Why have you never seen Mark Levin interviewed on any major television network? Levin, as you know, wrote an amazingly successful book entitled "Liberty and Tyranny." This beautifully written book was at the top of The New York Times Bestseller's list for many weeks. It's still way up there. There are over 1,246 reviews on Amazon.com ... with a 4+ star rating. But ... have you seen Levin interviewed on any of the broadcast network's (CBS, ABC, NBC) morning shows? Has the NYT published a meaningful review? The answer, of course, is a resounding "no." And why not? That would be because Levin's book is such a powerful statement for liberty and against government tyranny ... and that is not a message the mainstream media is eager to send right now .. not with a Marxist in the White House.

What others are saying

  • Mark Levin's Book
Mark Levin's problem is he's gifted and maybe a handful around the world can match his intellect and knowledge. Why would any network anchor want to interview him when they are diametrically opposed to his views and wouldn't have a prayer debating him on any of the arguments Mark brings forth in his book.

Besides Mark's command of the Kings language he meticulously researches his work and then writes his Masterpiece.

Does anyone believe for an instant Matt Lauer could go toe to toe with Mark on a one on one? Mark's brilliance is his curse and people like Lauer and other News anchors are intimated by Mark.

Who Isn't? It took some doing but I now have 4 brothers here in NY addicted to Levin and all agree it's the educational aspect that Mark brings to the table when he goes in to teaching mode.

Mark would do well if he dedicated maybe one hour a week teaching law, specifically landmark cases that's influenced America's direction.

  • Mark Levin
Mark Levin is one of the voices that brings truth and sanity to the masses. He helps break through the baised commentary that is spouted off as gospel by the mainstream drive-by media. Without people like Mark out there to help educate us, things would be a whole lot worse than they are now. There is a lot to be said when the statist-led government tries to shut down any voices of opposition through the back water channels and shady late-night back alley transactions. Mark's book is going to withstand the test of time. This is simply becuase it not sugar coated talking points that make their way onto the windows of Smart cars via a cheaply produced sticker. It is a relfection of simple truths, that have been proven time and time again throughout the course of our great country's history. The real reason that Mark has not been interviewed by the "major" networks, is because network executives know that their public stance on the issues and political preferences would have absolutley no chance of standing up to the debatory skills of Mr. Levin.
  • Liberty is the key!
After reading Mark Levin's book I now realize how destructive our government school system is. The question is: to what end is their objective? For the ignorance of Liberty is destroying our nation.
  • Mistook the title for the dumb Levin
I'm sorry. When I first read the title of your story I thought you were talking about bringing Carl Levin on your show. I was happy as a clam, "kick his butt Neal!!!" Suppose I'll have to find this book in the library to find out about the guy you are talking about.

BTW, you ever get a chance to rip Carl a new one let me know. I most dearly want to listen, and record it to listen again and again. I was a Michigan resident until a couple years ago. Including 2004-2005 when I was contracting for the Army in Kuwait. That pr@#$ and his Dem buddies were stirring the Abu Ghraib crap as hard as they could and when I emailed his office (more than once) to find out why they were going out of their way to endanger every American in the Middle East for their precious politics I never got a reply! So I really hate that hack and love to see him ripped any time, any place!
  • Lincoln quote
The funniest thing about that quote from Lincoln is that he was one of the worst tyrants we have ever had and he flaunted the Constitution kind of like Obama is doing now.
  • Levin makes great points but...
he is only halfway there. He has not yet admitted to himself that Congress and the Presidency is no longer in control of this country. Levin needs to go ahead and realize that the US government as a whole is a puppet to an international banking cartel. He understands the problems associated with the Federal Reserve, but I don't think he understands that a small group of elite oligarchs literally make all the decisions for Congress and the President. Levin needs to address Bilderberg and the 13 or so power families that make up the elites. Levin better realize though that once he goes down this road he will always have to worry about his family's safety. These power elite do not like seeing their name in the lime light. If they see Levin as a threat they will do whatever they have to to stop him. Many people have died mysteriously going after these highly secretive people.
  • Re: Mark Levin's voice
Abraham Lincoln also didn't have the best voice for speaking, so He's in good company.

