Are Americans finally realizing that elections have consequences? Notice that your friends and your neighbors are silently removing their Barack Obama bumper stickers from their cars. Now they're walking around with a "who, me?" look on their faces. Notice also that more people growing weary of government spending and intervention. They may not admit it, but they know they were wrong. After all, Obama didn't lie about what he wanted to do as president - he ran on a platform of bigger government and more spending on healthcare, energy, education, etc. But most Americans couldn't see beyond his hot bod and charm. They we suckered in by focus group slogans. They voted for him anyway.

A new Wall Street Journal poll found that there are rising doubts among Americans. This is not good for a president that has the most ambitious government-growth plans since the Great Depression. For example, 70% of Americans are concerned about the increased government intervention in the private sector.

Now here is a prime example of a dumb Obama voter. This is someone who voted for Obama precisely because of the reasons above. Laura Zamora is a local government worker in Orange, California. Government worker ... that's your key. Ms. Zamora says she is frustrated with Obama, but here is why: "He's bailing out the private sector. He's putting all kinds of money into the private sector ... The money should be going to social programs, not to bailing out banks and GM. It should go to people who are unemployed." I would bet a day's salary that this bimbo was government educated. No bets on whether or not she's here legally.

The Democrats see this failing confidence in their Messiah. They know that if they want to increase government dependency through government growth they have to move fast, before more people out there wake up. It's classic. They're trying to steal your independence .. and their tip-toeing through your room in the dark of night trying to get it done before you wake up ... and they just heard you move under the covers. Why do you think the Democrats are bummed that they have to postpone a markup of the healthcare reform bill? Because they know that time is of the essence.

What others are saying

  • Copyleft
He said "smart and effective liberals" Bwahahahahahahahaa!!!!!! OMG that just cracked me up. Well ok he is half right, they are effective at destroying the constitution and the country.
  • Not Everyone
Ha ha....not everyone is waking up, I'm afraid. Look at Copyleft. That boy (or girl, whatever) is in a coma of ignorance and is NEVER gonna wake up. Sadly, there are lots just like him.
  • Looks like I missed all the fun.
MickeyPvX that was a great post. Of course I think Copy is just in love with Obama and had her professor help her write that little diatribe.

And Frank do you honestly think that anything O has done in less than one inning has been good? I've seen baseball games lost in one inning.

Yes, there are many O voters that are regretting it, to deny that is really just mainlining that koolaid.

There may have been a few Repubs vote for O but majority voted Libertarian if they couldn't vote for McCain. Seriously, you knew up front that O was gonna be left, we just didn't know he was going to reinvigorate the Progressive movement. He said he was going to remake America and he is trying.

But ya know, we kinda like America the way it was supposed to be - like in the Constitution! That's what we have to get back to, quick, and reverse as much of this crap as possible.

I keep asking the lefties, all the new powers being bestowed on O do you want those same powers to be available for the next Conservative President? Hey, what goes around, comes around.

But you just keeping talking about how great he is and how smart you are. We'll let you know when it's time to wake up.
  • Reality
I saw a perfect t-shirt the other day...
"Silly Liberals, paychecks are for workers!" Don't you love it! Isn't it odd that how Liberals only know how to steal money from working people and give it to people who do nothing, and that they do this out of some sort of false compassion.

If I feel compassion for someone or a cause, I volunteer (I'm not forced). I pay money out of my pocket or take time out of my day. I work to make the cause better or to assist. I am a conservative.

If you feel strong for a cause, and you look to the government to take money (that would be called stealing if it was anyone other than government) earned by others labor, and they spend it on the cause for which you might help out, you are a liberal.

    That's Reality...

How brain-dead you must be believe that a liberal is compassionate compared to a conservative. If you are poor, ask yourself if you have been helped any more by Obama... Silly Liberals! Paychecks are for workers. Wouldn't it be nice if Obama did something to cut taxes so new business owners would be encouraged create new jobs.

Silly Liberals!!! I think all but the far left are catching on.
  • Really?
You Obama supporters keep going back and blaming Bush. No matter what it is that is being talke about, blame Bush.

Really? Is that the best that you've got?

At some point, you will have to point the finger at someone OTHER than Bush.

Pointing the finger at Bush for what has happened in the past 2 years shows your narrow mindedness. You people forget that we've had a Democrat majority in congress for the past 2 years. So all the blame can't go to him alone.

