"Every government interference in the economy consists of giving an unearned benefit, extorted by force, to some men at the expense of others."

Ayn Rand

Belinda and Kenny

This morning many of you delivered a perfectly health young child to a school somewhere. Today you will pick that child up with only some additional damage to his or her psyche caused by government "educators."

This morning some parents will take their child to the Aflac Cancer Center at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. While your child is (hopefully) learning, their child will be fighting for his life battling cancer.

The Boortz show will be there - at the Aflac Cancer Center - broadcasting today, as we were yesterday. Can you listen and click on this link to donate a few bucks for childhood cancer research and treatment? How about $25 for each health child you took to her school today?

Thanks.

MORE NAME-CALLING FROM THE DEMOCRATS

It's been a while since we have had a Democrat do some name-calling. Yeah .. every bit of a day or two. How long ago was it that these kind, gentle, peace-loving lefties were calling ObamaCare protestors Nazis, brownshirts, mobsters, terrorists .. you name it. Those were all directed at protestors who dared to show up and show their dissatisfaction for the massive growth of government the Democrats are proposing. Maybe the looters are getting upset that their name-calling isn't having the desired effect on the target of their venom. So .. why not start slamming members of their own team? Let's turn the stage over to California Democrat Congressman Fortney "Pete" Stark. Pete is upset with so-called "moderate" Democrats who aren't going along with ObamaCare. He says they are "brain dead." He also accused them of following the money; they are just doing it so they can get campaign donations from insurance companies.

Here's the quote. He says, "They're for the most part, I hate to say brain dead, but they're just looking to raise money from insurance companies and promote a right-wing agenda that is not really very useful in this whole process."

So now the liberal Democrats are getting so desperate that they are shaming members of their own party for promoting a "right-wing agenda."

Yeah .. I know, it's the evil right-wingers who are supposed to always be stooping to the nasty name-calling and ugly rhetoric. That's the conventional wisdom. But just check into websites like Democraticunderground.com, Media Matters and ThinkProgress to see what gems come from Democrat keyboard whey they're talking about Americans who don't see eye-to-eye with them on the size and intrusiveness of government.

WATCHING MY BACK

You'll see an article in the reading assignments where Charles Krauthammer says that ObamaCare 1.0 is dead. Perhaps so, and if that's the case those evil, hate-spewing, conservative, Nazi right-wing talk show hosts had better watch their backs.

I'm guessing the looters will retaliate ... big time. They've enacted a little boycott of Glenn Beck that has sent his Fox TV ratings through the roof. They must hate that, but you know they won't learn from it. My guess is that you're going to see a widely-organized leftist attack on all companies, big and small, that dare to advertise on conservative talk radio shows. Some companies (Bose comes to mind) will cave. But other advertisers will rush in to fill in the gaps as the ratings for these shows go up.

The death of ObamaCare must be avenged. I'm watching my back.

"BECAUSE WE ARE AMERICANS"

Medicare is one of these brilliant government programs that have grown so hugely out of proportion that we cannot continue to fund it at its current level. This is the way it seems to have worked with every single government spending program ever instituted by the federal government. This is most certainly the way it will turn out with ObamaCare. This is why reports like this should scare you. Rep. Betsy Markey of Fort Collins, Colorado says that come Medicare recipients will have to give up some of their current benefits in order to reform the healthcare system.

Here's Betsy's actual quote: "There's going to be some people who are going to have to give up some things, honestly, for all of this to work ... But we have to do this because we're Americans."

There you go, folks. We have to give up things that we've worked for; things that we've paid for ... because that's what Americans do.

Moving the clock forward now ... say for about 14 years. Let's make that 14 years after the Democrats get their nationalized healthcare. This healthcare program will have grown to a size of epic proportions and Americans will be completely and totally reliant on the government for their healthcare ... just the way the looters want it. But there's one problem: it has become grossly expensive. Taxes have been raised to the point where the achievers, the evil rich, are bailing out. They can't bear the weight, the burden, of this redistributive society any longer. So Congress decides that it needs to cut back on healthcare spending. You are being told that your need for health services will have to be weighed against the needs of the rest of your fellow Americans .. and that you just might have to give up some medical care that someone else needs more. You'll be expected to go along, though, because that's just what we do. Why? Because "we're Americans."

THAT is the healthcare future for your grandkids if you don't keep the pressure on your representatives. Look .. sure, there are problems with the delivery of healthcare. Those problems, however, were CAUSED by government .. and more government isn't the solution. The private sector can deliver these services in the most efficient manner possible - but only if government backs off. That solution doesn't work, though, for Democrats. Why? Because this isn't about improving the delivery of healthcare services to the American people. This is about CONTROL. Governments don't exercise more control by backing off.

Something is starting to stink in the Obama Justice Department. Just the other day I told you about the CIA investigations that have been ordered by Attorney General Eric Holder. Earlier in the year we had the same Attorney General dismiss a case involving the Black Panthers intimidating voters during the 2008 election.

Now we get this. The Obama Justice Department has killed the investigation into New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson on pay-to-play allegations. For a year, federal investigators have been looking into the details of Bill Richardson doling out state bond deals to campaign donors. This investigation is the reason why he pulled himself out of the running to be Obama's commerce secretary.

All of the sudden, top Justice Department officials decide that they are not going to purse the indictments. To quote a Justice Department official, "It was killed in Washington."

This, my friends, is change you can believe in.

GITMO DETAINEES GO TO THE COURTS

The Obama administration recently decided to release Mohammed Jawad from Guantanamo Bay. The Afghani man was 12 at the time he was detained back in 2002 hurling a grenade at a US vehicle in Kabul, injuring two American soldiers and their interpreter.

So now that Mohammed is a free man, he wants to sue Washington over his "illegal detention" ... holding him for seven years "without charges." Where's Ramsey Clark when you really need him?

Usually .. .you throw a grenade at U.S. troops, you're DRT. For those of you unfamiliar with the show, that means Dead Right There. So our troop recognize this Muslim thug is young and they spare his life. They can't leave him around to become an adult bomb-thrower though, so they detain him until they think the danger is passed. Now he wants to sue.

Is it too late to shoot the ungrateful little bastard?

This ethically challenged footstool is the one who is going to spearhead the effort to increase your taxes.

Charles Krauthammer cites a national revulsion at Democrat plans for you. Calling ObamaCare 1.0 dead.

Private pension plans are next. The GAO is looking into it. BOHICA!

There are calls for the Senate to change the way that Senate vacancies are filled.

John Stossel explains how limiting patient out-of-pocket expenses is going to raise the price of healthcare. Somebody please explain this to President Obama.

A Federal Reserve official says that the real unemployment rate is actually 16%.

How is the home appliance industry adjusting its cash for clunkers expectations after seeing what the auto industry experienced?

Here's something to consider ... the Democrats currently do not have their supermajority in the Senate.

This columnist says that it is Barack Obama's arrogance that is killing the healthcare bill.

We talked about this yesterday on the program. Democrat Rep. Moran demanding to see the ID of one of his constituents at a townhall meeting.

Ever heard of the "Tobin tax"? It is being considered as a way to "reshape the financial sector."

Speaking of the Tobin tax ... here's an example of how officials in Great Britain want to use the Tobin tax to stifle that which they have deemed "too big and socially useless."

You'll love this ... how healthcare for all would make a more "just" society.

I think we all know who is really running this whole healthcare debate for the Democrats ... and you thought this was about your health.

Now here's a question for you: Can a Mother Lose Her Child Because She Doesn't Speak English?

Here's who made the list of the 100 Most Powerful People in Health Care.
