Obama is going to have a press conference today at 12:30PM EST. Maybe he will explain to America how moved he is by Iran and North Korea.

According to Rasmussen, 39% of voters now say the country's economic problems are caused more by the policies Obama has put in place.

Yesterday Obama revealed the long-awaited rules on how to properly count the number of jobs created or saved by the stimulus bill.

This article explains how Obama has gone from a great communicator to a great explainer .. much like FDR.

Fired Inspector General Gerald Walpin wants a Congressional hearing on his case.

The Supreme Court ruled that parents who send their special education students to private schools cannot be barred from seeking taxpayer reimbursement for their tuition costs.

Teachers unions have found their latest target: charter schools.

French President Nicholas Sarkozy says that burqas (you know .. the penguin suits) will not be welcomed in France.

Mother of the year award. She leaves twin infants in a car in 90 degree weather so that she can go shopping.

Get this ... Democrats in many state legislatures are pushing measures that require businesses to grant employees additional time off from work.

That fired inspector general? What was PrezBO trying to cover up?

Arizona has had the longest stretch of days below 100 degrees since 1913. Must be all of that global warming.

Man, Harry Reid is really pushing for immigration reform lately. Now he insists on including a guest worker program in future legislation.

Dianne Feinstein says that all narcotics trafficking in the US is controlled by drug gangs in federal and state prisons.

Avg. rating: N/A

What others are saying

  • To Smooth operator
I'll dismiss your commect about the kool-aid, although in this hot weather some would taste good right now.

You need to stop getting your news from conservatives and look at the facts. One fact for example.

    Dow Jones close Jan 19 2009- 7400.80
    Close today- 8322.91

A 12% increase. And we've had a 35% rally in the last several weeks.
  • Well done, Monsieur Sarkozy
I wish PrezBO had the stones to tell the Muslims "NO you can't".

I never thought I'd be cheering on the French but so far, Sarkozy has been a pleasant surprise. Bien fait, Monsieur Sarkozy.
  • @3mbw : what koolaid are you drinking?
"Stock market is up" No, it's down. The DJIA is DOWN exactly 4.98% since Obozo's taking office.
"Talk of economic recovery is up" - Nouriel Roubini (the guy who warned us about the impending credit crunch, remember?) warned June 16th of a double dip recession and that unemployment would rise to a staggering 11%.
"Optimism is up" - Yeah, right. Today the published results of the Business Roundtable Survey of US CEO's reveals that employment, capital investment and sales activity is forecast to decline for the remainder of the year.
"Talk of recovery in housing is up" - The WSJ reported TODAY that foreclosures surged ahead by 18% from the previous month and that avg. home prices have declined some 17% from a year ago. What kind of recovery is that?
"39% disapprove" -What? The number published by Rasmussen Polls TODAY shows that a staggering 45% DISAPPROVE of Obama's performance.
Not only is PrezBO failing, but he is failing at an unprecedented rate. No president has EVER had such an unfavorable rating after such a short time in office.

PrezBO: Somewhere in Kenya, a village is missing an idiot.
  • Let hussein talk some more, what he does says it all.
I’ve never been a big fan of polls, but 60% trusting their own economic judgment more than hussein’s is hopeful. You don’t have to know a thing about economics to see he has no clue, so it might not be saying much, but a free country depends on her people using their own judgment. As long as there are a large number of people willing to govern themselves there is hope for freedom and The US Republic.

I’m sure the new job data rules are a masterpiece of opacity and convolution. Remember, these standards are brought to you by the same people who oversaw that ‘100,000 cops on the street’ program in the ‘90s. Though they blew all the money, they were still over 75,000 cops short (if you let them count time saving devices as people).

I never saw anything great about hussein’s communication’s skills. He’s way too vague and patronizing, I just saw a nekkid frog, not a king in pimpin’ threads.

IG Walpin should get a hearing, and the dp might put on a little show for some face time on the news, but don’t expect a dp congress to do anything. These crooked donors and constituents hussein is protecting serve the dp at all levels. This is just the sort of thing the msm wouldn’t stand for if hussein had an (R) after his name. Elections have consequences.

Teachers unions are for the lowest common denominator in education for the highest pay and job security. Anything that excels is their target, but they do prioritize.

I’ve come to despise American cultural groveling (way beyond sensitivity, civility, or good manners) so much I’m coming to appreciate French cultural arrogance. We might be able to learn something useful from them after all. President Sarkozy is by far the best French President in my lifetime.

Paying people to not work is the dp’s idea of stimulating the economy and creating economic growth. If it’s not working, it’s because you aren’t chanting “yes we can” with enough faith and fervor, you defeatist traitors. Sorry, I was trying to imagine how much drain bamage it would take to fall for dp economic ideas and got carried away.

