"When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men living together in society, they create for themselves in the course of time a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that justifies it."

Barack Obama: "I only saw Rod Blagojevich one time ... and that was in the stands and from a distance at a Chicago Bears Football Game." [needs citation, I can't find verification that he said this. -ww]

Really? I guess that depends on what your definition of "one" is.

Quite a few Republicans, including House Minority Leader John Boehner, are wringing their hands over PrezBO's visit to Copenhagen to promote the 2016 Olympics for Chicago. They say that there were more important things for Obama to focus on back here. Well ... know what? There are more important things for Republicans to focus on as well. OK ... so the White House first said the president wouldn't go, then he went. Big deal. The point here is if the Republicans get their thongs in a bunch every time Obama wanders off on some quest the people are going to tired of hearing about it ... and they won't pay attention when the important stuff happens. Schmoozing for the Olympics may be important for the people of Illinois and Chicago - it will cost them a bundle - but for the rest of us? Not so much.

Adult male drugs 13-year-old girl. Then he takes some nude pictures. Then he sodomizes her. Then he runs to avoid jail. He manages to escape justice for 30 years and is finally caught. Extradition proceedings are initiated. Hollywood comes to his rescue and wants all forgiven. Lesson? Rape a 13-year-old, and if you can just hide long enough all will be forgiven ... at least by the Hollywood culture; if, that is, you have some talent important to Hollywood. If you're a gardener things might be different.

So ... what if you had a 13-year-old daughter. Here's how you might try to explain the Polanski situation to her.

That's the only explanation for this Florida congressman's completely bizarre behavior. I don't care whether he is (as he will remind you every time he gets a chance) a Harvard educated trial lawyer. The man has a screw loose.

Can you believe this moron? You people in Central Florida have a lot of work to do ... getting this guy out of office next November. I hope that Alan Grayson serves as a severe reminder that elections have consequences.

Yesterday you heard me ranting and raving about Alan Grayson's comment that he made on the floor of the House. He said something to the effect of "Republicans want you to die quickly." Yep, that's about the most intelligent argument he could come up with.

So many people have called for Grayson to apologize. Screw apologize. There is only one way to really take care of this creep and that is to vote his butt out of office. But until then, you have to put up with this clown. And now it is looking like he is doing it just for show. Just to get attention. I say that because of his ridiculous "apology" that he issued yesterday about his comments. Instead of saying that he was sorry of accusing Republicans of wanting people to "die quickly," he mockingly and sarcastically gave an apology to "the dead."

Here's the quote: "I would like to apologize," he said. "I apologize to the dead and their families that we haven't voted sooner to end this holocaust in America."

Yes, folks. You read that right. Alan Grayson DID just compare our healthcare system in America to the holocaust. To the systematic killing of six million people. He compared Hitler's genocidal attempt to wipe out the Jewish people to the American system of health care. Hitler's concentration camps are our hospitals. Our intensive care units compare to Hitler's gas chambers. Hitler's wrist tattoos are our hospital ID bracelets.

You can't really accurately convey the outrage of Grayson's statements. The only reasonable conclusion you can draw here is that Alan Grayson is mentally disturbed. Nothing else works.

In the meantime, the Jewish vote will continue to go Democrat.

Because despite what it may seem, the debate is far from over. The statists can be very patient. They will outwait public opinion. They know that soon you will refocus on Jennifer Anniston and college football. Oh yeah .. the Republicans managed to defeat two amendments to include the government option in the Senate healthcare bill. That doesn't mean that it is dead, folks.

NO BAD IDEA FOR AMERICA
IS EVER A DEAD IDEA IN OUR CONGRESS

Now, when it comes to this healthcare debate, we have heard Barack Obama say time and time again, "But where are the Republicans' plans?" Essentially the Democrats are trying to paint the Republicans as bumps on a log with no real ideas of their own. Well that turns out to be far from the truth.

Take this for instance. Republican Senator Chuck Grassley proposed an amendment that would require immigrants to prove their identity with photo IDs in order to sign up for government healthcare programs. This seems like a pretty logical amendment right? I mean, consider the fact that Barack Obama himself has promised that no illegal immigrants would have access to the government healthcare system.

Let me give you a hint: they are just blowing smoke. If the Democrats were serious about limiting access to government healthcare to legal immigrants, then an amendment like Grassley's should be a no-brainer. So, what do you think happened to this amendment? Well, you're right. It was defeated on a party-line vote.

But this goes back to what I have been telling you for months. This isn't really about healthcare. This isn't about your healthcare costs. It isn't about having better access to doctors or better prescription coverage ..... this is all about politicians and power. Period. End of story.

GUN LAWS BACK IN THE SUPREME COURT

If you'll try and think back to last year, the right to bear arms claimed a major victory. The Supreme Court ruled that the Second Amendment protects the individual right to bear arms, not just the right of a state militia. Careful. That Supreme Court ruling applied to a district that was under federal control; the District of Columbia. Now we're talking about states and cities, and another gun control case has made the docket. This time around, the Supreme Court is going to decide whether state and local gun control laws can be challenged under the Second Amendment.

I believe that the Supremes will do anything they can to rule that the Second Amendment was the ONLY amendment in the Bill of Rights that granted power to the government instead of the people. In other words, the pudding is getting deeper.

You don't think the government would ration your health care? Well ... read this and get back with us.

Don't tell the liberals, but the Patriot Act (which they so love to hate) helped to stop the recent New York terrorist plot.

Alan Grayson played NFL football? Why didn't we all know this?

Need a good laugh? The earth has been cooling for almost 10 years now, but the governor of Tokyo says that the 2016 Olympics could be the last ... because of global warming. Where do we hatch these idiots?

The sixth in the Ann Coulter series of columns dealing with "Liberal lies about health care."

Barack Obama wants to spend $5 billion in economic stimulus to fund medical research.

Apparently Nicolas Sarkozy believes Barack Obama to be "incredibly naïve and grossly egotistical."

Three dangerous stooges ... (no, Obama isn't one of them).

Obama and rogue nations run by dictators. Quite a few blooming love affairs out there.

Barbara Boxer and John Kerry have introduced a new cap-and-trade bill. I'm sorry, did I say cap-and-trade? I meant to say pollution reduction bill.

Abstinence education. $50 million that belonged to someone else seized and wasted.

I love this. Hugo Chavez and Muammar Gaddafi want to redefine the word "terrorism." Could you think of any two people who would do a worse job of redefining the word "terrorism" than these two jokers?

A woman wants to sue her landlord for damages she incurred because of her neighbor's cigarette smoke.

The Supreme Court is going to decide whether the family of an illegal immigrant who did not receive medical care for cancer while in custody can sue federal medical officials for damages.

Your tax dollars at work ... over $1 million for some college professor to study grandparents in Alaska.

The CATO Institute has a new website called Downsizing the Federal Government. Because lord knows we could use less imperial federal government in our lives.

The government wants us to eat more fruits and veggies.

In Los Angeles, a city council has ordered that all new buildings -- including homes -- must have an anti-graffiti coating.