    That's my .02 cents.

    P.S.

To the guy trying to compare this to a baseball game and the first inning...

yes, it might still be the first inning, but he's already losing 19-0. Your narrow mind doesn't realize that BASEBALL GAMES CAN BE LOST IN THE FIRST INNING.

    moron...
  • Business jets
Before the election, over half of the cars in the Gulfstream employee's parking lot had Obama bumper stickers. Not as many cars there since the layoffs, and far fewer Obama stickers. Either they're wising up, or they're the ones being laid off. Either way sounds good to me.

An Obama bumper sticker is the idiots way of saying "Fire me first!"

Oh, and Cease? I'm not removing the "Palin In 2012" bumper sticker from my ragged little minivan, but I'm not adding one to my Cadillac, either. The Caddy has a nice paint job and unbroken windows. Figure it out, genius.
  • If the polls are to
be believed, you watch, there will be a slow but steady ground swell of race baiters saying that if you don't re-elect Obama, you're racist.
Oh and copyleft is so rich it must be satire, either that or it's just Neal posting under a pseudonym to get us all riled up. Either way, very entertaining.
  • bumper Stickers
Yes, my Women for McCain sticker is still on my car because I don't want to take any of the blame for the moron that is currently in office.
  • This is funny
All the liberal talk & BS of how Obama's support is good and getting better. Why Just this morning I heard from three differant sources that more and more people are very unhappy with him. We'er hearing that there were a lot of Obama votes at the tea parties. He is doing the very thing that you liberals complained Bush was doing and making Bush look like a penny pincher.

There are those of us that look past the political lines and we remember history! Liberals told us to give Cater a chance, that we were just whining, that were being unfair. Well we see what that got us, didn't we! Well we see the same thing just on a massive scale. Obama and congress are making Cater look like an amature. Yet, every time Obama and crew make a move, unemployment goes up. The stock martket is down more then its up. A year ago unemployment was 5% and stocks at record highs and liberals told us this was not good. Now its turned 180 degrees, foreclosures are getting worse, he's giving billions to the very people liberals vilified to get elected and exspanded goverment in ways Bush had not even thought about (17 czars).

Now suddenly I hear the liberals screaming "Believe us, not what you see!"

Obama is nothing more the an evil Jimmy Carter. At this point what I hear from liberals is "THE BEATING WILL STOP WHEN MORAL IMPROVES!"

    And it keeps getting funnier!
  • Obama supporters
Most of you will be whistling a different tune in about 6 months. It's all been said now we just wait. Guaranteed.
  • "The real problem"
I suppose you count yourself as one of those "enlightened individuals who truly understand freedom and liberty".
Since you apparently don't beleive in "United we stand" why don't you endulge us and give us your 'enlightened' take on the subject.
  • @By 3mbw @ 06/18/09 12:44:23 PM
Great point. I also know a number of hard core GOPs who not only didn't vote for McCain but DID vote for Obama.

LibHater -- where is daddy's beer, boy?
  • Once again CopyWrong in denial
But that's okay, the harder the libtards stick their heads up their azzes, the harder they are gonna fall. And it's going to be an ugly sight. Note how the only phrase a libtard can come up with is "why do you hate America." Yeah, look at that group of collectivist Stalinists who are wanting to take control of companies that had NOTHING to do with taking bail out money.

Also note the mindless libtards ignore the FACT that Dimocrats have controlled Congress for two and a half years now. Mindless libtards fail to understand that CONGRESS sets policy, not the president. Compare this nation's employment rate circa 2006 before the mid terms; do the same with consumer spending, the DOW, investment rate, corporate expansion and investment, and many other metrics under Republican rule prior to the Pelosicrats taking over.

Finally, why do aging old dried up California hippy libs like Barbara Boxer hate the military? You should have heard the wretch when questioning a General this week. General in answering her question: "Ma'am, what we do..." Wretch interrupts: "Please do not address me as Ma'am. I have worked hard to get where I am and would appreciate it if you address me as Senator." Can you believe these arrogant jackass libtards? Yeah Boxer, what have you "worked so hard" in getting your position, pandering to the ignorant dumbm-asses. You mindless pandering pompous libtards running Washington wouldn't know a hard day of work from a hole in the ground.
  • 1 Inning out of 9!
Opps, I left the 28 days in Feb. out! However adding those 28 days still only gives Obama roughly 1 inning out of 9 innings in office, or 149 days in office.
  • Congrats!
You've proven that even Lord Obama voters can furnish an eloquent post. Too bad you're writing skills aren't representative of most of the Obama drones.

