BLACK VOTERS NEED DEMOCRATS

That comes straight from the Obama administration - equal rights for black voters cannot be achieved without the Democrat Party.

Here's the scenario. Voters in Kinston, North Carolina decided that they wanted to get rid of party affiliations for candidates in local elections ... positions like City Council and Mayor. Then along comes Barack Obama's Justice Department. The imperial federal government swoops in to save a small town from its own sovereign ignorance! The Justice Department overruled the voters, decided that partisan were needed in this town so that black voters can get their candidates elected. In this case, black "candidates of choice" were identified by the Justice Department as Democrats. Apparently the Justice Department believes that white voters will only vote for black candidates if they are Democrats. So you get rid of the party affiliations and all of the sudden this is a violation of black voters' right to elect candidates they want!

Bear in mind that this is the same Justice Department that dropped the case against the Black Panthers who were intimidating voters at a voting precinct in Pennsylvania during the election.

  • yeahhhh righhtttt
Fox, experiencing great success right now, is going to take the advice of a koolaid drinking kook like 3. I don't think so.

Oh and love this "all of us" can give them a clean slate, as if she thinks it is up to her and her ilk. LOL, could you BE any more arrogant?

Fox is indeed able to fact check, they are certainly doing a better job than the White House stenographers (what you call media).

I have never before seen such a case of projection in my life. Everything the left is guilty of and have been guilty of for years, they are now projecting onto conservatives. wow
  • Fox and fact Checking
"Obama whines about FoxNews all the time. How dare they fact-check his propaganda. To target a news organization because they won't kowtow to Dear Leader, is something that usually happens in North Korea or Venezuela."

This not the case at all and we know consevatives don't mind spreading more drivel, rhetoric, and misinformation.

Fox is hardly qualified to fact check anyone, given that their stars don't even check their own facts. They have one rule: If it's negative about Obame (true or not) spread it, if it is positive (true or not), ignore it. And also the hate against Obama takes precidence over what is good for the country.

If Fox wants to be credible, kick a few of these conservatives kooks to the curb, then we'll see if thay can be "fair and balanced"

If today they get rid of Beck, hannity, and the rest of the right wingers, then all of us can give them a clean slate and see what they do with it.
  • Great Democrat Champions for Racial Equality
Senator Robert Byrd (D) -- Exalted Cyclops of the Ku Klux Klan

Governor George Wallace (D) -- Segregationist and rascist

David Duke -- Originally Democrat party and KKK Grand Dragon. Left the KKK and switched to call himself a Republican and was repudiated by the party even though he continued to run as one.

Hugo Black (D) -- former US Senator and Supreme Court Justice, member KKK

From personal experience I can tell you that South Florida was rancid with KKK and Democrat politics up into the 1980's. Care to argue? I'll gladly take you into some of the reservations to talk to people beaten by klansmen and never prosecuted by Democrat-run government.
  • Brian Fantana
This is one Conservative American who won't shed a single tear when the day comes that we are engaged in another civil war, and you're on the other end of the battlefield. You morons are responsible for destroying what a lot of real patriots have fought and died for over the past 234 years. I won't weep for you when you're gone.
  • I'm saying it!
    he said whaaaaa????????
Joyce M/B................don't you dare say it!!!!
    By butt neckid

    UN-CONSTITUTIONAL

    hehehe

here I'll say it for you - dumbass
  • he said whaaaaa????????
Joyce M/B................don't you dare say it!!!!

    CARLOS.......two words.....RAC....IST!!
  • Skin color?
I am a bit curious as to why that countrys that are predominately black in population and/or leadership tend to be third world or worse nations?
  • Sounds like proof...
Sounds like proof that the "get rid of party affiliation" thing was justified. If you can't make a decision without party affiliation being listed at the time you vote, you should not be voting.

I'd say the same about "incumbent" being removed, too, but I'm just fine with uninformed masses swooping in and voting against the incumbent without knowing anything about him or the opposition.
  • impartial has left the Justice Department
I’ll address this to Brian since you obviously did NOT go to the source and read about this before posting your insults.

The ELECTION in which the VOTERS decided they wanted to remove the party affiliations was last November and had the highest Black voter turnout in Kinston in decades. This was a decision made by black voters for black voters to have a better choice for themselves.

There has not been a Republican candidate winning a seat in years, white or black. So Democrats would still have been running away with the elections. Refusing to allow this was nothing but a power grab by Loretta King for the Democratic Party.

This would have allowed candidates to stick to more to THEIR principles during campaigning rather than having to knuckle under to the party for their support. This more than anything is the likely reason for the ruling. It helps the party and only the party.

