And, we need a thread to talk about the hotel bombing in Jarkarta, Indonesia, right? There's also some surveillance camera footage of the blast. Horrific.

If you want to talk about the health care reform bill, the Sonia Sotomayor hearings or whatever is on your mind, Herman Cain is your man this morning. Herman will be filling in for Neal today. Find out more about Herman here. If you have a question for Herman, email him here.

Bad news for the Democrats ... the Congressional Budget Office says that "the health care overhauls released to date would increase, not reduce, the burgeoning long-term health costs facing the government."

The Democrat healthcare plan would also make individual private medical insurance illegal.  Not kidding, folks.

This is the logic of our Vice President Joe Biden: the federal government has to spend more money in order to keep from going bankrupt.  That's a new one.

Investor's Business Daily explains how the Democrat healthcare plan will lead to economically ruinous tax hikes.

Your tax dollars at work .. $700,000 for the Social Security Administration to attend a conference at an Arizona spa, which included airfare, hotel entertainment, dancers, motivational speakers, and food.

Here's another example of your tax dollars at work ... the federal government is looking to hire a cartoonist for a "humor in the workplace" program.

There is so much wrong with this statement: Nancy Pelosi says that Democrats could use a proposed new tax on the wealthy to pay down the deficit, if there's money left over after funding healthcare reform.

Iran's Ahmadinejad vows that his new government "would bring down the global arrogance" of the West.

The Energy Department has plans to boost the number of vehicles that can run on a blend of mostly biofuel.  Some lawmakers are now realizing that it would be a bad idea for the government to mandate this change.  Gee, ya think?

If you can understand what he is saying, you may enjoy Barney Frank's latest appearance on the Daily Show.  This guy is full of horsesqueeze.

A Japanese toymaker says it can translate dog barks into human language.

Now THIS is a funny billboard.