Stay tuned pal. You'll get your "change."

PS: Do you have a job?
  • Here's the real problem folks:
Only a handful of wise individuals truly understand freedom and liberty. As I read these comments I see people bashing bail-outs and socialism, but then praising closed borders, english as a national language, and ignorant quotes like "united we stand or divided we fall." And we wonder why the pendulum always swings back and forth.
  • Not so
This is wishful thinking on the part of the right. Facts are that people are NOT removing their Obama stickers or regreting their vote. In fact his support has grown even among formerly diehird republicans who wish they had voted for Obama instead of McCain. Look at the stock market and the optimism starting to emerge. Compare that with a year ago. Obama can not be expected to fix a mess that was 8 years in the making overnight, but has far exceeded expectations. I know one gentleman who voted Republican his entire life but could not do so in 2008 because he felt the nation could not afford 4 more years of Bush/Cheney policies and will not vote Republican again as long as they let themselves by dictated to by a radio talk show host.
  • Copyleft
I have hesitated to respond to such an obviously unhinged individual. However I simply must say this. Childish insults are the last, desparate refuge of a fatally weak argument. Notice how quickly, easily, and consistantly liberals stoop to this behavior. Copy, your arguments simply aren't worth considering. Try to grow up.
  • Bottom of the First
Let's compare the day's Obama has been in office to a 9 inning ballgame and see how childess and petty that right-wing radio/TV is:
There are 1,462 days in Obama's first term so: Divide 9(innings)into 1,462 days, that equals roughly 162+ days per inning. Now divide 6(outs per inning) into 162 days, that equals 27 days per out! He's been in office a 121 days, not even an inning yet!
Obama hasn't been in office a full inning yet all the whiner's and snot-nosed losers one the right continue to bash him for getting nothing done, or getting nothing done right according to them!
Wake up fools, you're being used again, remember the last 8 years!
  • Wrong
I think you're wrong.. people are removing their Republican party bumper stickers!
  • Drive-by Commenting
Oh Copy, you never disappoint. Although I rarely address anyone in particular (or comment much at all) I have to say this one made me laugh. Usually it's more of a chuckle as he/she/it makes an unsubstantiated comment and then flees back into the cave he/she/it came from. I acknowledge that by the time this posts, many others may have addressed the same comment, but here we go.

You can first replace the words, "people, we," or, "us," with, "me," or, "I." While it's hard to find concrete evidence as to how many Obama voters are regretful, Prezbo's approval numbers have been falling rapidly since his Fascist agenda has been revealed.

Let's see, a few frustrated insults and stereotypes about Neal's listeners, delusional ranting about Obama being a moderate and more intelligent than Republicans, etc. Pretty standard liberal tripe.

I especially like the bit about the preservation of capitalism. Yes, by nationalizing two of the countries largest industries (financial and auto) and eyeballing/heavyhanding the rest of our businesses, capitalism will surely flourish. But all the liberal mind must do is simply hear the golden voice of the messiah when he says, "I have no interest in running these companies," and come running back proclaiming, "see! I told you he won't take them over!"

Impatient? Perhaps because those of us who care to learn from failures of the past (think a bit further back than just 8 years ago, and maybe expand your worldview to places like, say, the former USSR [keyword: FORMER]) know what economic policies will work, and which will surely drive us into catastrophe (a real one this time).

And they don't take this much time either.
  • I wish.
As nice as this sounds, it ain't so. None of my friends or family who voted for Obama has expressed any regret or doubt -- except maybe to say he's not as far left as they hoped, or not doing enough.
  • Arguing/Debating
Arguing/Debating with Copy is like a martian talking to a fungo. Why even bother? He should just change the name to "Blame Bush".
  • Copyleft
What's wrong Copyleft? Hate to hear that your clan is dwindeling??? Bitter much???
  • if i voted for obama
if i voted for obama i'd be removing my stickers. because he just king george the second.
The Federal Reserve finances hedge funds as they buy stuff the banks don't want and the FDIC covers their losses. seems like he got that from george the first
Bush/Paulson engineered the early bailouts for Citigroup and Bank of America, and they were bad, but not nearly as bad as Obama's Citigroup bailout, where government-owned preferred stock was converted to common stock at higher than market price (a super sweet deal for Citigroup).
Obama wants to spend 2 percent more in the next fiscal year than President Bush allocated, and 9 percent more than we spent last year.
who's our Defense Secretary? Oh yeah, the same one who served under Bush.

