HERE WE GO AGAIN WITH THIS VAST RIGHT-WING CONSPIRACY NONSENSE

Back in the 90s when news broke about Billy's affair with Monica Lewinsky, Hillary came up with this line about a "vast right-wing conspiracy." Remember that? All this was just a plot of the vast right-wing conspiracy to ruin her husband's presidency! Well it seems as though Barack Obama, too, is going to suffer at the hands of the evil right-wing conspirators. That is, according to Bill Clinton.

Clinton says that the right-wing conspiracy that once targeted him is now focusing on Barack Obama. He says that "their agenda seems to be wanting him to fail."

See, this is a typical Clinton way of thinking. When things start to go downhill, blame it all on the vast right-wing conspiracy!

Barack Obama can't get healthcare legislation passed, because of the vast right-wing conspiracy.

Barack Obama can't commit more troops to Afghanistan, because of the vast right-wing conspiracy.

Barack Obama can't stand up to Iran or Russia or Venezuela or North Korea, because of the vast right-wing conspiracy.

Barack Obama can't convince the American public that we must pass global warming legislation, because of the vast right-wing conspiracy.

Barack Obama can't stimulate our economy to create more jobs, because of the vast right-wing conspiracy.

Are you starting to understand how this works now, folks?

Same BS as usual, everything that goes wrong in the liberal world is the right wings fault. Libitards never, ever take responsibilities for anything.

I spent 16 years on a (gestapo-runned)I mean government run indian reservation. I've got news for you.
The downfall of our nations were not white europeans. The french, chinese, spanards etc. were all here vying to take over our nation, had split it up and killed as many of us as they could, 119 years before white man showed up. The whites just beat all the other europeans back for it. Thus why we have so much anamosity from europeans, they were sent packing.

Libitards have done MORE to screw American Indians then any other political party.

Thanks to the bleeding heart libs. we got
    1. shacks built for homes, without heat.
    2. a trading post run by union thugs that cash checks, set the prices for everything, since the government competes with no-one; and when the thugs are done, you have no money and barely enough food to eat. But, booze is always available.
    3. We have government healthcare that amounts to none since there is NO access to real doctors, other than community doctors, that don't get paid squat and don't give a damn about us period, and is usually miles away. Forget hospitals.
    4. We have third world conditions on our reservations.
    5. And until 1983 and thanks to President Ronald Reagan for stopping the practice. Unauthorized, purposeful secret sterilization of Indians females after child birth was widespread. Bet you didn't know that?
Can you imagine the libitard calls of racism had they perhaps been blacks?

Thanks to libitards, we were rounded up, coraled, placed on a (plantation) I mean reservation. So that the libitards could resolve their issues with white quilt. And that is why the 250 million Indian population is now only 50 million strong after hundreds of years.

  • change
I watched the freedom rally of taxpaying teabaggers on c-span, on Sept. 12th. A black man got on the podium to speak and he said and I quote.

"Did you think you heard hope and change? What obama meant was ropes and chains." Gotta love it.
    Creek Woman
  • Hope and change
Change is not necessarily a good thing. Two years ago, our economy was the strongest in the world. That has changed. We had the strongest military in the world. That has started to change. We had the political will to do difficult things in the world in order to keep the world safe, that has changed. Investors were enthusiastic about investing in America, that has changed. All of the changes that Obama has done have HURT America's security, economy, and confidence.

His actions have had the same effect as an economic terrorist attack.

    I hope it changes.
  • LET US NOT FORGET...
The greater story about Bill Clinton's conduct dealt with denying justice to a woman (who filed a sexual assault charge against him) by covering up evidence of a pattern of behavior.

The major issues were: (1) obstruction of justice (resulting from his perjury); (2) perjury (regarding Lewinski & Flowers); & (3) intimidation of victims (regarding Willey, Broaddrick, & more).

The affair with Lewinsky, which should have been no more than a minor sideshow, has been transformed into the main event.

It is the Leftist media's M.O. to protect their heroes at all costs. By downplaying the REAL story & emphasizing an ANECDOTE, they count on the U.S.A.D.D.'s short attention span to forget the real issue.

