I know, it's hard to admit that you were wrong, isn't it? I mean, after all, how in the world can you admit that voting for someone with absolutely no experience at all - a former ACORN street organizer - someone who gravitated to Marxist professors and communist student groups in college - someone with no record of significant accomplishment at any endeavor - and someone who ran for office on the basis of focus-group slogans - how can you ever admit that such a vote might have been a mistake?

Do you see our economy improving? Have you noticed the improving employment figures?

Are you impressed by the burgeoning national debt that your children are going to have to pay back?

Are you looking forward to seeing your health care rationed?

How about the nationalization of General Motors, Citigroup and others? That's why you put that bumper sticker on your car, isn't it? So Obama could use some of his immense business experience to run some of our major industries. You do know he will nationalize the banks soon, don't you? Is that the change you had in mind?

Don't you see how smart this "sort-of" God really is? He's raising taxes while other nations are lowering business and personal taxes to fight the economic downturn. You knew that he knew something that the other world leaders didn't know ... didn't you?

How about our shows of determination and strength to North Korea and Iran? Obama really has the Gargoyle and Shorty in a tizzy, doesn't he? And I'm sure you're very impressed by Obama's instantaneous backing of that wannabe dictator and Chavez acolyte from Honduras.

So ... still got that Obama bumper sticker on your car? It's one thing to have been so profoundly ignorant in the last election. It's quite another to advertise it.

    Let's see. He's won the Peace Prize, he closed down Guantanamo, he declared his stance against torture, he is repealling don't ask, don't tell, he has jump-started an economy in a free fall, and he will bring universal healthcare - oh, yeah, in 9 months. He's the man. stop whining and get with it.

    Those who think Obama won by a landslide should do a fact check. mcCain got 59 million votes, Obama 69 million. That means he won by 10 million votes...hardly a landslide! Lets not forget there are over 300 million people in this country. Many of his votes where against bush/mccain and not so much for Obama. people hoped for a newer direction. Many of those people now have buyers remorse. If the election were held today, Obama would lose. No disputing that fact. independent voters, who lean more conservative than liberal, voted to give him a chance and he has stabbed them in the back and revealed his true colors. Add to that the liberal derangment going around that somehow winning by 10 million votes 9out of 300 plus million people, somehow gives you mandate...and you are going to see a major backlash in 2010 and 2012. see, only die hard liberals and republicans actually carea bout what 'party" runs the show. The other 90% of voters just want to be left alone and really don't care what party runs the show, as long as they have a job, inflation is low, they have their freedom and the coutry is safe. Carter thought the same as Obama and in 1980, voters came out in droves and elected reagan. Indpendents, not die hard liberals, gave congress on the oval office to democrats. To see what they would do, and so far, they have done NOTHING but blame bush.Although they have the majority and can pass whatever they want, they still can't get their act together and then have the gall to blame bush, republicans and the vast right wing conspiracy, LOL. Well, next year, many of them are going to say bye bye to their seats and in 2012, so will Obama. so, you keep your stickers. After the election, every other car had an obama sticker. Now, I can drive all day and not see one. Why is that?

    I'm purchasing a new bumper sticker today that is .... pro-Obama. I'm proud we elected him and we did by a Landslide folks. We (the majority) were sick of the ignorance and greed that have run our country. I voted especially for health care as my 25 year old full time working son has no health insurance. Government run health insurance, hmmm medicaid, medicare, seems like those systems work and they're (gasp) government run.

    I am tired of the Republican B.S. machine. Like things were better under Bush? Remember under bush we wasted billions on the war in iraq.. every week.,..which could have gone to other things like health care. Instead bush sat there for 8 years while the economy went down the tubes mishandling problem after problem like the gas crisis, the Hurricane Katrina etc. Obama has done more reform in this country in 6 months than Bush did in 8 years. and even Both bushes' did in 12 years. Give Obama a break he's doing the best he can to fix the huge leak bush and his cronies created. I wonder if McCAIN would have made things better, we would have been at war with IRAN and NORTH Korea by now, drilling for oil which we're already at peak maximum btw...- while gas prices skyrocket, and we would have seen the deficit skyrocket out of control while the rich keep getting tax breaks and getting richer, and the poor/middle class keep getting screwed. Oh yeah McCAIN would have been so much better. - I think Clinton would have been better than Obama but hey..- Give Obama a break he's doing the best he can to fix the problems Bush and the republican party created.

