Iran isn't a threat to the U.S.???
If a nuke or two go off in the Middle East, you'll see sky-high prices on gasoline, heating oil, etc. Few things would kill our economy faster. Iran knows this. So just the threat of launching a nuke will give them tremendous bargaining power over us.
Whatever are those vegetables doing in Washington
Millions of illegal immigrants broke the laws of a sovereign nation! We must go after the purveyors who attract these, poor uneducated people! To be honest I'm fed up with supporting any person, who crosses the border, stays on an expired tourist visa. The corporate world have for decades, dumped these people on the doorstep of Taxpayers. We, as Americans cannot even access, half the benefits that are handed to illegals on a free platter. Don't let the fumblers in Washington weaken E-Verify--part of the SAVE ACT. Politicians must not dissolve such local police laws as 287(g) or severely cut back on lightening raids by ICE. As you read this commentary we have the US chamber of Commerce, ACLU, The Council of Foreign Relations and a whole retinue of business concerns, who don't believe they should be dictated to--BY A LARGE SLICE OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.
Our laws have been manipulated for the benefit of ruthless organizations, who runs on profiteering and corruption, with the big fat dollar bill. Alas, it has become--THEM--against us. YES! To a orderly points system for the ultra skilled immigrant, who does not feed at the public welfare trough? But--NO--to the poor, uneducated--who cannot support themselves or their larger families. We must build on the technological illegal worker extraction process called E-Verify. We must rigidly penalize all employers who refuse to follow immigration enforcement. There must be adequate funding to construct more deterrents in the SAVE ACT, to make it impossible for illegal labor to fraudulently bypass E-Verify. We can no longer afford to be a welfare country, for anybody who enters the United States.
The usual imbeciles in the Democratic leadership, Reid, Pelosi, Feinstein and most you can guess for yourself. Now if the Democratic health care package goes through--TAXPAYERS WE WILL STILL BE UNDERWRITING all the foreigners that businesses can use. There is a sordid conspiracy going on with a group called "IMMIGRATIONWORKSUSA" brought and paid for by corporate--CHEAP LABOR--executives.DON'T LISTEN TO WHAT THEY SUPPOSEDLY INSPIRE. This group wants the Free movement of foreign labor, across our border without any restrictions All the truth, without the lies at NUMBERSUSA. Weird Region
Nations in that area have "gone Western" before, then had a religious uprising, resorting back to the mad mullah stage. Ask the Shah! And we put him there. This area will never be Western the way some here would like. And they will never get over their hatred of infidels.

Why not begin by securing the border? Politicians, (Bush for instance) say there is a threat but absolutely REFUSE to take the simple actions of securing the border and taking away entitlements to help the illegals head home. Something doesn't add up. They are lying somewhere along the line. Until the border is secure and the illegal aliens heading home there is no reason to believe there is a threat of terrorists coming in to this country. The war on terror is nonsense. There is something HORRIBLY wrong with the fact that the Korean border was better protected with American tax dollars on 9/11 than the Mexico/America border. A red flag has to start going up for people at some point. Sorry. Just cold straight forward unavoidable logic.

...will now claim their nukes are no threat to us and we can't do anything about it anyway. We supposedly have no right to take any action against a country that invaded sovereign US soil, has been killing (often by real torture) Americans, waging war against us and our allies for over 30 years, and has been kidnapping, torturing, and killing Americans, with and without their proxies, in Iraq and Afghanistan for the last four years. Yet somehow, we have no right to hit them back or stop them from going nuclear?
They have been wrong all along, and like they are doing with the economy, they will prove it beyond any doubt. It won't be a cheap lesson, even if we manage to keep them from smuggling any nukes across our wide open borders. It's not just the mad mullahs and norks going nuclear if we don't stop it now, it's their friends and enemies. Their enemies must go nuclear now as well to ensure their own security. Nuclear nonproliferation is a massive failure.
If we won't even stop the mad mullahs from going nuclear, what's the point of nonproliferation? Why did we, and why do we waste any time or money on it, or was and is that the point? Was it all just to tie us up while providing another jobs program with travel for inept bureaucrats and academics? If we were bluffing on nonproliferation, what else are we now bluffing on, and how long before another is called? Not long is my bet.

i for one think that we should nuke all of them. all the countries who now have nukes, will have nukes, or thinking about having nukes. that way we will be the only country who will have nukes. then we can have a nice sandwich all to ourselves.

Its hard to see what our policy should be when comments like red leader's and coolidge on the "fake" war on terror to get you thinking. But I kinda agree,I mean really,how can we believe that our gov. takes it serious if they refuse to even tighten up our border security. It seems we got leftest extremest wanting to open borders even wider and right wing extremest wanting to put up barbed wire, fences and a free fire zone,while our polictians debate crucial matters like changing the "terror alert" color code.I agree that "coolidge" may have something with N. korea being china,s.korea and japans problem. Release japan from the arms agreement and let them arm themselves,I mean why not? the threat is a myth...
N.Korea and Iran are not a threat to the U.S. They are both just overblown crises, that the government uses to justify enlarging itself(see Komrade Rahm Emmanuel's quote on not wasting a good crisis)....there is no war on terror either, just like there's no real war on drugs, just as the economy is not as bad as they want you to believe(by the way the govt is worsening the economy on purpose, then telling peeople govt must be enlarged to fix it). If Iran or N. Korea were a threat, the border would actually be secured and illegal aliens would be on their way home. There just no 2 ways about it. Appeasement is simply not in question here, as America is not the world's policeman. N.Korea is China and Japan's problem, let them deal with it. Dwight Eisenhower warned of us the military industrial complex.
Important unavoidable questions on Iranian nukes....
Where does Obama get the authority to tell Iran if they can or cannot have nukes? Where will we find world policing in the constitution?
Does Iran get to tell America if it can have nukes?
With 10 trillion dollar debt and counting, can America afford the trillions it is costing to be the world's police?
If you were president of a country and the only country that has ever used nukes to actually destroy people were asking you to stop making nukes, would you trust them? Particularly if that country was involved in the past with overthrowing the government? Yes or No?
If everyone in the room were carrying a loaded firearm wouldn't you want to be armed also?
Iran is surrounded by nuclear countries, if you were in charge of Iran and surrounded by nuclear countries would you want nukes? Yes or No?
Why does America reward dictatorships like Pakistan's and China's (both nuclear countries) with cash, but show inconsistancy with Iran who is has so much similarity to Pakistan?

Appeasement
The current Administration appeased the N. Koreans when they tested their delivery system for nukes, why would the Iranians be any different?!?!?! If anything they are emboldened by the success of N. Korea. We've distance ourselves from our allies, Israel, Japan, .... We are the weakest we have ever been, even weaker than the Carter Administration, and begging our enemies to act decisively to increase our weakness. The crazy insanity of it all is the fact that our greatest enemy right now is our own Government.
Not a problem to us directly...
but Israel is not going to stand for this. They will attack Iran if they have the bomb. I think we are about to see some crazy fire works start flying over in the Middle East.
