Well .. who didn't see that coming? One of the first calls out of the box today was our leftist friend Thomas. He blamed the hanging of that census worker in Kentucky on ... guess who? Why Republicans, of course!

The chanting schoolchildren? You'll see the link below in the Nuze. We've identified the school. It is the B. Bernice Johnson Elementary School in Burlington, New Jersey. Ohhhh ... notice that the link is there? Maybe you might like to log on and see if you can send Dr. Denise King, the principal of this particular indoctrination center, a nice, polite email.

Intentionally misspell a word? Yup, that's the word we get from our Washington correspondent Jamie Dupree. Jamie was talking with a fellow reporter on his way into the Capitol today when an employee of the congress joined in. Can't remember just what office Jamie said this person works in, but it deals with drafting legislation. Anyway ... she revealed to Jamie that sometimes when she's preparing the legislation to be printed and uploaded to the Internet she is asked to intentionally misspell words. Why? So that those words - key words - won't be found when someone uses a search engine to figure out what this legislation is and is not doing. Wunnerful; just wunnerful. Anyone surprised?

I I I me me me. Brent Bozell of the Media Research Center reports on some extraordinary research done by a colleague. Bozell points out that when Reagan was president he would almost always speak in the 3rd person. He would use words like "we" and "our." Obama is a horse of a different color. In 41 major speeches PrezBO has delivered since he was inaugurated he has used the word "I" or "me" 1,198 times. Our Dear Leader is quite impressed with himself. Here's a link to a fun story on this.

Question I asked on the air: Would it be over-stating the case to say that next year's mid-term election might well be our last chance to save the Republic?

CENSUS WORKER FOUND HANGED

The body of a 51-year-old man was found hanged in rural Kentucky earlier this month. Bill Sparkman was a part-time census field worker. He reportedly also worked as what the AP describes as an "occasional teacher." There's an unconfirmed report that the man had the word "fed" written on his chest. As of now officials aren't saying much, including whether this is a murder or a suicide.

One thing for certain ... suicide or murder, this is going to be seized on by the left to paint all Americans concerned with government growth, and especially all Americans who are opposed to our intrusive census, as homicidal maniacs. This is the way the left works. They'll find some bizarre and isolated incident - like the possible lynching of a census worker - and from that point on every person who isn't willing or, in fact, eager to answer in excruciating detail every question on the long census form is a threat to all mankind.

If this Kentucky incident is, in fact, a homicide ... then let's hope the murder is caught and eventually executed ... by hanging. Remember, I'm so warped that I believe murderers ought to die the way they killed their victims.

Barack Obama did a fine job of appeasing and apologizing at the United Nations. While his speech was filled with empty phrases like, "the people of the world want change," the part that got him the most applause was when he mentioned Israel. Need I remind you that applause from a group of dictators and despots is not exactly a good thing. Also .. do I need to remind you that the UN is and has been very much anti-Israel. The applause was no surprise.

As former UN Ambassador John Bolton said, Obama essentially put Israel on the chopping block. Obama said, "We continue to call on Palestinians to end incitement against Israel, and we continue to emphasize that America does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements ... The United States does Israel no favors when we fail to couple an unwavering commitment to its security with an insistence that Israel respect the legitimate claims and rights of the Palestinians. And nations within this body do the Palestinians no favors when they choose vitriolic attacks over a constructive willingness to recognize Israel's legitimacy, and its right to exist in peace and security."

One of Obama's audience members was none other than Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. This is a man who denies the existence of the Holocaust and says that he wants to "wipe Israel off the map." I wonder if this statement by Barack Obama sent tingles up his leg? Can't you just see him sitting there grinning ear-to-ear as Obama carries his water to the UN delegates?

Now ... having brought up Obama's decidedly unfriendly stance toward Israel, there were some good parts of the speech. I particularly liked this:

"Those who used to chastise America for acting alone in the world cannot now stand by and wait for America to solve the world's problems alone. Now is the time for all of us to take our share of responsibility for a global response to global challenges. Nothing is easier than blaming others for our troubles and absolving ourselves of responsibility for our choices and our actions,"

Well .. good for him on this one.