    Obama/Palin republican for 2012
    :O)

Wow--you have blinders on, O-dumba** could commit any offense in the world and you'd support it. I will treat your president the same way you treated mine, with contempt...
  • To Copyleft
ROFL...that is all I am going to say. You are going to facepalm when you learn the truth.
  • yes they are
Copyleft. perhaps not in your neck of the woods, but in mine they are. There have been enough articles to the editor in the local newspapers stating they have covered up or removed their stickers. In addition people I have spoken with have covered their stickers - in shame. People like my allergist who voted for obama (and to boot he is Jewish - go figure) who hung his head during our conversation and said to me, "Yes I did vote for him. I'm sorry". Those who have put down the kool aid and are becoming educated that obama's agenda goes far beyond taxes are now joining ranks with those that knew before the election. The freedoms of our country are at risk.

Oh yes and Neal give me a break - hot bod? the guy looks like a skinny chicken in addition to being unattractive.
  • don't bogart that ...
todd gimme sum of dat stuff you bin smokin!
  • Laura Zamora - not a dumb voter at all!
"He's (Obama) bailing out the private sector. He's putting all kinds of money into the private sector ... The money should be going to social programs, not to bailing out banks and GM." She is asking a VERY good question and I'd rather have her cast a vote than some dimwit standing in line at an Idol audition. Now the Republican happen to be in a VERY dicey situation in supporting welfare programs for corporations (Wall Street/Airlines/Agribusiness/etc) but balk at funding social programs (healthcare/WIC/unemployment benefits/etc). I've heard VERY few Republicans support lower taxes along with TRUE limited government. If the R's want to be a minority party for the foreseeable future then continue the what they are doing now! At least the Dems are being honest; they like Socialism. Nationalization of industries, bailouts, and large social programs are a part of their agenda!
  • Buyers remorse
Yes, there are quite a few who cast vote for the popular one and now regret doing so. That's a good thing too late. Then there's those blinded, hopeless liberals who won't give up on the socialist/fascist/authoritarian agenda no matter how much it hurts America claiming it's for the best. Now I know why the libs still bash W, he wasn't left enough. Simply hopeless.
  • I need guidance.............................
I don't have the answers to many problems. maybe my brain is underdeveloped.

I can see a way to solve some of them.....change the leadership(is that what that is?) in gubmint.

    here is a few suggestions.......
    1. either term limits (6 years max) or
    single terms only (6 years)
    2. higher pay ($350,000) no perks, no
    retirement package.
    3. citizens able to recall quickly with
    a vote of no confidence.
starting to sound kinda like dem damn foreners huh.
    4. one term in a life time (no going
from rep -> sen or vice versa)
    5. must paint target on chest, ok that's just crazy...........aaaaahhhhhh wait that's not a bad idea.

so does any of this help? it must be my training and education that makes me see a problem and try to come up with a solution. however I don't always come up with one, sooooooooooo I reach out to those that might be able to help.

  • It's my party and I'll cry if I want to
This "party" crap has gone on too long.
Ever hear the saying "United we stand divided we fall"? We have allowed ourselves to be divided. It's time we unite as Americans, not as democrats, republicans, liberatarians, etc. We have to put these self imposed divisions aside and work for what's best for US.

When someone asks your nationality you don't say I'm a "democrat" or "republican", you say you're AMERICAN.

Stop allowing yourself to be led around by the nose by the media and government. THINK FOR YOURSELF. It's very liberating.

(climbing down off my soap box now)
  • faithful to political affiliation
When politicians stop being 100% faithful to their party and themselves instead of the voters/people, then and only then, will government turn around. Get rid of all incumbents, if the new ones do a crappy job, get rid of them too.
  • Wishful thinking, Neal
No, people aren't removing their Obama bumper stickers. I'm sure your listeners (and all the trailer-trash they hang with) have nothing but contempt for Obama supporters, but that only proves that scum congeals.

If anything, America is simply too impatient. Obama's programs haven't fixed the economy overnight--partially because they don't go far enough... darn that moderate Obama with his attempts to preserve capitalism instead of discarding it!

