i've been saying that for at least 20+ years.

For the most part I am energy efficient, unlike someone named Mr. Al Gore whose mega mansions is a total energy hog.

I set my A/C at 78, which is recommended by the power company. In the winter, my heat is set at 65, and if I'm cold I just add a layer. I keep the blinds drawn to keep the house cooler in the summer. I do one load of laundry every 10 days, and though I've lived in my house for 6+ years have run my dishwasher maybe 5 times. I prefer to fill the sick with water, and wash em by hand. My power bill (and I'm total electric) averages between 75-85 a month, sorry if I can't afford to pay over 200 a month just because the libtards and dumbocrats want to create revenue.

Maybe I could be doing more, but I am trying which is more than I can say for the fat cats up in Washington who just love to impose their WILL on the people, while they themselves don't do anything but contribute to the problem. Why? Because they don't have to pay for it, the taxpayers do! Is it going to keep Princess Pelosi from flying around the country in her private jet? No they will continue on, and force the taxpayers to pay ungodly amounts so they can create "more" revenue.

And Joyce, yeah I'm sure there will be "incentives" and kick backs for the welfare gang, but of course its not going to help the majority, only the chosen few.

This is a bad bill, & hopefully someone will make a stand & get it veto'd.

This is a BAD bill, do you honestly expect the power companies et al to just merrily accept the new restrictions and make changes out of their profits?

The power co. will make changes or they will pay fines. If they pass these fines onto you, your options are to become more energy efficient in your own life or pay the higher costs. You obviously would just prefer to pollute as you have been your whole life because it is easy and cheap. Well it will still be easy, but thankfully it won't be cheap.

The environment is the legacy that we leave for future generations.

Can't take a break for one minute with these morons. Before we can even wrap up health care reform and put it in the trash heap now we have to ramp up to fight yet another boondoggle. Revenue generating for Washington to spend spend spend.

So once the democrats seize control of healthcare, am I assuming correctly that republicans will relinquish control once they take over? OR will it be one of those instances like always where they will make it benefit their issues more and then republican voters will cry that they accidently elected RINOs and not true Reagan Republicans?
