Can anyone tell me how to find the commentary that Neil had posted at Townhall.com about the stimulus spending. One of the most brilliant explanation of the difference between government spending the stimulus money and tax payers spending the stimulus money and the effects on the economy. I’ve got to get that to hang on my wall.

"Repudiate Rush"? I see no reason to repudiate Rush. Are you anti free-speech or what? You don't like him, turn off the radio.

Rush doesn't run the Republican party. The party is currently run by the neocons (war-mongering, spend like liberal) and the religious right (we will legislate your lives in a way that conforms with our interpretation of Christianity).

As much as I can't stand Rush, he could probably do a better job than these clowns did when they were in power.

Obama can’t win this one – too much money. The Dealers Election Action Committee of the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) gave 2.5 million to members of Congress last year making it one of the largest PACs in D.C. Add to this all the individual dealer contributions; you have a lot of money going to congress members.

1. Get rid of ALL the incumbents within your own party.
2. Promise to pass the Fair Tax. Have all members sign and co-sponsor HR 25, S 296.
3. Promise to pass term-limits
4. Promise to secure our borders
5. Promise to for go pay unless they pass a balanced budget
6. Leave the social issues, gay marriage, abortion, etc. to each state

I too am very concerned about the nationalized healthcare and the fact it's a monster we can't afford and will never accomplish what it intends to do.

One thing that we as Republicans can do is become organized and start acting like adults. To do this we are going to have to do as some have suggested and realize that our party has been hijacked by the fringe and we need to address it and take back our party.

Our party needs a clear message and candidates with solid conservative credentials and experience. And we cannot be seen as credible as long as our party and its leadership lets itself be ordered around by a talk show host (Rush). The leadership needs to repudiate Rush and the fringe he represents and or step aside for someone who will. The stakes are too important to delay. The 2010 midterms are closer than we think and we cannot make the gains we need to stop the Obama agenda if our party is seen as a laughing stock.

No wonder Air America couldn't stand on it's own vs. conservative talk, all you can do is chant the mantras of 'Change and Hope' and 'tax the wealthy...' Leave the health insurance alone, it isn't yours, you can't 'fix' it and you can't turn the constitution over to try to make it suit your needs( while accusing others of doing that same thing!).Your ideas suck! Just because somebody thinks they want to change something doesn't make it okay to change it. If it isn't broken, don't try to fix it. If it is broken, find out what actually will work( see: EU countries wishing they had privatized healthcare again...). Maybe it's above your collective paygrades!

Maybe Stan, 3b, or any other liberal can explain why the political hacks in DC will be exempt from this health care plan.. why they will be able to have the same perks as before while the rest will have less than average care. If they are so confident of this plan, why are they not in on it?

That healthcare chart needs to be walked through on a TV advert. It's not enough to just post it. Run some prime time TV ads saying "This is the bureaucracy the democrats will create. Can you find where you will get help in getting claims taken care of?"

This monstrosity called obamacare can only come from the minds of libtards--i.e., people who have never run a business in their lives. And to mention nothing of TOTUS's broken promises of "no new taxes" to fund this monstrosity.

Now I know I am not the smartest person but – If you tax insurance industry, won’t they pass those taxes on to their customers and this would RAISE the cost. People are already having a problem paying for Health care. How can more Government regulations and taxes going to HELP?

It is not going to help. And PLEASE don’t be one of those even more stupid people and say the company will eat these taxes. The company will not eat them, companies never eat taxes. This just goes to show how out of control our Gov is, ALL OF THEM.
