If Obama is so focused on health care reform, could someone please tell me why there are so many parts of the ObamaCare plan that benefit labor unions and promote unionization? Just another indication that this is not about health care, it's about control --- and paying off your friends.

Remember Neal... this new series of programs will increase the gov't employee rolls by 100,000s if not millions (1.4 million in the UK's much smaller populated-version). All committed Democrat voters and union members forever.
It’s obviously to save money and bring down health care costs.
Giving the unions special consideration and unionizing more health care workers is sure to improve quality and reduce health care costs, right? How much more obvious can they be?
And they wonder why people aren't going for it.

Health care vs. health insurance
If the govt really cared about your health CARE, they wouldn't be passing this bill. They are keeping the ties of insurance to your employer (which most people think is awful). They are fining employers for not having coverage (which only increases costs for employers, will decrease your paycheck, and well, how does it work exactly? i mean, if i get coverage from my spouse, well, i don't need my employer to pay for it - but do they still get fined? Is that fair? Will employers only want to hire employees that already have coverage? Why are we penalizing employers, when the system is so horrible?). If the govt cared, they would just open up clinics for anyone who wants a free one. Then whoever wanted to go there, well, they could go. If they cared about CARE - well, then they'd do something about health CARE not insurance. It doesn't matter if anyone has insurance, it only matters if they have health CARE. (this coming from someone who can't even get an appt with my own doctor *sigh* - how is ANYTHING the govt does going to change that? They're not goign to mandate people go to med school, are they?)
"Tell the Truth"
The same intellectually challenged commentator that last month cried on air, "the reason people are losing their houses and defaulting on their mortgages is because of catastrophic illness and the cost of health care in this country". Frankly, there are NO journalists or investigative reporters on televised news. We have commentators reading copy and party talking points; or spouting opinions while bending or denying facts.

Good it better not pass. This shows us their intentions. That says alot. It says to me we CAN NEVER allow Republicans OR Democrats get elected again. We need people in office who have Ron Paul's political philosophy. Until then the American people will continue down the road of tyranny and will never know true freedom.
