STILL GOING STRONG

This email from a listener over the weekend:

"I just read your book (Somebody's Gotta Say It) during a vacation across the upper Midwest of America and I have decided I would make a terrible caller! I would be one to agree on mostly any subject you bring up. It truly stirred me. The last half of the trip became a political discussion because of your book. After the humor died down though, the truth came like a brick to the face. Our love for America must spur us up to save it before this grandest of experiments in human history fails. I have faith in mankind, but it is tested more and more each day. Keep feeding the flame until the horsesqueeze is gone!"

What others are saying

  • Another ?
Another book would be great, Neal. Perhaps with the release date of Summer 2010 before the elections? If Dick Morris can whip out his new book in no time, why not?
  • Bulls eye for Len!
Straight to the heart of the problem and the gist of this so-called racism. It's mislabeled as "racism" when it's actually prejudice. Len.....you are definitely paying attention. I used to be a cop and, believe it or not, I was a "good" cop. I never lost sight of the fact that I was a public servant and the person that I was addressing was a private citizen. Every citizen is, in effect, one of my employers so that make me one of their employees. A view that apparently has gone the way of the dinosaur. Needless to say, I didn't last very long as a cop with that mindset. Thanks again, Len, your post was brief, succinct, and very cerebral. I thank you for your time and indulgence.
  • Truly Amazing
I still can't believe people haven't figured out that Boortz has truly only written 2 books. One is a collection of rants that became The Commencement Speech/The Terrible Truth About Liberals/Somebody's Gotta Say It and the other about a tax plan nobody will ever pass called The FairTax Book/The FairTax: The Truth. I mean, that is one lazy talkmaster. Oh well, I'm sure his myrmidons lap that crap up.
  • Business 101
I would consider it more criminal to have the opportunity to advertise your product/service on national radio and not use it!! Hello! Are any of you commentors businessmen?
  • Boortz Advertising
T-Shirt and Catseye - turn the dial.

    BTW -
If I were a radio station program director who carried Neal's show, I'd hope he sold a zillion books, became even more famous, drawing in even more listeners and revenue.
  • um
Where else do you expect him to advertise? He certainly isn't the only one that does this.
  • Sick of Boortz advertising
got to say i'm sick of it too. and your twitter, and your "vote for me" advertisements.

  • Gates
Less about racism and more about an elitist professor who knows people in high places. Why should the profiling of police, because of the behavior of some of their members, be any less inappropriate than the profiling of blacks because of the bad behavior of some of their members?
  • Sick of Boortz advertising his books on air
Boortz, I like your show and I have bought a couple of your books from the discount bin 2 years after their publication. But I get sick and tired of you using your radio show and your web site to shamelessly plug your books all the time. If I were a radio station program director who carried your show, I might charge you for the time you devote on your show to advertising your books. It makes me want to turn on NPR.