I also believe that Kenneth Starr under-prosecuted the case--professional courtesy, I guess.
  • Twice!!!!!!!!
Point one: Both of the Clintons are jerks.

Point two: YOU voted for Bill TWICE to be YOUR President. And you almost got the Hildabeast as your President this go round! She will probably be the next President after the Obamanation is finished.

Point three: This pattern is indicative of the true nature of the present American public. i.e. IT SUCKS!
  • The Right-Wing Conspiracy Brings Down Republicans
Yes, there is a right-wing conspiracy to bring down Obama. (Just as there would have been the same conspiracy to bring down Hillary had she won.)

But Clinton is right. It's not as effective as it used to be, mainly because there are now outlets on the internet and, even, the mainstream media to expose the right's propoganda.

Obama's approval ratings are down to the mid-50s, but Republican congressional approval ratings are in the teens. It seems the more the right trashes Obama, the lower the public's opinion of the Republicans. So, keep it up!
  • Monica is a racist. I met her once and she whouldn't even su.......nevermind.
  • re Joyce hmmmmmmmmmm
Can you say 'paid left wing troll'? Which is really sad considering the TQQ (troll quality quotient). Someone is not getting what they are paying for.

The other possibility is that it is some sad home schooled teen who does not leave their room. That would explain alot.
  • @3mbw
You typed: "Barring some drastic turn, in 2012 we will reelect the real president we elected in 2008."

Right. Thanks for the laugh, I needed that.
  • Why the vast right wing lost in 2008
We had to choose between a fake Democrat and a real one.

War Hero doesn't sell like it used to. Sen. McCain will be revered for his service in Viet Nam. His antics in the Senate were his undoing. Having President Bush being associated with the right wing was bad enough; imagine having McCain in there as well...
  • here we go!!!
Barack Hussein Obama, can't get anything done because of the vast right-wing conspiracy. mmm, mmm, mmm.
  • Vast "Right-Wing Conspiracy"
Vast Conspiracy seems like an Oxymoron. Conspiracy = hidden, which is pretty much not happening when it is vast. I do think the term Vast is accurate, since almost 60% of the general public (over 70% of independents and over 80% of Republicans) are opposed to government-provided or mandated health care. The majority are in favor of some of the Republican proposals, including Tort Reform and more competition (no state mandates, allowing for more competition from other states).

I understand the "Right-Wing", since most of those opposing this are fiscal conservatives. Theoretically, fiscal conservatives should be in favor of less government spending and this tends to be one of the defining principles of the "Right" (and many independents/Libertarians).
  • hmmmm
Don't know 'bout the rest of you, but the only reason I have the time to post here is because our business is down almost 50%. So if 3's business is doing so well, why is she here all the time?????
  • Now you're just being nasty!
Barring some drastic turn, in 2012 we will reelect the real president we elected in 2008.
    By 3mbw

Don't say things like that! I just had lunch!

somebody make her stop, that's just scary....

What did Rush say? I don't listen to him so have no idea what you are drooling on about.

And those websites? HA!! yeah I've been to some of those, talk about hate speech.

No I and the majority here are going on what we see, not what we hear. But if it makes you feel better to think "all conservatives are crazy" like your lefty media tells you to think, you go right ahead.
  • Vast Right Wing Conspiracy?
Not so vast - couldn't even win an election.

Slow Right Wing Conspiracy - too many mistakes.

    Slow Wrong Wing Conspiracy ...

    Wing, wing, wing ...

    Heh woe?
  • Obama approval ratings
"I suppose you're going to blame his rock-bottom approval ratings on the "vast right wing conspiracy" too?"

His approval ratings are hardly "rock bottom". And ratings are the toys of pollsters and have no real meaning.

What you are seeing is similar to what we had last week. Our store had a stockroom that needed cleaning and reorganizing. Everyone supported this and was enthused about getting it done. That is until they realized that this meant someone would have to sweep, someone would have to sort out recyclables from trash, Someone would have to take out the trash, etc. Enthusiasm waned as people actually had to do work, but support for the overall goal remained the same. Same principle here. Obama's support is strong, but the reality that we will have to work to make these things happen rains on the parade.

