I noticed the media wasn't calling the man who murdered George Tiller a Christian terrorist. And yes, if this guy was a Muslim terrorist, then that guy was a Christian one. And in many ways the Christian terrorists are worse than Muslim ones. There is still a serious potential for women to lose the right to choose in this country. There is no real chance of the Muslim terrorists achieving anything, although I guess the USA PATRIOT Act and secret prisons could be considered a success of theirs.

George Tiller was, by the way, a great person who helped many others. And the posts on this site make quite obvious the ignorance of abortion by those who oppose it.

I'm also curious why the guy who murdered him isn't being waterboarded in Guantanamo Bay at this very moment.

Also, 150,000 is the conservative estimate for Iraqi war deaths. But that study had obvious tendencies towards undercounting. The Lancet study says around 600,000.

Since you love "choice", I say Scott Roeder used "his choice" to abort Tiller. Roeder will pay the consequences for his actions, which you do in a civilized society. I know, I know, you will say that Roeder's choice is different because his victim was an "innocent" man who didn't ask to be killed. But, you know what, those babies that were mere days away from delivery date, theones that Tiller killed, I don't recall them saying they want to be killed either?

This same tired issue that liberals always instantly hook onto when a nutjob kills an abortion doctor or a gay person is that he is a Christian terrorist.

The man never said he was killing the doctor for Jesus. He murdered that doctor because his beliefs were twisted to the point where he thought he was doing the right thing by taking out somebody he saw as a murderer. It was against his >religious viewpoints< and he was committing an act he likely saw as just. Was this right? Absolutely not.

But the big difference with Muslim terrorists is that they are striking out at and killing Westerners FOR THEIR GOD. Most of their last words are "For Allah" and their reasons are nothing less than the destruction of everybody in the West who does not ultimately convert to their religion, or anybody who follows a religion other than their own (atheists, you are probably even less safe).

Not that many people are doctors, less perform abortions, and Tiller was one of only 3 in the country who did very late term abortions. How many people in this country are in some branch of the military or are recruiters?

I think Neal is pointing out that there was in fact two other murders committed the day after Dr. Tiller's murder, and that the murders of two servicemen was done by a self-proclaimed Muslim terrorist. The reason Neal brings this out is because the mainstream LIBERAL media has done nothing but harp on the fact that Dr. Tiller's murder was committed by some self-proclaimed right wing Christian fanatic. Over and over and over this point was hammered, a Christian zealot yoddy yoddy yoddy, but there was hardly any mention of the fine upstanding Muslim that murdered two Army servicemen. Its like the fact that Dr. Tiller's murderer had to be ANNOUNCED over and over and over as a Christian as this was important, while the fact that the Army member's murderer was a Muslin was just glossed over like it wasn't important.

Like Neal I'm sick of the double standard. In both situations individuals were murdered in cold blood...both using religion as their spring board, both filled with hate and both plotted their course of actions. One is Christian and one is Muslim, but have we gotten so politically correct that when a Muslim commits a crime they can't be called on it? Both crimes were heinous, and I'm glad that someone is at least reminding us that the murder of these two servicemen was done by a Muslim terrorist.