BTW, the title Liberty and tyranny comes from this quotation from Lincoln:

"We all declare for liberty; but in using the same word we do not all mean the same thing. With some the word liberty may mean for each man to do as he pleases with himself, and the product of his labor; while with others, the same word many mean for some men to do as they please with other men, and the product of other men's labor. Here are two, not only different, but incompatible things, called by the same name - liberty. And it follows that each of the things is, by the respective parties, called by two different and incompatible names - liberty and tyranny."
-- April 18, 1864 - Address at Sanitary Fair, Baltimore, Maryland
  • J Cooper @@LOL
Well! Maybe I will! As fast as this one is going may not have to.

Wasn't Levin on Beck? His voice is a little irritating but if I am listening to intelligence, that irritation soon goes away.
  • Joyce M/Blythe
Joyce, put down whatever your reading and dive into this book. It's not only a must read,it's a field manual to live by. This man knows the Constitution like the back of his hand. That's why nobody will have him on their shows. They are scared to death of him.

Side note:As far as his voice,I could listen to Mark all day long. I can't listen to BOZO 10 SECONDS.
  • Not Good Entertainment for the masses
He is too brainy for the mainstream which seems to prefer an Entertainment Tonight format.
  • Liberty and Tyranny is a MUST-READ/Mark Levin on Federalism
One of best points Mark Levin makes in his book: Liberty and Tyranny [L&T] is on page 59 in the chapter on Federalism.

Basically he makes the point that the genius of the federal system is that is distributes authority at different levels, so that you don't have power concentrated in one place.

And therefore you don't have one authority that can become evil.

In his words: ”diffusing authority among many imperfect men” …..(to) ,,,,“isolate and limit tyranny”

That's just one of his great points, the book is a MUST-READ!!!!
  • Maybe he needs a better booking agent.
Ann Coulter seems to be able to find her way onto those shows. Maybe Mark needs to hire her agent.
  • Why Levin Not ona Any Shows?
Yes, being a conservative writer automatically eliminates you from about 90% of the reviews and appearances that libs get.

What's the other main reason? SIMPLE: They are afraid of him. Unlike all the other "backbencher conservatives" who apologize and quiver and grovel when confronted by the lib media, Levin does not apologize for his views. He attacks and goes on the offensive. The lib morons would not dare have a guy like this in a debate.

Lesson learned, Neal?: That is the way you deal with libs. Not being nice, OK? You beat them to a pulp and ridicule their mindless drivel.
  • Levin's lack of media exposure
I'm sure one excuse the MSM would use to explain their stonewalling is that he already has a vast audience with his radio program. Doesn't excuse their not addressing his points with rebuttal, though. Of course, they have no rebuttal!
  • Bought his book last week
Haven't had enough time to get through all of it (the footnotes alone will keep you busy for weeks), but so far this has to be one of the best written books on the subject of conservatism and understating statism.

I had begin my reading last week while waiting in the jury pool at my local courthouse, and from the reactions I got from people reading the cover proves there are a lot of sheep in this country.
  • Levin's Book
I'm trying to read it, and I agree with most of what he says, but I would not call it "beautifully written." That said, I listen to Levin at every opportunity, and I'm sure no liberal host with any brains would attempt to go toe-to-toe with Levin; it would like wrestling with a wolverine - naked.
  • I just bought that book!
Have to finish One Second After first, but thumbed through Levin's book and his EXTENSIVE resource list in the back! I'll be using those resources.
  • Levin Who?
    US RDA Sarcasm:
It's not his heretical (to the church of the state) views; it's his annoying voice.
  • Truth
Truth hurts, and libs cannot stand it.
Cannot wait until 2010, assuming we still have a country left.