"I can't wait until we elect a real president in 2012."

Barring some drastic turn, in 2012 we will reelect the real president we elected in 2008.
  • Smears
"Smear campaign would only apply if any of the charges are not true. Disprove any lately 3? Didn't think so."

I don't have to, there are entire websites devoted to debunking the lies and misinformation, at least those that aren't so obvious that even a young teenage would know aren't true.

yet the conservatives beleive these lies without question. "Rush said it, that settles it" seems to be the mantra
  • @3mbw
I think Obama plays "this President" on TV. I suppose you're going to blame his rock-bottom approval ratings on the "vast right wing conspiracy" too?

I can't wait until we elect a real president in 2012.
  • Ohhhh there goes 3 again
Yeah we're so hateful, you don't want to get caught in a protest, they'll tear you apart!

You just wish it was talk radio or racism or whatever excuse you're spewing this week. That would make it soooo much easier to understand, Then you wouldn't have to listen to the real reasons and wonder "what if they are right"!

Smear campaign would only apply if any of the charges are not true. Disprove any lately 3? Didn't think so.

Ya know, until you can come up with something concrete, you need to go sit in the corner and read a book. Try Atlas Shrugged.
  • Vast?
If the right wing were vast to begin with, wouldn't they have won the election?
  • Clinton almost gets it
He understated the problem. What we have now is an orchestrated smear campaign led by, not the republican party, but rather the personalities in talk radio, Fox news, etc, that the Republicans have chosen to be subservient to. It is extremely hateful and the perpetrators care nothing about the truth, only their agenda to tear down this President.
  • STFU
Its time that BJ join Jimmah and STFU!
  • OFFICIAL
Now that Bill Clinton has officially declared Obama another victim of the omnipotent VRWC, guess Obama better be sure to keep his pants zipped. After all, nobody knows better than Clinton the lengths to which the VRWC will go to destroy those politicians with whom we disagree.

But remember Bill, we couldn't have accomplished it without your full cooperation. Right Monica????
  • A peanut amongst the poo
If you watch the clip Billy says that this alleged conspiracy is smaller than the one the one aligned against him. He specifically said this was due to our Country's "CHANGING DEMOGRAPHICS". This from the man who cheered (along with a few hundred deluded Portland State University students in 1998) the announcement that in 2050 (now revised to 2042) whites would become a minority in America.

To label the opposition a "conspiracy" is just more asinine name calling.

But, his observation that America's "changing demographics" has something to do with the political balance of power is worth thinking about. The tea party, fair tax, pro constitution crowd is overwhelmingly white. This fact has not gone unnoticed by the Socialists, hence the recent hullabaloo over the "racisss" opposition to Obama.

America is an outgrowth of Christianity and English civilization. Its roots are European. The previous waves of immigrants who came to its shores not only deliberately assimilated, but embraced a common national identity: They became Americans. Their children and grand children are attending tea parties. They comprise the so called “vast” right wing conspiracy, and they are not the problem. The problem is the sincerely vast multicultural Marxist conspiracy that is hell bent on “change”. They seek the dispossession and ultimately the destruction of pre-1965 America.

Instead of scouring the crowds to find and photograph a few token minorities, instead of cowering and screaming ‘We’re not racisss!!!...’, how about reversing the criticism and asking why are our newly immigrated third world friends not joining us in these protests? Why don’t they care about the Constitution? Why do they seem to love Socialism? Why are they not assimilating with us? They are certainly welcome, are they not? You’d be hard pressed to find a safer environment than a tea party…

I personally believe we have passed the tipping point and that we can’t vote ourselves out of this mess. Having read this board since its inception I know that most of you still believe you can fix things through your elected officials (a European notion that is becoming more quaint by the hour). Well, I hope you’re right and I’m wrong. But no matter… The real fight is on the horizon with the next push for amnesty, and if the vast right wing conspiracy fails to stop it, well, mmmmmmmm mmmmmm mmmmmm.
  • Of Course!
Of COURSE the right wing of the U.S. want Obama to fail. Why wouldn't we? We don't agree with anything he's going for.