    Being so proud of Obama can anybody name any specific thing that this man has done to positively impact the people of this country?I for one can specifically name several negative sides of this administration but its so nice to hear all the good things.I dont smoke but im sure all smokers out there appreciate the extra 10.00-15.00 tax break in their take home pay now they can afford to pay those taxes on their tobbacco purchases.I look foreward to paying extra money to the government so that we can insure everybody not just the illegals.hey that sounds like a new slogan for this guy..Healthcare ..its not just for illegals anymore..cap and trade..psss hey buddy wanna buy some carbon credits..the guy should be anointed a saint by the catholic church immediately..

    Yes, I have an obama sticker on my car, and am very proud of it! before anyone starts to gloat in happiness, or puke in fear, It was placed there two months ago and reads "save america,impeach obama" I have got a lot of looks and gestures,most however are positive. What the hey, bush haters have had them or similar stickers on their cars for eight years :)

    I thought Bush did a crappy job with the economy. I thougth he did a great job in dealing with Iraq. I was there, I saw the weapons conveys, I helped launch the planes that blew them out of this world.

    Second, name one thing that Obama has sone that has done the following:

    1.) Decrease unemployment. It has gone up since he took office not down. In fact his whole administration gave a nice graph and said that the CBO was lying about what would happen if the stimulus was passed. Ironcially, what the CBO said would happen has and what Obama said would happen hasn't.

    2.) What do you thing will happen once the Cap and Drain (er, I mean Cap and Trade) Bill is passed? Obama said it himself and this is a direct quote "Under my plan of a cap and trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket". Wake the F up and stop looking throught the kaleidescope.

    3.) How is nationalizing health care going to benefit those of us who already take care of our business? It's not. It's going to force us into paying for everyon else, not being able to afford our own health care anymore, and then we too will have to be on the gubment plan. Do you like going to the DMV? I know what it will be like I was in the military for 12 years. There is nothing wrong with our health care system. There is only something wrong with insurance and the gubment mingling in how and what needs to be in policies.

    I have served my country. I am now on the "great ones" terrorist watch list. Yet illegals coninue to come across the border and take my hard earned cash.

    I love my country. I swore an oath to defend the Constitution when I joined and re-enlisted numerous times. I didn't swear to protect the President you know why? Because the President doesn't make this country great. The Constitution and the people who live and die for it are what make it great. Our founding fathers knew that and unfortunately 200 and some years later we have dolts like you who would rather have free stuff rather than freedom. Sad.

Admittedly the country is going through a dry spell now but so is Europe. It has been only six months since Obama was elected, give him time to turn things around. People that hate him will never find any good in his efforts even if he walked on water!     I still have my NOBAMA sticker on my car, and it has doubled its value over time....the sad OBAMA supporters see it and the CONSRVTV plates and for some reason have nothing to say. That QUIET speaks volumes to me. In GA some people think I'm crazy for expressing free speech, but I do love my country and its freedoms; even if the POTUS is taking them away daily. I put my life on the line daily for those freedoms. I can't wait until 2012 until we can get an American into office.

Well 9.5% and rising unemployment record job loss's not seen in four decades and you can bet it will go into the 13's or 14's before this is over, the DOW barely hitting 8K and sinking, the deficit is at 4 trillion dollars and in ten years will be in the double digit trillions and revenues are falling so what is a socialist to do why print more money! Want to see the future when this happens? Take a look at Zimbabwe it is called hyperinflation and we are well on our way there all thanks to as Neal calls them the Dumb masses.

    He inherited a big mess, and I haven't completely agreed with all his policy decisions - but considering that the only alternative we had back in November was McCain, I'm elated that Obama won. McCain and Palin would've only dug the hole we are in MUCH DEEPER.

    Personally, I did not and would not vote for Barack Obama. He is a Chicago machine politician who has never met a payroll in his life. Other than successfully running for public office, his greatest pre-presidential accomplishment appears to have been spending countless millions of dollars that he did not have to generate. As President, that now changes to trillions of dollars.

    Mr. Obama is eminently unqualified for the presidency. He is in about 100 miles over his head.....and, sad to say, it shows. Vividly.

    The next election cannot come soon enough.

    You know.. it is really unfair that I am driving around my 9 yo handmedown car with 200,000 miles on it.. I think it would be neighborly if the guys with the BMer or Merc would give their cars to me.. we could trade.. or maybe arrange a swap every other day.. That way I won't have to suffer the poor self esteem of driving my older vehicle.

    BTW.. I could have a newer car if I wanted one, but as a CPA don't see a lot of value in putting a lot of money into a depreciating asset and contrary to some people's way of thinking, image isn't everything.

    In a post where I said a number of indisputed things about Bush, Club-@$$hole, you decided to dispute just one tiny little part of it: the part where I said it's debatable whether or not Bush inherited a recession.