Hussein is blatantly abusing his power to cover up dp corruption, and apparently the misuse of federal funds for partisan political activities. It’s okay though, they have (D)s after their names. The msm is very busy elsewhere, of course. Over the next 4 years we will see the dp do everything they accused the GOP of doing over the last 8.

Global warming has gotten so bad it’s causing global cooling. Yea, that’s the ticket.

If all narcotics trafficking is controlled from within our prisons, it’s only because we allow it. If we can’t stop narcotics when we already have the leaders of the distribution networks locked up, we aren’t going to. We’re just going to make some very bad people very rich, and the junkies will still kill their silly selves.
  • 3mbw
CBO predicted all that BEFORE the economic spending.... Obama gets no credit because he's spending is going to UNDO what little gains we have right now. Wait till next spring.
  • Frank
    It's NCchik by the way.

I suppose you think she should listen to ABC or NBC instead?

Have you listened to Beck? Tell us one thing he's wrong on with links to your sources. He's the one that has named Bush/Obama "progressive" and "progressive light". What's the difference?

Try him, you might like him. But take your fingers outta your ears first.
  • Obama and the Economy
Since Obama took office 5 months ago:

    Stock market is up
Talk of economic recovery is up
    Optimisim is up
Talk of recovery in housing is up
Daily barage of doom and gloom about the "credit crunch" is all but gone

Given that Obama has had only 5 months to deal with a mess 8 years in the making, I am impressed with his progress so far.

And even if 39% disapprove, then that leaves 61% who do not disapprove.
  • Ms. Feinstein
Can that vile broad possibly be any more pig-ignorant? Some of the crap that dribbles from her lips...she needs to be careful, somebody might mistake her for Maxine Waters, another dumb broad.
  • Special Ed
I wonder if the parents of kids with genius I.Q.'s can apply for vouchers. Seems like their the ones who really need them.
  • Is Chchik Foxedilized?
    Chchik @ 9:48
You've got to let Fox News go!You've been Foxedilized and it's one of the worse cases I've seen on this site in the past few days.
At least when Bush first took office he was too busy clearing brush and riding his bicycle at his faux dude ranch to care about running the country!
I beg you, give it up before it's too late!
  • War on Drugs
If drug trafficking is controlled by gangs in prison, what does this say about the success of The War on Drugs?

I know it doesn't matter because alcohol is the champion drug of choice for the majority but you may want to consider what it cost you in taxes to save some idiot from himself when he is hell-bent on destroying his life with hard drugs.

It would be cheaper and more compassionate to manufacture and sell them cheaply, all the while filming their demise over time so you can play it for your kids.

Truthful shock education is the only real deterrent to young people when choosing whether to do drugs. Wake-up America.
  • Corruption Within the Obama Administration
Former Inspector General Gerald Walpin wants a hearing with the Democrat controlled Congress. Yeah good luck on that pal! This president will get away with whatever he can, unless reigned in by the courts. I believe that one of the legacies of the Obama Administration will be its corruption.
  • Guest Worker Program
What the hell is a guest worker program.

It is an illegal alien worker program for Mexicans.

    Call a spade a spade.
  • Amother GA Tech Robbery
Another armed robbery last night by a black guy with dreadlocks.
The thugs know the students are easy targets and probably have nice personal electronic devices (maybe little cash) they can trade for drugs, more guns, etc.
Why don't they put a few armed poh-leece out there walking around and night and just shoot these MFs?
  • "ADHD" Kid I'm Paying Private Tuition For
    1. ADHD is a BS diagnosis. Take your kids away from their video games, make them run around outside and they won't have ADHD.

    2. Why am I being forced to pay for the private schooling of this kid? If the parents want private school, they can sell their iPhones and Xboxes and other toys and fork out the cash.

    3. If ADHD kid can get free private school tuition on my back, then I want my kids who are NOT ADHD because I KNOW HOW TO PARENT to get free private school tuition!!!
  • Mother of the Year
She looks enough like Michelle Obama to be her sister!
  • Mother of the Year
Sure, it's not a good idea to leave the kids alone in the car...but read the article - it was 10pm at night - I seriously doubt that it was putting their lives in danger due to the heat.
    Risk of Kidnaping? yeah, maybe...
  • Teacher's Unions
Check out this article! With the budget problems NY has, this is absurd.

