"When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men living together in society, they create for themselves in the course of time a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that justifies it."

What others are saying

  • An Inconvenient Tax
Something every American should see, even those in government run schools, but alas that will not happen because the government will lose control.
  • good concept
Documentaries presented in this kind of format are a great way to present this issue to people who otherwise wouldn't take the time and effort to gain a deeper understanding of these critical issues on their own.

I.O.U.S.A. is another video made in the same ilk as this one appears to be that is worth watching. About the fiscal disaster this country is headed to.

  • FairTax is a joke compared to what we really need
Screw the FairTax. Let's abolish the Federal Reserve System and get rid of the debt we're paying that equals the amount of money the gov't takes in through income and payroll taxes combined. Then, we don't need a stupid tax, in any form.
  • Wow Neil
For a man your age you look really good. Oh and I am one of the 18-35 age demo that agrees and has the foresight to realise that it would help the economy.
  • Neal in a Movie
Didn't Brad Pitt start off in a documentary about taxes???
  • I thought of the same thing
I remember I called you Neal, two years ago, and told you we needed a Documentary about the FairTax. I discribed it as "Similar to the Al Gore Movie, An Inconveinent Truth". God, I'm glad you have such a great audience that some took that idea an ran with it.
  • An Inconvenient Tax
It's very scary when a movie about tax reform can actually give you chills. I'm hoping that something might influence enough people to cause a change in this albatross on the people of this nation.
  • Change in Taxes We Can Believe In
Three choices presented, we've tried the Flat Tax during the Reagan years and it got us right back where we are today. The Value Added Tax would stunt business in this country into utter stagnation. Only the FairTax would create the kind of growth and future prosperity that we need.
More important it would eliminate the interface with the government that taxpayers face at tax time. I was going to say year-round, but that's now the same thing.

I thought it was appropriate that when courts are mentioned the clip of a judge shown was from a Three Stooges short.