It's far from a "conspiracy" though. I mean, we're pretty up-front about how we feel.

And is he saying that the Dems don't conspire against their opponents?
  • wellll it depends on what.........................
heyyyyy......bill what do you mean is is is.......huh?????

do I want a cigar?????? a luinski???? hell no!!!

wait I'll give it to a friend......
  • VRWC
I'm sure next week's issue of Newsweek will tie things together...."VAST RIGHT WING CONSPIRACY, RACISM, AND YOU - how the conspiracy went after America's first black President, and how they're going after the second
  • Common knowledge
What exactly are yall denying? That there is no conspiracy or that you don't want him to fail?

This isn't so much a conspiracy as it is common knowledge.

The vast majority of the right wing want Pres. Obama to fail and those pushing hardest have said so publicly.

This just goes along with the description that the right has become the party of 'No'.

    Nuff said ...
  • Fighting the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy
Perhaps if President Obama spent a little more time in Washington he might actually start governing the damn country. It's not a right- wing conspiracy that is undermining all his programs, it's the "Pogo Conspiracy."
  • You Bet
I am a proud member of the VRWC and I want my t-shirt.
  • Right wing conspiracy
Hey we need to turn this into a song.

Barack Obama can't get healthcare legislation passed, because of the vast right-wing conspiracy. MMM

Barack Obama can't commit more troops to Afghanistan, because of the vast right-wing conspiracy.MMM

Barack Obama can't stand up to Iran or Russia or Venezuela or North Korea, because of the vast right-wing conspiracy.MMM
  • The only conspiracy I see
The conspiracy to convince the average american that health insurance companies are your friend.

The conspiracy to convince the average american that it was the democrats fault that we are in this recession after 8 years of total domination by the republicans.

The conspiracy to lead the average american that spending 800 billion on iraq was just jim dandy but if we vote to spend 1 trillion on ourselves to improve _our_ roads and bridges that is just the worst thing ever.

The conspiracy to blame Obama for everything when he hasn't even been involved in politics long enough to have made a difference.
  • I got your Vast Conspiracy right here
Imagine the difference in our world if Clinton had fallen prey to the Vast Right Hand Conspiracy. When Monica walked in a few minutes later he would just say, "Not right now, I'm good", and gone back to work.
  • Vast Ring-Wing Conspiracy
This is the reason I have not been able to lose weight...a vast right-chicken-wing conspiracy.
  • It's Bush's fault!
The Democrats control both halves of Congress and the Executive Branch - 2/3rds of the Federal Government of the most powerful country in the world.

But it's Bush's fault they can't get anything done.
  • Cookie Jar?
    Matt,

I find that calling Ms. Lewinsky that to be quite humorous.

    Thank you.
  • Why do some politicians....
...always speak to the American people like they're children?

In other words, "right wing conspiracy" translates to "all the people who don't agree with our agenda." But they need to make sure you know what to think and don't go looking at mere facts.
  • Rofl
Bill people are now learning of a REAL conspiracy that you are part of and that is the New World Order.
  • Ann was Right!
Ann Coulter has a full chapter in her book 'Guilty' about this farse of a "vast right-wing conspirancy" Go away, Bill!
  • Not a Conspiracy
It's not a "vast right-wing conspiracy". I like to think of it more as the "Great Awakening of 2009". As more and more people discover just who Barack Obama is and what he represents, more and more of his policies, socialist dreams and ambitions will fall by the wayside. It's easy to blame an unknown, unseen "right wing conspiracy" for your failings. It's more difficult to admit your overall ideology is fatally flawed.
  • Hold it a sec
Vast right-wing conspiracy? But I thought disagreeing with PrezBO was racism! Dang it, Neal, I'm all confused now! Which label am I wearing this week? "Racist" or "Vast Right-Wing Conspirator?"
  • problem is politics, not Dems
Anyone who buys into Neal's suggestion that this is somehow a problem unique to Democrats or liberals is a sucker. Both sides do this -- GOP apologists said the MSM was biased against Bush, yet it was Charles Krauthammer who coined the term Bush Derangement Syndrome. If Krauthammer or Boortz were more intelectually honest they would coin the term Party In Power Derangement Syndrome.
  • Bill Clinton?
Just like Obama, Bill Clinton aided and encouraged America's enemies at every oppurtunity.