How would you feel if someone threatened you with a weapon to keeping you from voting for the person you wanted to vote for? You and your buddies would make 20 times the scandal from it!
  • Hey brian, speaking of crybabies...
Obama whines about FoxNews all the time. How dare they fact-check his propaganda. To target a news organization because they won't kowtow to Dear Leader, is something that usually happens in North Korea or Venezuela.

What the DOJ pulled is not only discriminatory, but it's a clear violation of voter rights. The townspeople, both white and black, voted for a non-partisan election, but the leftwingnut democrat-controlled DOJ stepped in to override the voters.

Democrats want minorities to stay in lockstep with the Party Line. They figure since 99% of the black community is a monolithic voting bloc, they may as well force the dissidents to get in line, whether they like it or not. The black (and white) people in Kinston need to raise hell about this.
    It's tantamount to government Gerrymandering.
Oh and buy the way, Obama was left a winning hand in Iraq and Afghanistan; the war is his to lose, and he's wasting no time doing it.
  • Trolls
Brian Fontana is just Jimmy Dolan, ignore him.
  • You are wrong Brian
The candidates voted to end it. If you read the article, no one in the town was complaining about anything. The town is 2/3 black. This is all about the federal government sticking their nose where it doesn't belong.
I read the article yesterday, so I'm sure if that is where I saw this, but I read there were only like nine cities or towns that do have party affiliation next to the candidate's name.
  • Brian Fontana: The New Village Idiot
You just don't get it do you? You're so immersed in Obama's backside that you can't see the forest through the trees here. Don't you realize that by doing this the Obama Administration is telling blacks that they are too stupid to vote for someone based on merit and that they are going to make sure they know who the candidate they're supposed to vote for is? Doesn't that strike you as a bit insulting to black voters? That Obama and his merry band of idiots think blacks aren't capable of thinking for themselves. You need to wake up and smell what your master is shoveling. Obama is straight out telling blacks that they are only allowed to vote Democrat and that he's going to make sure they know who the Democrats are so they vote for the right person. Can't have anyone thinking for themselves now can we.
  • non-partisan elections
I live in Houston, TX. We have always had non-partisan elections for city elections.
Democrats want the voter to know immediately who to vote for.
In Houston, we have to do our own homework. I will decide who is the best candidiate. I don't take anyone's "suggestions".
Simply put, it too hard to get your own information, and democrats HATE having to work for ANYTHING.
  • Blacks need democrats?
I find it funny that the blacks "need" the party of slavery and the Ku Klux Klan.
  • It can not be true
I push for non-partisan elections in my community. Does this mean I have lost my battle already? This is so not right. Who do they think they are? I want to have non-partisan elections so anyone can vote for anyone. It has nothing to do with race. Since when has our imperial federal government ever considered "unintended consequences" on anything that they do?
  • Whew, Close call
Someone in Kinston might have voted for a black candidate thinking he or she was a conservative. The Justice department's whip will keep all the "darkys" in order on the ol' plantation.
  • This is legal?
They can do this to a state or local government?

Little note to black voters: these are not your run of the mill democrats, they are progressives. They believe in population control. Guess who's "population" they mostly want to control?
  • Isn't this what started the Civil War?
I know, there is nothing Civil about War, but wasn't this the exact thing that caused the previous "War between the States"? The Federal Government came into a township or a state and said "You can't do this" or "You can't do that"? Look what happened last time this was done.

I know most people have been brought up thinking that the "War between the States" was all about slavery. No, it was about the rights of the states to govern themselves without interference from the Federal Government. Slavery didn't become a focusing issue until President Lincoln and the Abolitionist Movement made it an issue to help them gain support for the war effort.

The slippery slope gets that much more lard spread across it. I've always heard that those who fail to learn history are doomed to repeat it. Sounds like we are paving a way to proving that axiom once again.
  • That's why we call the Democrats the “Party of Projection”, while they incessantly whine about others being Racist, it is they who consistently judge people based on the color of their skin.
Maybe that's makes up for their lack of character.
  • what would you expect
Should anyone expect anything less out of the leftists and Democrats? Whatever happened to the individual? Oops I forgot. The individual went the way of the dodo bird because the leftists and Democrats are built on a coalition of groups of voters based on a group instead of an individual identity.
  • Crybabies at it again
All this deals with is that the candidates have a right to have their party affiliation next to their names. Why is that something for conservatives to cry about?

I also like how conservatives think they are not wimps or crybabies but a PAC scares them away from voting??? First all you have to do is walk around them and second voting only takes a few minutes. No wonder Bush could not lead a successful campaign in 2 arab countries
