What others are saying
Nascar
Nascar guys do this all the time.
Why?
I would have never noticed something like this. Once the car has been driven through the mud, it will match the rest of the body even better.
redneck bodywork
My son-in-law is a body man. I told him he may have to find a new profession if this keeps up--
Pretty Smart
If I saw him in traffic I would stay away. That's way I drive an older car (pre-1992)in ATL traffic.
An Improvement
Well, the crappy way that cars are built today, that repair is probably stronger and more durable then the rest of the bloody thing.
DUCT TAPE CAR
This guy lives in my apartment complex. Not too long ago he had a sunroof made out of cardboard AND duct tape. I think it must have blown off on the highway!
Only in Atlanta
You know its in atlanta when its on the corner of Peachtree and W Peachtree.
Duck Work
Red Green would be proud.

What's the point
Like lipstick on a pig...the idiocy of some people is sickening.
tape
Years ago, we had a 75 Chevy pickup that was black and silver. When the state inspection sticker expired, we weren't allowed to have any holes in the body in order to pass. Just coincidently, we noticed that black and silver duct tape was a perfect match for the colors of paint we had... Wasn't even very noticable...
damn
that's butt ugly. but, i remember my daughter's boyfriend made her a bouquet of duct tape roses that was pretty impressive. the things you can do with duct tape!
If you can't fix it with duct tape...
It ain't worth fixing.
It would probably scare the crap out of most of the people out there if they knew just how many big-rig repairs were made with duct tape.
I have fixed many an issue on mine with it...always had proper repairs made later, but if you've got a deadline, you do what you have to to get on down the road.
Duct Tape.....
You all are missing the point; using duct tape lessens the weight of the vehicle so it gets better mileage. Going Green & Saving the Environment just like Obama wants us to do.
Government cars built out of duct tape
The "people's car of tomorrow" might be entirely constructed out of duct tape and lab rats.
The sad thing is, this government just might do it.
politically correct
are you actually allowed to call it "colored" duct tape? Aren't you supposed to properly call it duct tape with red pigmentation?
Beak, you insensitive clod!
It's NOT "colored duct tape," it's DUCT TAPE OF COLOR!
Ben "Politically Correct" from Norcross
R U sure they just aren't covering up their Obama stickers?
Just wondering.
car repair
You should have seen the repair job I did on my VW bug after I jumped it over a creek.
Red tape?
Watch out! When BO socializes auto insurance, the government insurance company will be hiring him for client's repairs.
oh how wrong you is............
I put on the tape then painted the car to match.........
gimme that joint dumbass.......
Redneck bodywork
Every racer in the world has known about colored duct tape (known to us as 'racer's tape) for decades.
nascar
if you watch the race on sunday you'll learn that my 95 Saturn POS has 200 mph tape on it. NOT duct tape. it's black for my little beauty.
Redneck Bodywork
At least it was cheap. More money for Pabst Blue Ribbon.
Ingenious
Now that would really be a hoot if that was the side the fuel fill was on.....
I saw
a car recently that had its back window taped in. The whole back window in packing tape. Still couldn't see through it.
Who knew?
Obviously this person.
I always wondered what a "ramblin' wreck from Georgia Tech" looked like.
Personally, I'm impressed, and it certainly looks a lot better than if it was left uncovered.
Boise Bondo
Used to refer to that as "Boise Bondo" when I lived in Idaho. Seen everywhere after the first snow storm of the year.
You Might Be A Redneck if.....
....you have ever applied duct tape to the exterior of your vehicle. - Jeff Foxworthy
Yup, this guy's a redneck! But a darn talented one!
THAT IS SAWEET!
I need to hire that guy
Bulldog Body Work
Are you sure it wasn't done by a Bulldog?
Red tape
I never thought of using red tape for body work...I always thought it was created for tail light repair.
duct tape
What NASA is to technological advancement........NASCAR is to redneck advancement.
Flexible Bondo...
...gotta luv us "Bubbas".
Way to make our city look great Neal
I'm sure it's things like this that make Atlanta one of the least desirable cities to visit!