    We had a little confusion in there -- partly my bad -- I admit I didn't realize you were saying it is indisputable because Bush was not the President in March 2001. I guess I assumed at first that you were saying it's indisputable that the recession began before Bush was sworn in. But your position is there isn't a debate about Bush inheriting the March 2001 recession because "Goren was still counting chads."

    I know this is a summmary but this does raise some questions: Who was President from January 20, 2001 until whatever day Bush became President? What day did Bush become President? Why wasn't he sworn in again? Does that mean the "43" panties you bought your wife don't refer to Bush but to this other President? Who is this mystery man? Tell us, o wise one.     Obama got elected because we had two choices in the election. 1) four more years of the Cheney/Bush/Rove disaster (aka John McCain) or 2) an intelligent man with vision to address the problems of the country.

Released today, the transcript indicates that Obama, under the name Barry Soetoro, received financial aid as a foreign student from Indonesia as an undergraduate at the school. The transcript was released by Occidental College in compliance with a court order in a suit brought by the group in the Superior Court of California. The transcript shows that Obama (Soetoro) applied for financial a id and was awarded a fellowship for foreign students from the Fulbright Foundation Scholarship program. To qualify, for the scholarship, a student must claim foreign citizenship. This document would seem to provide the smoking gun that many of Obama’s detractors have been seeking.

    Along with the evidence that he was first born in Kenya and there is no record of him ever applying for US citizenship, this is looking pretty grim. The news has created a firestorm at the White House as the release casts increasing doubt about Obama’s legitimacy and qualification to serve as president. When reached for comment in London , where he has been in meetings with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Obama smiled but refused comment on the issue.

    In a related matter, under growing pressure from several groups, Justice Antonin Scalia announced that the Supreme Court agreed on Tuesday to hear arguments concerning Obama’s legal eligibility to serve as President in a case brought by Leo Donofrio of New Jersey .. This lawsuit claims Obama's dual citizenship disqualified him from serving as president. Donofrio’s case is just one of 18 suits brought by citizens demanding proof of Obama’s citizenship or qualification to serve as president.

    Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation has released the results of their investigation of Obama’s campaign spending. This study estimates that Obama has spent upwards of $950,000 in campaign funds in the past year with eleven law firms in 12 states for legal resources to block disclosure of any of his personal records. Mr. Kreep indicated that the investigation is still ongoing but that the final report will be provided to the U.S. Attorney General, Eric Holder Mr. Holder has refused to comment on the matter.

    My Sister-In-Law, a public school teacher in central Ohio, says that "Bush screwed up the economy so badly that Obama won't be able to complete it's repair in the 8 years of his presidency". A constitutional amendment will be necessary to give him a third term to finish his "work". Or, if a third term is not possible, Michelle Obama could be the next president.
    This is from a woman with a master's degree. I find it ludicrous to even dream that Obama supporters could conceive of being wrong about their support for him. Obama's doing what they want him to do.

    Hugo: I am implementing my escape plan. I have divested myself of my dollar based investments. I am invested in hard commodities, Brazilian Reals, and Chinese Yuan.

    I already speak Spanish, Portuguese and am learning Mandarin. It seems where those languages are spoken, their economies are growing. I have also instructed my children to be able to communicate their skillsets in at least Spanish and they should add on Portuguese. My children are also eligible for Mercosur passports. (Once again that is where the growth economies are in this hemisphere.)

    Furthermore, I am looking for a transfer to one of these markets via my company who is already asking if people would be willing to go to one of these places... or I will acquire enough resources to make the move on my own and start a business in Latin America.

    You might want to face facts... these "Hope and change" measures that the president is undertaking will harm the economy both short and long term. I have seen the "writing on the wall". I don't see this getting fixed anytime soon due to the government indoctrination center turning out more government subjects.

Contrary to the stereotype you like to advance, yours truly and many of his friends and neighbors are wealthy, successful, well-educated entrepreneurs and senior managers in business and industry, and are simultaneously moderately liberal but do not swear blind allegiance to the democratic party.

    But while I do not put bumper stickers on my car, I was, am, and likely will continue to be a supporter of President Obama. I don't think he's perfect, and he is not a God. He has restored America's reputation in the world; he is inspiring, particularly to minority youth; he can speak in complete sentences; he hasn't gotten us into any new wars; he has overseen a stimulus package that is beginning to show some results (yes I know unemployment ticked up another 0.1% today). I am concerned about the forthcoming deficits, but I am once again happy that when I travel abroad, I can carry my passport with a level of pride I have not felt in a long time.