Still ... the three marquis speeches at the UN yesterday were Ahmadinejad, Qaddafi, and our president. Nice imaging.

AMMO FOR YOUR LIBERAL FRIENDS

Just wanted to start your day off with a little tidbit that you can be sure to pass along to your liberal friends who are oh-so-convinced that George Bush is still the reason for this country's problems. We've heard Barack Obama touting this line for months ... the war in Iraq is taking a serious toll on the economy. Well as it turns out, Barack Obama should look himself in the mirror. Here are the details.

The Congressional Research Service tells us that the total cost of the Iraq war under President Bush was $622 billion. Do you have any clue how much Obama is going to spend on welfare, treating America's parasite infestation, in just 2010 alone? Care to guess? Well ... let's try $888 billion. Yup, you got it. That's about $260 billion more than the cost of the Iraq war under Bush. And what will we get for that money? An entrenched welfare class, that's what. Our parasite problem will become even worse. Frankly, we got a lot more bang for the buck out of the war in Iraq.

Just trying to keep the truth. I mean, where else do you think you will find these facts ... the mainstream media??

THE TANGIBLE COSTS OF HEALTHCARE REFORM

Here are some more facts that you won't find in the mainstream media. About what? The Democrat's nationalization of health care, that's what. Need I remind you that that is 18% of our economy? The Heritage Foundation has conducted an analysis to figure out the economic opportunities that would be lost if the Democrats get their way with our healthcare system. This study was done so that we can understand, in real terms, how this is going to affect our economy. Take a look at just a few of their findings:

  • Job losses would mount over time as potential high-income earners forgo job-creating endeavors. By 2019, the economy would offer 452,000 fewer jobs than it would have without the reforms.
  • Self-employed individuals as a group would have $16 billion less income in 2019 (nominal dollars).
  • The surtax would impose a deadweight cost of $12.8 billion in lost gross domestic product (GDP) in 2011, rising to $68.2 billion by 2019 and costing taxpayers an average of $46.7 billion per year.
  • A typical family of four would have $995 less in disposable income in 2019 -- enough to pay for routine annual checkups for the four individuals.

You shouldn't be surprised by these figures. This is an economic price that Democrats are more than willing to pay in order to get complete control over your healthcare.

Let me see if I can make an important point in another way. You're a Democrat. You haven't had complete power in Washington for almost 20 years. You believe that complete control of this country is your birthright. You vow that if you ever control the House, the Senate and the White House again you will act immediately to make sure that you never lose that power and control again.

Along comes Obama. The media loves him and portrays him as a virtual God. He's elected president. What's more, the Republicans have so fouled up their stewardship of the government that you now have control of the legislative branch as well. So ... what do you do?

The goal is easy: You want to control an important aspect of the voter's lives. The "how to" is a bit problematic. Not only to you have to seize this control, but the people whom you want to control have to welcome your initiative with open arms! Thankfully, for Democrats, this isn't all that hard. You're going to take away some of their independence and some of their freedom - but you have to offer something in return. Over the past 60 years the Democrats have learned this tactic well. If you just offer Americans some security in return for their liberty, all-too many of them will step up, eager to make the trade. Now ... where do Americans want security? Well, you can't really guarantee them job security, and offering every one of them a roof over their head is probably a little difficult. But how about health care? Other nations do it, so it ought to be a slam dunk here! Just absolve these Americans of their responsibility for their own health care, and they'll welcome you with open arms. Then ... when election time comes around, you have them by the short hairs.

Come on now, just how hard was this to figure out.

The state of Michigan is well on its way to taxing the tar out of the job makers and the achievers, in order to spread the wealth. Lawmakers in Michigan are currently considering a plan to help sure up the community health department's budget. What they want to do is tax healthcare providers in order to pay for Medicaid coverage for the poor. The taxes would range anywhere from 1.7% to 4% and would be paid by doctors and healthcare providers. The lawmakers believe that this tax will generate six months worth of revenue.

