If you're getting on in years, or if you're caring for an older relative, DO NOT read this.

This cap-and-trade scheme will spend billions of dollars not to cut down trees in other countries.

How dare anyone compare THE Barack Obama to that heinous former President Bush.

The Democrats are slowing starting to see their ambitious agenda for 2009 fade into political oblivion.

Barack Obama wants to emulate the Spanish model for creating "green jobs." George Will explains why this is humorous.

The number of Americans filing for unemployment benefits rose unexpectedly last week.

The Obama administration needs to come up with a measly $20 billion in order to keep highway construction projects afloat.

Oh joy ... Barack Obama says that committed to working with Congress to pass a comprehensive immigration reform.

An audit of the Detroit government school system found there to be 257 people that are mysteriously getting paid for doing .......

Russians have erected a billboard of Joseph Stalin to promote his methods as the best remedy for the world economic crisis.

What could be worse than drinking and driving?

Porn has finally come to the iTunes App store .... I'm surprised it took this long?

  • what happened to the stimulus money?
What happened to the billions that were going to construction, infrastructer repair and these so called shovel ready projects that were going to give the construction worker/industry a boost since they were the hardest hit by the recession? Seems that 1/2 of those billions were diverted to create jobs that were"woman friendly" like teachers and healthcare that were ALREADY growing and thriving without the help.Meanwhile untold numbers of construction workers and business go under waiting for projects that never appear and the infrastructure of the country degrades even further. But don't worry the teachers union is happy and we will have enough new healthcare workers to drive down the wages so the new healthcare programs can work cheaper.(of course the hospitals will be falling apart along with the bridges,roads,dams,ect.....but won't those damn generator windmills be picturesque & pretty!)
  • Who to blame for the healthcare mess?
Fingerpointing is easy ... how to fix it? Or is it really broken?

"Affordable" (i.e., "free - to me") healthcare is NOT going to happen.

Asking the gub'mint to run the show doesn't work. Please don't tell me about how great Medicare is - because it isn't all that great. Medicare already "rations" the care you can receive. And there are "affordable" (fsvo "affordable" Medigap policies that you damn well better have to cover the expenses that Medicare decides it won't.

How to fix it? Haven't a clue - I'm not that smart. I'm just smart enough to know that the proposed "solutions" not only don't seem to address the "problems" but do seem to spawn new problems.

  • Rationing, withholding and political control
How hard would it be to discriminate healthcare based on your political view?

A valid question would be "How could this be used and abused by government?"

  • "Rationing, and not only withholding care from the elderly."
Defacto rationing is going to happen, whether it is the insurance companies or the government doing it. We have come to a point where the current situation is truly unsustainable.

I can't wait for the first person to broach the subject of involutary euthanasia. (I'm sorry Mr. Boortz, you have cancer and there is no point in treating you. Please hold out your arm...)
  • Re: The Democrats are slowing starting to see their ambitious agenda for 2009 fade into political oblivion.
It's always quite satisfying to see people wake up to the utter idiocy of Statism – A failed system if there ever was one.

  • "Rationing, and not only withholding care from the elderly."
Anyone who couldn't see communist...err.... socialized health care as going to be rationed (government allocated) must be a mindless Obamabot libtard. Of COURSE it's going to be rationed! Why do you think the incompetent libtard Dimocrats in Washington want to rush the plan through ala express lane Stimulus Bill? You see, rationing is the Utopia of the sickness of liberalism: everyone is therefore on equal grounds. Pathetic and about as un-American as one can be: FORCING others to be equal. Disgusting.