But no, we're not ashamed of him or regretting our votes. Why would we be? He's already proven FAR more effective and intelligent than the idiot Republicans he's replaced.

Remember them? The utterly failed and discredited Bush administration that doomed the GOP's electoral prospects for years to come? Yeah. Them. Your albatross. Funnily enough, that stigma hasn't faded. America still knows better than to vote for Republican crackpots and fools.

(By the way, Ms. Zamora's right--why should we give bailout money to the corrupt plutocrats who trashed our economy in the first place? Obama's being far too forgiving here.)

Still, the Obama administration has taken the right steps (albeit in a moderate, rather than radical way)... which means it'll take time to fix all the Bush disasters.

Americans, we're an impatient bunch. But at least we're headed in the right direction now. And knowing that just has to burn the shriveled little souls of the Rabid Right who'd love to see our country collapse rather than have Obama succeed in saving it.

Why do you hate America, wingnuts? You reveled in asking that for the past eight years, so now it's our turn. Why do you hate America--the LIBERAL country, run by smart and effective LIBERALS the way it should be?
  • Wake up? Who?
hey... I ain't no BO supporter but everyday I hear on radio and TV how popular he is. So, that and the number of BO stickers I still see make me believe that the nation has yet acknowledged the pig in a poke purchase they made.
  • is it too late
I wonder if Copyleft removed the B. Hussein Obama bumper sticker from his car. Where is Copyleft on this topic. Anyway, what I am concerned is that Obama is radically trying to convert the country into Fascism if not outright Socialism and the American people won't wake up until it is too late.

  • wake up to reality or snow in hell?
Neal,I never expected YOU to underestimate the stupidity of the american voter. Most will never wake up and with their dying breath will pray asking Obama for forgiveness. The damage is done.
  • sure thing...
Had McCain won the election GM wouldn't collapse, we would be in full charge economy, the wars woudl be over, there woudl be no need for TARP money, and the banks would all be solvent without assistance. Sure thing.
  • The government shouldn't be bailing out the private sector. Period.
The government should never use taxpayer money to bail out any privately run or owned company even if it is "too big to fail". This goes for the banks, the insurance companies, or UAW-controlled auto companies. These bailouts are pure socialism. And we can blame Bush, Obama, Pelosi, and McCain for this TARP program. Perhaps we should rename the USA, to USSA at this point - United Socialist States of America.
  • Reality Check
I hope people are starting to wake up, and I must say I have been noticing less Obama stickers around in traffic.

To all those who are just waking up, I would like to say "I/we told you so!" Thanks so much for attempting to tear down our country with your vote. Once you wake up thoroughly, listen to your buddies who are still praising Obama, and realize how sadly we've looked upon you all this time.
  • The good news is.....
...Democrats still have to disguise their true agenda with focus-group code words and backdoor deals. When it gets to the point where they're honest about their true agenda, hide your money and run like the wind.
  • Support for Obama, Boortz is right=Good for our country
Everybody hates a person who says "I told you so."
But I very strongly feel the urge to do it. I have a lot of friends who have admitted that they are sorry and angry with themselves for having voted for Obama. The decline in Obama support, at least from the 'swing voters' really is as obvious to see as Boortz says it is.

Copy and Co. will probably post today exclaiming how irrelevant Conservatives are. That is simply a routine exercise for him and other liberals who believe that by closing their eyes the bad, bad men will all go away. Fooling themselves is the only way they could make believe that Obama would not have made a mockery of everything he put his hands in when they cast their vote.

It goes without saying that certain groups will not give up their support. College students, for instance, are so deeply convinced that Obama is unassailable that unless their lib professors walk into class one day and say "My goodness but I looooove Sarah Palin!" they will never flag in their support.
Additionally, many black people (I am ready for ignorant fools to call a relevant observation racist, by the way, so do your worst) will never give up their support because they have that racial thing invested in this. I only wish, for their sake, that they would have had someone a little bit more honorable to represent them in the Oval Office for the very first time.

I wonder if Obama is going to do anything if a Korean missile lands in Hawaii this 4th a July (Kim Jong Il has made a habit of defiance on holidays generally seen as patriotic in America).
  • too stupid to know
most BO voters are oblivious to current events anyway to know what's going on. i still see the O stickers and I still see Gore/Lieberman stickers on cars as well.
  • A question [that won't be answered of course] to all the Statist trolls out there:
Fauxbama is trying to control more of the private sector and seizing the property of private citzens, How is he any different than other Statist “Rulers” of the past?
  • RE: Notice that your friends and your neighbors are silently removing their Barack Obama bumper stickers from their cars.
LOL!!! Most people's reaction when they see one of those '0' crap stickers is “you're an idiot”

Seriously, those stickers are an easy way to identify the morons out there. The relatively 'smarter' ones are just starting to figure out what those stickers signify, and removing them.

