a symbol of peace and eternity since at least the Neolithic period (the stone age)... is he saying that he wants Obama to live and reign on high forever? But since he did it backwards, is he trying to separate the symbol from the traditional or the NAZI use? Is he a Hindu? In Hinduism the left facing swastika is a symbol of involution (the oposite of Evolution) of the universe. The swastika means different things to different Indian tribes in the US. In short, it means a great many DIFFERENT things to a lot of different people throughout history... and to me little of it makes sense in the context of "I [backwards swastika] OBAMA".

    Ya know, I'm not sure if they guy who did this did it intentionally, or was relying on a government school education, but this isn't the Nazi swastika. In fact, the swastika is an ancient symbol that has been used for thousands of years, in just about every corner of the world. Again, not sure if it was intentional, but it is curious it's not rotated or angled the same way as the Nazi swastika.

Apparently half of America thinks that's just dandy. Let's investigate Time and it's portrayal of Bush as Hitler first. If it's wrong now it was wrong then. The travesty is that someone vandalized a golf course, there's the crime; as far as I know speaking out against Dear Leader is not (yet).