  • 39% of voters
39% of voters can't even find the US on a map. so don't give us polling data like it make any sense
  • Polls
    and surveys - Bah Humbug!
Tell you what ... I'll let you all know what America's opinion of obama is in 2012. And you'll get no silly "margin of error" from me either.
  • Guest Worker Program
    The Rules:
    1. Prove that you have indeed tried to fill with American workers.
    2. Either you or an agent line up your candidates, provide background checks on each one.
    3. They do NOT bring families with them.
    4. As soon as the harvest or project is complete, they GO HOME.
  • ACORN changes names
We knew this was gonna happen. Glen Beck's been predicting it for 6 mos. or more. I am a little disappointed in the choice - Community Organizers International. Why not the usual "leftist" approach and call it what it's not, like Responsible Citizens for Freedom or World Peace Promoters? or We're all Equal?
  • What was PrezBO trying to cover up?
He is probably trying to get the mandatory civil service program off the ground and he is going to need new leadership that is on board with the idea. Kinda reminds me of the Red Army personally. Obama's own little force of socialist worker bees. I love Obama don't you? This is Rahm's idea btw. :(
  • Too much talk
Don't all of these television addresses Obama keeps making seem a bit like micro-managing, insecurity and clueless.

We've all seen managers who don't have a clue what they are doing and are trying to ramrod a half-a$$ed plan down everyone's throat. But because the plan makes no sense or is so glaringly wrong no one can take any initiative so the "manager" has to have constant, endless meetings to tell everyone what to think, say and do to give the appearance that his idiotic plan is doing something productive.

The end result is a lot of waisted time with no positive results.

    Dooh!!Bama
  • It's All Bush's Fault...
Five months into a presidency which began amid the depths of the worst economic misery in decades, Obama will confront the media in the Rose Garden of the White House at 12:30 p.m. (1630 GMT), officials said. Yeah, right. And a lie repeated often enough becomes the truth. So WH officials are still claiming PEBO inherited this financial situation (worse in history) from Bush? Our president will not accept responsbility for his failings thus far, no way will he take responsibility for Iran/N.Korea.

  • Guest workers (and, oh yeah, the NYT)
A properly administered guest worker program is actually a good idea. Of course, what the Democrats call a "guest worker" program is really an "Importation of Illegal Votes for Us" program.

Did you hear about the NYT reporter who escaped the Taliban after 7 months? Gee, the NYT can sure keep a secret when they understand the importance. If they get it in this case, why don't they get it in the case of national security?
  • What was the Prezbo trying to cover up?
I like the line about the Drive-By Media holding Obama accountable. Yeah, like they have so far, NOT!

I see for the next two days we have to endure ABC's (All oBama Channel) love affair with the Prezbo. I wonder if we will get answers to the tough questions like - How is the family dog adjusting to life in the White House? What is his favorite TV show - wait he already told us it was that Brian Williams farce. This President is such a joke and it would be a laughing matter if he wasn't trying to destroy Ameria. He will be remembered as the "Remember When" President. I am sure everyone can come up with a good "Remember When" line. Remember When we had a President who was PROUD of Ameria - instead of accusing America for every ill in the world!
  • Mother of the Year
What the hell was she thinking? Watch the news much lady? It only take a few minutes for a small child to suffer heat exhaustion or worse in a closed up vehicle, cracked windows or no. No excuse, none! Spend the extra five minutes to take them out,put them in a stroller, take them in with you.
  • Re: 39% of voters now say the country's economic problems are caused more by the policies Obama has put in place.
Well, duh – even the typical brain dead Obozobot should be able to figure that out...

On second thought, probably not – they're mostly incapable of figuring anything out, that's why they're Obozobots in the first place.

    (Snicker)
  • Oui!
I know one of the commandments is "Thall shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife". Fair enough. Mrs. Sarkozy is a real 'change' for a First Lady, let's leave it at that. But I will say this, I do admire the gaulic gonads her husband posesses. The Muslims just have to realize they aren't in an Arab country and it's not racism, it's not bigotry, it's not prejudice. Don't try to enforce archaic religious customs in a modern society. Wear what you want in the privacy of your own home, that concept is pretty universal. Want your women covered up, send em back to their home countries. What's behind this? Probably Sarkozy doesn't want the kinds of problems England, Denmark, and Holland are dealing with. Allow people to migrate to your country, fine. Allow them to force their customs and belief system on the rest of the country, non, merci! It's refreshing to see some political incorrectness from a world leader. Wish our man had a pair like that.
  • Regarding Iran
You know, it's none of our business what happens in Iran. They have a repressive government? Well, let THEM do something about it. We should not meddle in the internal affairs of other nations.

Besides, we've got enough problems of our own. Don't forget that our elections are rife with fraud. (Ever heard of ACORN?) And our government is becoming more oppressive every day.