So let's get this straight .... The state of Michigan wants to tax all healthcare providers in the state in order to raise reimbursement rates for healthcare providers to provide services for poor people. Some lawmakers aren't worried because the people opposing the plan would be those without Medicaid patients, which tend to be "high-end doctors." (Read: doctors for evil, rich people) In other words ... these "high-end doctors" will be paying a tax that will then be redistributed to other doctors who treat poor patients.

Now you have a clearer understanding of why Michigan's economy led the rest of this country into a recession. These folks were way ahead of us. As soon as they get this cranked up it will surely catch the eye of the DC looters.

What fun.

PRAISE OBAMA!

Have you ever heard me refer to our government schools as indoctrination
centers? If' you've listened for more than a day you have. Check out this video from a government school:

On the one had we have Barack Obama promising seniors that nothing about their current coverage is going to change. Then we have a Democrat Senate committee propose $500 billion in cuts to Medicare providers. Then we have Barack Obama reassure seniors that this is not going to reduce patients' benefits.

Then we have the head of the Congressional Budget Office, Douglas Elmendorf say that seniors WOULD see reduced benefits if the Democrats in the Senate Finance Committee get their way. In fact, the bill would cut payments to Medicare Advantage plans by more than $100 billion over the next ten years, according to Elmendorf, which would reduced the extra benefits that would be made available to seniors.

So which is it? Will the government educated dumb masses believe Barack Obama and the Democrats when they say they will not cut benefits ... or will people use half their brain to figure out that cutting costs means cutting benefits (when you are dealing with an inefficient government).

Check out this mother of the year. Are you still a smoker?

Is it possible that Nancy Pelosi could be trying to make the House healthcare bill even more liberal??

Barack Obama's amazing American Apology Tour

Here is the 5th report in Ann Coulter's series on liberal lies about healthcare.

The IRS says it will no longer include ACORN in its volunteer tax assistance program.

The Imperial Federal Government is issuing gag orders against private companies that dare to speak against nationalized health care.

As for ACORN? They're filing suit against the filmmakers who uncovered their slimy underbelly. Once again ... shows we need a "loser pays" legal system.

House Republicans have issued a report providing evidence that AARP will receive tens of millions of dollars in "kickbacks" if Democrat healthcare legislation becomes law.

Well Barack Obama managed to impress one world leader with his speech about climate change: Fidel Castro.

House Minority Leader John Boehner does a bit of fact-checking on Obama's health care talking points.

Someone needs to send Jim Traficant a copy of The FairTax book.

According to this columnist in London, Obama's speech to the United Nations was his most naïve speech to date. Please note that it is never good to received thunderous applause from the UN.

The fact that Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi was able to get up to the UN pulpit and rant and rave should be reason enough to disband the United Nations.

The Democrats rejected an amendment to the healthcare bill that would have required the House to post the final text of major bills online at least 72 hours before voting on them.

The Obama administration is feeling the heat for its proposed Consumer Financial Protection Agency. It's already willing to exempt many businesses including retailers, real estate brokers, lawyers, auto dealers, cable companies and accountants.

Today a congressional committee in the House will be focused on the future of the newspaper industry.

According to Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and Paul Simon, 21 million American children lack health insurance. Clearly, they are pandering to the government educated.

Stimulus money that is going towards programs it was not meant to fund? Ya don't say!

The founder of ACORN says that the recent conservative attacks are "complete fabrication" and are meant to undermine President Obama.

The Democrats argue that if we have government-run healthcare, less people will rely on the emergency room for primary care. Too bad that's not the case.

So where are all the young adults who were entrenched in Obamamania back in November? Wonder what they think of their man now. Elections have consequences.

If one thing can be said for Barack Obama as president, it is that he loves to talk about himself.

Did you know that Barack Obama has a safe schools czar? Looks like he's taking the heat from Conservatives.

Would you care to take a pop quiz from a government school teacher on Barack Obama's healthcare speech to a joint session of Congress?

Rasmussen polls show that 59% of Americans believe that the current level of political anger in the country is higher than it was when George W. Bush was president.

How would you like to work for a company that fines its employees based on the amount of emissions they produce? Coming to a government near you!

Celebrations and protests gear up as Darwin's On the Origin of Species turns 150.