Thankfully the stupider ones haven't figured that out yet.
  • People like Stanley and Gayvin
Notice how they have backed off on their rants lately??? It's because they're beginning to realize that Obama is going to give them their benefits for same sex couples.
  • Late?
Guess the Kool Aid effect is wearing, though a little late. I still think we need to find the french fry guy from Miami and ask him if he still has "hope".
  • People are starting to see...
that it is not just Obama. They are starting to notice that it is all of Washington. Our leaders have failed us completely. That is the reality. Further then that they probably all have backup plans in place for when things REALLY go south. The average American does not. :(
  • great news....
...I guess people are FINALLY waking up to the fact that Chairman Teleprompter is Bush part 3. I saw a headline today where Bush was slamming Obama..I thought it hilarious. A govt growth, police the planet leader slamming a govt growth police the planet leader. Pretty Ironic. If you don't believe Obama and Bush have/had the same agenda then just ask yourself these simple questions.

    Between Bush and Obama which wanted;

    1. An absolute end to the progressive income tax

    2. Every illegal alien encouraged to head home, and the border secured?

    3. English to be America's official language?

    4. An audit and phasing out of the federal reserve

    5. All troops withdrawn from ALL countries where congress has not voted to declare war against a TANGIBLE enemy

    6. An end to federal govt involvement in healthcare

    7. An end to federal govt involvement in education

    8. An end to America's drug war addiction

    9.An exit from the UN

    10. No signing of ANY bailout bill whatsoever.

Wake up people the war is not against terror its against the traditional constitutional conservatism. Both Bush and Obama capitalize on crises in order to expand government....no 2 ways about it.If you believe their agenda was different, or that Mccain would have done things differently, then you might want to try and wash that kool-aid taste out of your mouth.
  • Good Stuff!
I know two moderate Democrats that are extremely disappointed in the Teleprompter In Chief since his shift hard left. They say they will vote Republican in 2012 no matter what, but still have faith in Dem congress, which makes no sense. Anyway, it is good to see America slowly starting to wake up out of the Obamanation fog. Next up we need to work on getting Congressional liberal Dimwitocrats out of there. They OWN the trouble this nation is in today. especially considering they've been in control of congress for the last two and half freaking years.

The strongest failing of the Obama Administration as far as tactics go is the fact that they have become complacent and don't think their poop stinks. Look what they are doing this weekend with ABC to sell Socialized Medicine, and yes it is Socialized Medicine no matter what Obama's press core says (ABC,NBC,CBS,Huffington Post....) It's obvious that ABC's in the tank for Obama, it's obvious that they don't care what it looks like anymore, it's obvious that they have an agenda and are willing to outright lie to the American People to accomplish that agenda. They think that they should be able to do whatever they want to do because they know what best for the American people and we should just sit back and let our benevolent leader make the decisions for the "Common Good". I can feel an awakening starting to trickle through America and I think in the long run it will make us a stronger. What's the old saying "If it doesn't kill you it can only make you stronger"? Well lets make it happen to ensure that it doesn't kill us :)
  • Heeeres your sign...
My hubby and I play a game when we are out and about. Whenever someone does something supid we look at each other and say "Obama Voter". We are more often than not correct as proven by the Obama 08 sticker on their bumper.

  • Reality Check
President God knows We The People, ie, His subjects, have short memories. After He flushes another 15 TRILLION DOLLARS of our kids' (and their kids' and THEIR kids') lives down the crapper with His holy healthcare blitzkreig, just watch how smoothly and suddenly calm, quiet, even 'conservative' He becomes right around, say, February of next year, when it's time to hit the road and secure more democrat seats for 2010. Then, of course, when He's swaddled warmly in another blanket of partisan protection, He can effect Phase II of the Master Plan: massive tax increases on everything from bank deposits to internet useage (a penny per keystroke won't hurt anyone!), shredding the pesky ol' US Constitution, and downsizing the American military to three guys in a Cessna with a crate of rocks.
