Take NC 181 north from Morganton to the Pwky; or if you're already on the Pkwy, simply take NC 181 south. We (my wife and I) were there less than a week ago, 21st. and 22nd. to be exact, and the foliage is still a sight to behold along this lightly traveled route. Enjoy while you can, nuff said.

Ignorant Redneck
Don't know what the deal is with ignorant redneck and hick. Don't know who big Kenny is or what he said but I hear comments made by folks who I suppose are supposed to be super intelligent that make ignorant rednecks sound like super geniuses. Get off the ignorant redneck and hick bandwagon. They seem to be the only ones who have a clue. Since it is politically incorrect to say something about any other selected nationality, skin tone, sexual preference etc I guess hicks and rednecks better petition congress to make them a protected species under the hate speech bill also.
How does one commit a crime against themselves?
Even if we get all the criminal victimizers locked up, it’s still stupid and wasteful to lock up self-victimizers.
The two previous Atlanta Mayors could make almost anyone look good, and perhaps her challenger is better (not a worry of mine), but I think Franklin did much better than I expected.

Sex for tickets?

Trading Sex for noney or tickets should not be a crime
Making this type of transaction a crime is nothing more than government (and police) quest for power. You are right, no one gets hurt. If someone wants to "take a chance" and trade sex for money, baseball tickets, or whatever it is completely their choice. Yes there is a chance that a person can endanger themselves by contracting a dangerous illness, or by coming across a violent and dangerous partner. But if we pay people money to deliberately endanger their lives in such activities as race car driving, boxing, performing stunts, etc why does this differ?
Arresting this woman, with an undercover sting operation is nothing more than the police flexing their muscles and going on a power trip. They should do real police work instead of cowardly assignments such as this one. A pure waste of taxpayer money that serves no other purpose than build a more negative view of the police than what many people already have. People that talk or text on cellphones while driving pose a far bigger threat to society than this woman did.
