First off thank you so much for your service. I know freedom isn't free and it's up to men and women of your "cut" to keep it for us.

As to what can we do? Educate ourselves. I think many of us are surprised how little we knew of how this system is a) SUPPOSED to work and b) is working or being abused right now.

Then check your reps and see how their voting record (not what they say) falls in with what you believe. If it doesn't, don't believe them when they start yelling "I get it now" cause they are lying. Vote them out.

We have to do this to regain control in 2010. Then on from there.....

If you can, run for office yourself! I'd vote for ya!

What's next is the elimination of Talk Radio Allah willing. Then all you nut jobs will have to find something else to do with your time, maybe become more productive and also less polarized.

The GOP has joined with them to do so on too many occasions, as well. They always have great titles and goals, but the details are killers. That's why everything's a crisis, to stampede people into acting without thinking or looking first. Some cows are smarter than that, which doesn't say much for people who aren't.

This is where we disagree. I absolutely believe Obama is an idiot, just as I believe ALL leftists are idiots. Sure, they may have attended ivy league institutions, but that doesn't mean anything. I've known quite a few of 'em, and I'm not impressed. On the flip side, it's really not fair for me to label anybody, considering I'm smarter than everybody I've ever met.

You have to give Obama credit for learning from the Republican's mistakes.

They hadn't controlled Congress and the Presidency in over 40 years. Their moment came and went. What did they do? They didn't pass the the Fair Tax. They didn't eliminate the Department of Education like they said they would in Gingrich's Contract with America. They didn't pass term-limits like they promised they would. They didn't reduce government spending like they preached. They didn't secure our borders. And the list goes on and on.

They basically lied and let their "moment" pass. I have to ask if we would have Obama as president if they had kept their word and ceased the moment. If they had passed the Fair Tax, how many people after receiving their whole paycheck for several years would vote for someone who threaten to start taxing it again?

Give Obama credit for ceasing his moment, although I disagree with his policies.

I blame Republicans for the mess we are in for not ceasing their moment. I guess they were too busy running around on their wives.

I wonder if our leadership would say the same thing about us since the rioters would surely be Tea Partiers and Right-Wing Extremists. None of our rulers care about us. We are their subjects. Our leaders have circumvented our Constitution which means it has no meaning anymore. I believe the streets of the US will look like the streets of Iran in less than a year.

You know it is scary when the Federal Government calls its own citizens Right-Wing Extremists and warns police and FBI to be on the lookout for people who stand up for the freedoms outlined in the Constitution. It is even scarier when the Federal Government is doing everything in their power to go against the Constitution. It is almost as if they are trying to get people upset. It is almost as if they are rubbing this in our faces. They are telling us that they don't care about our freedoms. This is how psy-ops and propaganda campaigns are conducted against the enemies of America. Conservatives ARE NOT enemies of America. The truth is that real Conservatives may be the only chance America has left.

The steps being taken by the Federal Government giving limitless power to the Federal Reserve is absolute craziness. We cannot keep allowing our government to throw more money we do not have at this problem. Every time we have problems with the economy we think we can throw more regulation and money at the problem and it will be fixed, but that is not true. We just keep giving more and more power to the Federal Reserve and THEY were the root of this entire problem. That is like saying we are going to cure a drug addict more drugs to fight off their addiction. It makes no sense and the powers that be cannot justify their actions. Geithner is literally laughed at all over the world. These foreign leaders are not stupid. They know what our leaders are trying to do.
