OK .. you see those lyrics I have posted? Here's one of the verses:

He said red, yellow, black or white
All are equal in his sight.

Well, that's just mighty fine, isn't it?

Now ... take a look at this verse of a hymn written by Rebecca St. James.

Jesus loves the little children,

All the children of the world.

Red and yellow, black and white,

All are precious in His sight,

Jesus loves the little children of the world.

Yup .. there you go. You know that song, don't you? Most of us sang "Jesus loves the little children" when we were little children! Now they've taken this song and substituted Obama for Jesus! Amazing!

    absolutely nothing wrong with this verse, even if you are christians dont you think having kids have the idea that everyone is equal a good thing, you guys are taking this too serious. O and i think those four colors are the only colors that can acually describe White people Black people Indians(red) yellow(....pale people...) anyways, the point i am trying to make is that the purpose of this song is to make the kids think no-one is better than another just because of the color of their skin - stop creating hate, god would not want it!

    I KNOW the significant difference was shown with that dual frame comparing the 'TEA PARTY" demonstrators VS. the G20 Demonstrators!

    The song you referred to was in praise to Congress, Bush and FEMA People, not to President Bush alone. Just because President Bush was mentioned does not mean the song was to praise President Bush alone...

    The Obama song however was a form of idol worship and that is very disturbing...

    Here we were calling all these people idiots for declaring Obama to be the "anti-christ" who with the silvery tounge and talks of peace would bring the world to his knees? Love the point there about the christian song.

    On another note, I am glad they finally admitted it by implication, that when Kanye West and the "black community" came out in protest of how the white president Bush handled policy regarding Katrina, they were just being racist. I mean "George Bush doesn't care about black people" and all, so since the line was drawn there I guess it is all about race both ways, eh?

    Interesting, but kids are no longer allowed to sing "Jesus Loves Me" in school. So, kids can praise Obama but not Jesus in public schools now. What's wrong with this picture?

    The principal of that NJ school said the children were singing that song as part of Black History month activities.

    Our country's stood beside us People have sent us aid. Katrina could not stop us, our hopes will never fade. Congress, Bush and FEMA People across our land Together have come to rebuild us and we join them hand-in-hand!

    This was a chant sung by children to the Bush administration..... So what's the problem?

  • Jesus Loves the little Children
    While I'm sure Rebecca St. James recorded a fine arrangement of the song, she did not write it. It was written in the late 1800's by Clare Herbert Woolston (lyrics) and George Frederick Root (music).

    It is one of the most well known children's songs in Christendom. I'm sure Rebecca St. James grew up singing it in Sunday School in Australia; just as my wife grew up singing it in Sunday School in Scotland, and I grew up singing it in Sunday School in the United States.
