One entertaining clip isn't enough today, is it?

Neal is a little under the weather this morning. So Herman Cain is going to warm you up while the Talkmaster rests his voice. Neal will be in at 10am and hopefully his voice will be all ready to go.

Most of you probably already know this, but Herman Cain has his own show on the flagship, News/Talk 750 WSB weeknights 7-10pm. Check it out.

Oh, and check out Herman's plan to end the recession in 12 months. He also brought up his article on the Republican health care plan alternatives.

Well they managed to do it. The Senate Finance Committee passed the Baucus bill, thanks in part to a lone Republican Olympia Snowe, who, of course, voted for the bill. When it came to growing the government and attacking liberty, who didn't know that Snowe would go along with it? She is the only Republican to vote for any of the healthcare bills out there right now. She even got a shout out from the president ... how cool is that?! So now, the Senate must take this bill and work to merge it with another one. In other words, there is still A LOT of work to be done. This is far from over. So that is why I will continue to try to educate you about what we have in these healthcare bills.

The most important thing for you to understand is that this is NOT about improving American health care. It is ALL about controlling American health care. It is a bid for government power; a bid for political power. The ultimate goal is to further entrench the Democrat party in power ... from this day on.

Here's something else for you to gnaw on.

One of the reasons that Olympia Snowe may have voted for the Baucus bill is because of what she calls its "low" price tag -- $829 billion over ten years. But let's take a look at the big picture. Did you know that $507 billion of that $829 billion will be covered by NEW federal taxes and fees? That's not according to some insurance industry reports, that is according to the Congressional Budget Office.

CNSNews has a list of the new taxes and fees included in this Baucus bill:

-- $201 billion in new taxes on high-premium health care plans.

-- $83 billion in new taxes paid by workers who will receive less employer-sponsored coverage or lose that coverage altogether but will be compensated with higher wages or monetary benefits, which are taxable.

-- $23 billion in penalty fees paid by employers who do not comply with the federal insurance mandate.

-- $4 billion in penalty fees paid by individuals who don't have health insurance.

-- $16 billion in new income and Medicare payroll tax revenue due to changes in Medicare.

-- $180 billion in other tax revenues items calculated by the non-partisan Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT).

According to the JCT, this $180 billion in new taxes would include: A new tax on prescription drug makers that would account for $22.2 billion over 10 years; a new tax on medical device manufacturers that would bring in $38.6 billion; and a new annual tax on insurance companies would net the government $60.4 billion.

Are you starting to notice a trend here? More taxes. More government. More bureaucrats. The Democrats are creating bigger government with more strings attached to the purse.

Elections have consequences.

When Barack Obama was elected, he and the Democrats insisted that we could spend our way out of this crisis. Remember that? Remember the $787 billion stimulus bill that needed to be passed IMMEDIATELY in order to start our economy on its way to recovery? Yeah ... the bill that was essentially written by hard-left, anti-capitalistic activist groups like The Apollo Alliance. Well more than six months later, we have unemployment creeping up on 10%. And we have this ..... from Bloomberg:

President Barack Obama's effort to lead the world economic recovery by spending the U.S. out of its recession is undermining the dollar, triggering record commodities rallies as investors scour the globe for hard assets.

Did you hear that, folks? Isn't that just wonderful? Isn't that just the type of change you voted for? All of this spending ... all of this printing of money ... all of these government dreams and schemes and bailouts .... they are starting to affect America. Big time.

The dollar went into "crisis mode" earlier this week when the euro and the yen surpassed the dollar as the favored currency by central banks.

Thank you Oh Great Chosen One ... the American dollar on the back bench. That's the type of change we voted for, isn't it?

Then we get reports like this from the New York Post:

After printing up trillions of new dollars and new bonds to stimulate the US economy, the Federal Reserve chief is now boxed into a corner battling two separate monsters that could devour the economy -- ravenous inflation on one hand, and a perilous recession on the other.

"He's in a crisis worse than the meltdown ever was," said Peter Schiff, president of Euro Pacific Capital. "I fear that he could be the Fed chairman who brought down the whole thing."

Bringing "the whole thing" down! Even MORE change you can believe in!

Don't you see what has happened here, folks? Obama has succeeded in weakening America. Low interest rates, flooding the economy with money by simply printing it, a mounting pile of debt. So now ask you again ... how's this hopey, changey, spendy thing working out for ya? Better yet, how is it going to work out for your grandchildren?

HIGH UNEMPLOYMENT ADDS TO THE DEFICIT

Speaking of unemployment ... that, too, is having an impact on our massive government deficit, which is currently $1.4 trillion in 2009. This makes perfect sense if you think about it.

High unemployment means two things: more taxpayer dollars spent on unemployment checks and less tax revenue. This will cost the government about $100 billion a year.

I bring this up for one reason and one reason only. The Democrat solution to this is to throw more money at the unemployed ... to extend unemployment benefits. In the meantime, they wish to increase taxes on the very people who would be able to create jobs for these people .. to get them off the government dole. Creating jobs, not spending money, is the solution.

There. How hard was that?

THE GREAT SWASTIKA DEBATE

By now, I am sure you have seen the pictures of "I Swastika Obama" etched into golf course in Massachusetts. The Secret Service is now involved to investigate the incident. Who knows, maybe it will be considered ... wait for it ... a hate crime!

Who does this suck for the most? The owner of the golf course. Whomever vandalized his green should absolutely be held responsible for the damage.

But we will see how far this goes with secret service investigations into a possible threat against Obama.

The Swastika is a super-charged icon ... and even if it does represent the very economic system Obama has brought to this country, it represents so much more. Yes, Obama is an economic fascist. We have to find some other way to bring this to the attention of the American people ... the Swastika ain't it.

Residents at an apartment complex in Oregon are ordered to take down American flags because they live in a "diverse community" and the flags could be construed as "offensive."

Here's a must-read: Atlas Shrugs: Doctors 'Going Galt.'

The unions are against the Baucus bill, therefore it will be passed by the Democrats. Case closed. Follow the votes.

Did you know that this Baucus bill increases the size of government by at least $1.8 trillion when fully implemented?

This Baucus bill is nothing but a tax hike dressed in a lab coat.

The Nobel Peace prize committee defends their decision of Barack Obama, saying that they "simply disagree that he has done nothing."

Georgia Senator Johnny Isakson wants to expand the $8,000 first time homebuyer tax credit to all homebuyers.

House Democrats create the Office of Congressional Ethics ... now it's coming back to bite them. Gotta love it.

I know you are looking forward to this. Barbara Boxer is ready to debate her climate change bill in committee.

How many jobs can you buy with $53.4 million in federal stimulus funds? It's government ... so the answer is: not very many.

Yes it is true ... H.R. 45, the Blair Holt's Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act, does exist. But is it going anywhere? I highly doubt that.

Tax breaks for pet care expenses? Yep. It is an idea that is seriously circulating Washington.

Coming soon to your government school: Meatless Mondays.

Then again, maybe the vegetarians are on to something.

Now Obama really is being ranked based on his "hot bod."
