  • Lol, like my parents FoxyRob.
Parents didn't waste much time arguing with kids back then.
Dad always had a belt handy, and we were especially good when he was wearin' his thin dress belt. Mom was usually wearing a dress, so she would take me and my sis to the belt department, borrow one of their belts, tan our hide in front of God and everybody 'til her arm got tired, hang the belt back up and go on with her shopping, nonplussed. The thin dress belts were the worst, and they whistle on the waaayyyy!
  • I'm stocked on beer BN, I'll come over for some whittlin' though.
I've got some blocks of teak and rosewood. I'll bring ice, ya never can have too much of that this time of year.

As for Neal, I know Mt. Lemmon well. I lived about 10 minutes from there when I lived in Tucson. Made summers interesting because while it was 110 in Tucson, you could always drive up to Mt. Lemmon where it was in the 70's. Winters were even better. There aren't many places where you can go skiing then drive down the mountain to go swimming and lounge by the pool...outside.

    cowboy.....wanna a beer????

we's jist sittin' on the porch watchin' the dogs mate and wittlin'....com'on over......bring ice!!!!!!
  • They are already blaming "tax cuts," lol.
It's in today's reading assignments. More taxes, more socialism is always their answer.

I can see the dp surrounding a prostrate economy, beating it with baseball bats while verbally encouraging it to, “Get up, you’re fine,” while others suggest, “Hit him some more, he’ll get up!”

When can I be right about something good again?
  • twitter
Honk! Twitter IS lame. Just recently got onto facebook and am sometimes addicted to it now.

Bumper stickers can be removed before resale, and are a way for people to express themselves to the world, to let people know how we feel on various topics.
  • sex ed?
The real story is the Brits learned that girls who are given condoms and "educated" about sex are twice as likely to become pregnant.

I thought education and condoms helped?
  • Speaking of Haliburton...
The newest version has been spending millions to get up and running a factory to make parts for the wind turbines, pushing the Obama agenda on it's broadcasting network and it's head is now on Obama's financial advisory board.

    GE/NBC/Jeffrey Immelt

It's not any better now than before.
  • i have two bumper stickers
    1. "here come the democrats hide your wallet and your guns"
    2. "here come the republicans hide your wallet and your civil rights"

and i hate a tiny sticker that says "defend youself -- learn about islam"
  • 3mbw couldn't find a fact with both hands and a flashlight
3m states with much certainty: "Yesterday the Dow closed up 185 to 8331. What would the Dow have closed yesterday if Cheney/Bush had been given another 4 years? 3500? 3000? 2500? The prospect is scary and yet all these neo-cons still won't put the blame where it belongs: Cheney/Bush."

Well 3m... Let's take a look at the FACTS shall we. Let me get into my Mr. Rogers thinking sweater...

    First, I'll source my info - finance.yahoo.com...

    1/20/2007 - Bush/Cheney/Haliburton take office. Dow - 10,659

    Week of 9/11/2001 - I know, I know, Bush/Cheney/Haliburton did it - spare me... Dow - 9,605

2001 AND 2003 - In response to a weak economy and 9/11 Bush/Cheney/Haliburton pass two sets of tax cuts.

1/1/2007 - Demotwits take control of congress. Harry "I don't have any legal troubles with land deals" Reid and Nancy "I don't use Botox" Pelosi take control of the Senate and House Respectively. Dow - 12,398

Week of Nov. 3 2008 - Barry keepthechange gets elected. Dow - 8,943

1/20/2009 - BarryO and his cabinet full of tax cheats takes "oaf of offith" according to Barney Frank. Dow - 8,077

Week of 7/6 (most recent data from finance.yahoo.com) Dow -8,146

So, let's look at the chart - shall we?

Bush takes office and in response to a weakening economy - cuts taxes (for all brackets) and the economy goes on a 4.5 - 5 year tear...

The Dems take control, and things peak a few months later. Then the Presidential race heats up in the summer of '08 - things look shaky - we're either gonna get Mcfool or O'bazm. Both are talking about higher taxes, cap'n crunch trade and spendulous progams that stagger the mind.

Late 2008 - Bush/Cheney/Haliburton pass a $700 odd Billion stimulus package and all hell breaks loose.

    Ok - I feel better.

See 3m. It's not hard - you can easily see that the Guv spending money, higher taxes (or the talk thereof) and big explosion of crappy regulations HURTS the market - not the other way around.

I would hazard a guess that if Bush/Cheney/Haliburton were still in charge - He/They/It would be proposing new tax CUTS to get things going again and we would probably be at about the same place or better with respect to the Dow...

  • twitte
    honk honk
  • 3mbw=Tool
You’re an idiot for having a bumper sticker regardless of what your party affiliation is. Duh. Oh, and please get over you Bush derangement syndrome (yawn) your buddy in the White House is the one screwing things up royally.
  • Bumper Stickers
Never understood why someone would put a sticker on their vehicle, regardless of subject matter.

Just tacky, and it reduces the resale value....
  • A big part of wisdom is knowing what you don't know.
They ridicule and d*mn our consumption, come to power and divert it to their 'higher purposes.' Don't expect them to figure out why 'their' money to buy votes and mold us into what they think we should be is drying up. Their solution will always be more socialism.
  • twitte
Honk if you think twitter is lame.
  • Poor 3mbw
She just won't admit her guy is just a continuation of Bush/Cheney! Except in this case Biden is too stupid to play the Cheney part so we'll have to leave that for Geithner.

Axeman I love your new tagline!!!
  • bumper stickers
I removed my old "Bush Country" sticker and replaced it with:

    "OBAMA NATION"
  • Honk if I look like an idiot
Actually, I prefer the bumper sticker I saw on the net a few weeks ago: "Honk if I'm paying your mortgage."

"...take a flying leap at a rolling donut..." - Chuck
  • Bumper Stickers, yet again
"Still got that Obama bumper sticker on your car"

Yes, and it's staying there, and what is this obsession with Bumper Stickers? As for the "honk if I look like an idiot, I'd save that for the people who have the Bush/Cheney and McCain/Palin stickers.

Yesterday the Dow closed up 185 to 8331. What would the Dow have closed yesterday if Cheney/Bush had been given another 4 years? 3500? 3000? 2500? The prospect is scary and yet all these neo-cons still won't put the blame where it belongs: Cheney/Bush.