Remember in 1998, when Bill Clinton GAVE North Korea two light nuclear reactors? Our military Generals warned that those reactors can be easily modified and used to make bombs. Now, ten years later, North Korea is a hostile, nuclear-armed country. Thanks, Bill!
  • You forgot to mention that it was a vast right-wing conspirancy who are all RACISTS!
  • Growing larger
It would seem that Mr. Clinton and President Obama seem to grow the right wing conspiracy, and Mr. Bush (both of them) seem to stem the tide of growth. See RasmussenReports website for details on the daily presidential tracking poll.

I sincerely applaud Mr. Clinton and President Obama for their help in this matter.
  • Tired of the double standards!
Sure, blame the repubs for all the failures. But, God forbid us from blaming the libs and elite media and their negative reports on the war during the Bush years. This is getting old. I'm just glad to see it looks like people are starting to wake up and ignore these asinine arguments.
  • Last 8 years
Awl, poor baby! Sometimes I wonder if these people say things just to see if they can get away with it. "Tolerance for thee, but no tolerance for thee" is the phrase for this specific double standard.

And another thing, what's the deal with it being so difficult in Washington for the majority party to implement its agenda? I found it odd how cowardly the Republicans acted during their 6 years of complete control, and now the socialists have huge numbers in DC (to the point of having a fillibuster-proof majority in the Senate) and the majority party still can't get anything passed. Not that I'm complaining while Obama's around, but it's all so very odd.
  • less relevent this time
"Barack Obama can't get healthcare legislation passed, because of the vast right-wing conspiracy."

They hold the majority in both chambers on capitol hill.

"Barack Obama can't commit more troops to Afghanistan, because of the vast right-wing conspiracy."

They hold the majority in both chambers on capitol hill.

"Barack Obama can't stand up to Iran or Russia or Venezuela or North Korea, because of the vast right-wing conspiracy."

He has no desire to stand up because he believes it is the United States that is wrong.

"Barack Obama can't convince the American public that we must pass global warming legislation, because of the vast right-wing conspiracy."

They hold the majority in both chambers on capitol hill.

"Barack Obama can't stimulate our economy to create more jobs, because of the vast right-wing conspiracy."

Wouldn't work with or without the alleged vast right-wing conspiracy.
  • Signature Bill Clinton
Look...Let's face it. Clinton was a President who had his hand caught in the cookie jar. Memories about the 90's are starting to fade, but I recall it was the "blame everyone else" decade. Billy and Hilly were two of the best at that. Only under President Obama, it's worse! Now, we are at a position where the President has a vandetta against these "evil people". When we get some serious people back in the government who care about the COnstitution, I would like to see some hearings into the unethical acts of this administration- especially where contracts were broken between companies and private citizens.
  • Obama success not important
It is not important AT ALL if Obama fails or succeeds. The success of America is all that matters and I'm not convinced Obama is the way to achieve that. Obama is at best, a temporary employee of the American people. Presidents come and go. Success of the American people can only be hampered by interference from government.

We need to be free to succeed and free to fail as well! Long lasting success is often preceeded by several failures. Ask most successful people, they have failed in some endeavor at least once.

We don't need the government trying to "pick us up" at every step. Just back off and we'll do just fine with a few stumbles.
  • Conspiracy
The conspiracy being perpetrated on the nation's public are the ideas, policies and "promises" that all these fee and tax increases on businesses and the "Obamacare" legislation comes at no additional costs to the middle and lower income Americans. WAKE UP !
