Never Forget ...

In our time we have come to live with moments of great crisis. Our lives have been marked with debate about great issues; issues of war and peace, issues of prosperity and depression. But rarely in any time does an issue lay bare the secret heart of America itself.

Rarely are we met with a challenge, not to our growth or abundance, our welfare or our security, but rather to the values and the purposes and the meaning of our beloved Nation.

This was the first nation in the history of the world to be founded with a purpose. Americans have fought and died for two centuries, and tonight around the world they stand there as guardians of our liberty, risking their lives. Remember them ... honor them.

On 9/11/2001 our country was attacked by mongrels that believe in taking innocent lives as a way of life. Innocent men and women died that day. In just 8 years, many have forgotten what happened that day. Many have turned their backs on what happened and do not acknowledge who was behind the attacks.

I say to you now, Never Forget ...

As an architect, if fire can't melt steel, then I've wasted a lot of time specifying fire-resistant coatings on steel structures. Yes, folks, heat from burning regular old building materials will compromise steel to the point of collapse. I'm no Charlie Sheen, but it seems to me that the impact, coupled with the temperature at which jet fuel must burn, would be enough to collapse the buildings. I could go into how the structural arrangement of the WTC towers contributed to the progressive collapse, but I'm afraid I'll start sounding like ed davis. Hey, ed, I have a thesaurus too.

Viggo, take a look at the buildings surrounding the towers. Note Bld 7 was not next to the towers, but one building over and across a street. Oh yes, lots of debris fell, you can see the destruction of the debris on the buildings NEXT to the towers. Then look at Bld 7, virtually no damage, yet Bld 7 collapses in FREE FALL meaning the support from underneath was knocked out all at the same time. Do you suppose debris fell from hundreds of feet above, hit the ground then shot sideways hundreds of feet taking out all the support columns and yet left the upper exterior virtually untouched? Now THAT sounds like a conspiracy theory.
You are partially right about one thing REAL engineers have gone over the evidence available and they say Bld 7 was a controlled demolition. Hundreds of engineers, architects and demolition experts all say it was a controlled demolition. Yet 2 yes count them 2 NIST (see Government) engineers say otherwise. These 2 same engineers originally claimed the building was never in FREE FALL and only after they were pressed with FACTS did they concede that yes, there was FREE FALL.
Look at the FACTS, not what the powerful FEW tell you.

They have testimony from an FBI agent that has first hand knowledge that Osama Bin Laden was an active operative for the CIA all the way up until the day of 9/11. There is physical evidence of active thermitic material in the rubble of the WTC towers. I can go on and on. The case the truthers have is pretty darn impressive. They were able to put all of this together without even having subpoena power. Imagine what they would uncover if they were allowed such access. They have proven time and again that MUCH of what happened that day has been twisted or just flatly left out. Think about what I just told you. 6/10 of the men who put the official story together now call it a complete fraud. That by itself warrants a new investigation. How can you trust the official story when the men who wrote it deny its validity. Deniers amaze me.

I have been reading the "facts" listed on the Truthers websites and still have not read anything that warrants a new investigation of of 9-11.

Well this year the news coverage of 9/11 looks pretty light, hardly a mention of it at all, but when in the world are they going to stop reading the long list of names of the people who died that day, year after year?

They never did this for Pearl Harbor, and they don't read the names of any other people who died that day or any other day in equally tragic circumstances.

I'm sure *someone* died in a car accident in Kansas on 9/11 and it was a huge tragedy to that person's family, but his life doesn't deserve to be remembered on national television because he didn't happen to die in the World Trade Center? What about the soldiers who have died in war since then keeping terrorists away from U.S. soil? Don't they deserve to have their names read? Where do you draw the line?
